Not just employed, he's too overdue for a lead role! I get so sad for him when he's often forgotten while his Moon Embracing the Sun costars are 3 of the biggest young actors right now. Even his Extraordinary You costars are getting lead roles but not him, when most of them are newbies compared to him who has almost 24 years acting experience. I even went to some illegal difficult to find websites to watch his indie movies (the only productions he's been in where he has lead roles). I just want him to lead a sageuk with Kim Yoo Jung, love their chemistry so much more than the other guy (I love his acting too it’s just I prefer Yoojung with Taeri, the fact that so few people recognize their pairing makes me want them more together) in Moon Embracing Sun everyone else wants her to reunite with. They (him and KYJ) are such a tragic couple not just in Moon Embracing the Sun but Gumiho Tale of the Fox's Child too).
I’m curious, is Deok Im the same as person portrayed as sung song ye on in the old drama detailing the reign…
Song Yeon from Yi San and Deok Im here are based on the same person. I'm not too sure, but based on what I read think Song Yeon in Yi San was named Song Yeon because they didn't have enough records back then and didn't know that Deok Im was her real first name.
Hello. GuyssI want to ask you all here. I'm still confused about one thing. I will edit the cast of The red Sleeve…
I'm not sure what to do, but I did message this person once when I wanted to add a person in a cast. His/her profile says he/she is a volunteer staff at mydramalist: https://kisskh.at/profile/xxmai
I thought it wouldn't be so comical...I like some comedy here and there but it's too comical for me. I need more…
we're only on the first 4 episodes. we see a bit of politics and treachery of some characters already on episode 3. I remember The Princess Man (2011 historical drama) also has some comedy from beginning episodes.
Nice to see Seo Hyo Rim from Sungkyunkwan Scandal and Jang Hee Jin from Flower of Evil here! They are acting really well! Lee Se Young is also the best here in my opinion and I love her chemistry with Lee Jun Ho.
I'm loving this drama. I just hope the ratings get higher. I want more international recognition for historical dramas like this. I wish this was on Netflix.
Folks, Deok-im is not Deok-ro's sister. First of all, he said that she was a young child. Second, he's based on…
I dont even know why some people think Deok ro is Deol Im’s sister. I mean she even stated she might like him when she met him while she gave water to him.
Rewatching now, I realized more than ever the characters in this drama are so crazy. Everyone acted so well though, and Song Joong Ki's chemistry with both Moon Chae Won and Park Shi Yeon are excellent.
Right?? I miss good sageuks!I want to start watching “Red Sleeve”. Hopefully it’s a good sageuk. And I’m…
First two episodes for that is really good for me. The second episode feels like a romcom, but I believe that drama will become more of a melo sageuk as more episodes air.
Agree with everything you said! Idk why people are nitpicking so much on a fictional story based on a King that…
Maybe he didn't remember the woman in the forest? How much time has passed since he met her? She did save his life yes, but at this point in the story he's too in love with Crown Prince Hwi to remember the forest girl. It's different from Dami/Yeonseon who he got to spend time with in the past (plus I think Dami/YeonSeon is a part of his lost innocent childhood, a childhood he lost when he saw his father killed the teenage servant girl). For me, I think forest girl is just a one time crush. Maybe he had short time crushes during his stay in Ming too, I'm sure he's forgotten them now. So this is my reasoning why Ji woon not remembering forest girl in Lee Hwi is perfectly understandable.
I think the writer (or director???) explained that the title is Flower of Evil based on this sentence: "Even when there is evil, flowers can bloom". It describes Do Hyun Soo's character, even though his past is tragic and there's a lot of bad influence around him, he can still be able to live as a genuine good person. The sentence can also describe his marriage to Cha Ji Won, it may have been a marriage that started as a lie (since he married her under another person's identity), but out of that union great love really bloomed for both him and his wife.
Just finished my rewatch. I still love this couple so much. Both leads are really amazing actors and so do the supporting characters. It feels different rewatching this since I already know the drama's secret plot. A rewatch in my experience is good since I was able to pick up minute details that I didn't notice the first time that are essential to the drama's plot.
A must watch documentary. This documentary helped me open my eyes against the Marcos myths my whole family believes. It may appear as biased to some pro-Marcos people (as the people interviewed from the other side almost all belong to the same political party), but it is essential at least for people to do some research based on actual facts while using this documentary as a resource for people to know the actual truth of what happened in the past.
I’m confused too. I think this family tree wasn’t properly explained well or I must have missed it. What I…
Cousin romance was normal among royals even up to 100 years ago. Europe example: The King of Norway in the 1930s and his Queen are first cousins. Even in Queen Seon Deok drama, Kim Yu Shin (one of Deokman's lovers) is her first cousin.
