Goodness, same with Lee Se Young, I first saw her in Dae Jang Geum. Even though her appearance was short but it was very memorable. I remember how her character was bowing down outside king's palace where Min Jung Ho was inside to say goodbye to him since she's already the king's woman due to being a palace maid.
Same with Junho, while my prejudice against idol actors will be hard to remove (they usually got more hype and followers despite the acting talent which is super unfair to their non idol costars), he will always be one of the idol actors I will respect from now on.

there's a KBS daily drama that's popular for the older generations. The lead actor there even won daesang over Park Eun Bin and Kim So Hyun at KBS

I haven't watched it but there was a movie called The Fatal Encounter about political conlict of her and Yi San. The Yi San 2007 version of Deok Im (Han Ji Min) plays her there.

San waited for her in this life and Deok Im waited for him in the afterlife.

I saw a tweet from a Korean with a great interpretation of episode 17's last scene. Remember the scene where he was opening the door and the scene of Deok Im was dying? The interpretation of that was that the door was an option for him to go back to life (since the scene of him in his deathbed was shown before) and he chose not to open the door so he can be happy with Deok Im even if it's the afterlife. So the scene is really an afterlife.

Completely agree. One, this story is completely Korean based on a real life story of a real life korean king and his real life concubine. Two, it's not like Deok Im time travelled from the future so there's no reincarnation wishing here (aka Moon Lovers season 2).

I wish this was on Netflix so I can watch this show an hour after it finishes airing.

There's a future episode in this drama when the court lady said they shouldn't be together just because they met as children.

I think Deokro is a courtesy title. Similar to Uibin for Deok IM. Not sure why they used it instead of his real name though (but my idea is that the name Guk Young might not sound a good name to modern Koreans, similar to how the name Bertha is not always used today).

it was released yesterday, they said this actor(Lee Soon Jae) will make an appearance at the last episode. Trivia: he played king yeongjo (yi san's grandpa) in Yi San 2007 drama.

Let's hope we get to see Yi San, Deok Im, Munhyo + Yi San's sister and her family get together scene

I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think it's him. If we go by history, Yi San died in his late forties and this man is older than that. He's also not wearing royal garment. I'm guessing he's Deok Im's brother, older version
