Person Ha Ji Won
One of the biggest actresses in korea! Secret Garden and Empress Ki are iconic
Watch her in Hwang Ji Ni and her much older drama Damo (2003) too. Both were really loved by Koreans when first released. Hwang Ji Ni is in youtube with completr episodes. Her dances in this drama are so beautiful.

Congrats to your newborn baby and happy father’s day.

PS: It’s a pity people misinterpret his interview. Why is it so hard to be his fan?

Title The Princess's Man Spoiler
A classic suspenseful historical kdrama between the royal household and a conniving, evil man who wants to be…
Suyang is a real person. His name is King Sejo. Most of the stuff about this drama is real. However the main lovers existence are debated by historians.
Here are some videos that try to explain the historical context which this drama is based on (both are in Korean but I think you'll find a few english comments on some of the videos that try to explain what is in the videos):
1. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ue_lxcEWioU => this video is about the debatable records in history of the existence of the main couple in this show. This has no subtitles but if you scroll the comments, you might see an english comment that explains what the video is about.
2. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cwnD1nd9iN0 => this video depicts the more accurate love story of the two leads based on the only historical record (debated by Koreans if true or not) called Geumgye Pildam.
This drama was able to add on details/characteristics on the characters to make the the show more entertaining while mostly staying true to the history + original source Geumgye Pildam (금계필담) which was why I think this drama is really well made.
Note: Do not click on this links if you haven't finished the show, you will be spoiled.

Title Flower of Evil Spoiler
The fact that jiwon wouldn’t accept him unless she made sure he is not guilty annoys me.. if you sincerely love…
she did accept him. if she didn't, she would have immediately tell her coworkers that her husband is Do Hyun Soo. finding a balance between her duty as a wife to protect him and her duty as a detective to know the truth, she did her own investigation regarding her husband's case before the others knew about him. she loves him so much, she even kneeled down to beg her coworker to consider her husband's case and give him a chance (in episode 11). but as a detective herself, she also have to be fair and rely on evidence. it's one of the central conflicts of her character, the battle of her choices between her as a wife vs her as a detective.

What?No Hyun Bin was a total green flag in CLOY
He's a green flag in CLOY for sure, but I really did enjoy his acting more here than that drama, though I did see his chemistry with Son Ye Jin.
FYI: Hyun Bin won a daesang for this drama at Baeksang awards.

I just finished Six Flying Dragons and it was so amazing that I can't find any drama to fill the void. I tried…
For me this is really good. I remember this one having less martial arts scenes than Six Flying Dragons, so I think you might be a bit disappointed if that's the reason you enjoyed Six Flying Dragons. Deep Rooted Tree is really good for me too. I have to confess though that episodes 8-12 are what I found a bit boring in Tree though Song Joong Ki and Han Suk Kyu's face-off in one of those episodes is one of the highlights in those episodes (and one reason why both became two of my most favorite Korean actors).

Title Hopeless
it’s a movie and not a drama, it premieres in Cannes today
it's still showing at Cannes. Usually movies premiering at Cannes had to finish showing there before they can determine when to release the movies. This is also an indie movie so I'm not sure if they'll release it at the same time worldwide, but hoping it gets great reviews at Cannes and thus be released as soon as possible anywhere.

Title Hopeless
Expected a bigger budget with Song Joong Ki. The cinematography looks like a drama/drama-quality. But hope the…
It's meant to be an indie movie. In fact the director and the actors are all unknown. It was SJK's choice to appear in this movie that got this show more attention and also helped promote this movie. I believe this to be a movie he acted in out of pure love for the story because he decided to appear here without pay.

I don't get why they don't make more serious historical dramas like this one especially considering how popular…
I would like to make them more historical dramas based on real people. I would like them to follow real history and then fill out the blanks that lack the historical details to make great storytelling, maybe add some fictional subplots. This one was a great example of what I'm talking about.

Title The Red Sleeve Spoiler
SML like FL?? Happy ending main leads endup together??
SML doesn't like female lead romantically neither is female lead back to him. He did teased her about the thought of her running away with him though near the end of the drama.
Actually when the drama was ongoing, the viewers were teasing that instead of this drama having the traditional love triangle of two male leads loving the same girl, it's more like the female lead and SML are rivals in the male lead's attention. It's because the male lead really values the friendship he has with both SML and female lead and they are the people he trusts the most.
