Is this gonna have a sequel with the prince's story? The way it ended left me with that impression
When I was watching the scene where he was approached by the servant to tell him of palace problems, I was like...."we're on the last 10 minutes of the show".
I have to say, among the three sky dramas of Kim Yoo Jung (Moon Embracing the Sun, Moonlight Drawn by the Clouds, Lovers of the Red Sky, I called them sky because the titles of the dramas scream so), the second male lead here is so lucky for not dying haha
I like it, I'm giving it an 8.5 despite me feeling a bit let down by the plot since I never found drama boring. Despite being a bit let down, I still like the mythology of this drama. The visuals and the imagery (especially those beautiful paintings and sceneries when Haram and Chungi are dating) are really beautiful. Acting is good by most especially by Kim Yoo Jung and Kwak Si Yang. Ahn Hyo Seob is okay, but he really shone in the last 2 episodes (my only complaint against him is he sometimes doesn't act blind). Gong Myung is a bit disappointing (I'm saying this because I feel like an excellent actor with a lot charm could have made his character more memorable). but he was okay in the last 2 or 3 episodes.
OMG ME TOO I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR IT EVERYWHERE ON YOUTUBE BUT HAVEN'T FOUND IT YET.
I like the one you shared thank you, but what I always preferred historical dramas the most are the beautiful instrumentals. For the song in your video, I think they'll release it as an OST later.
I think Secret Garden and Hospital SHIP should not be the basis to judge her acting. People should watch Empress KI, Hwang Ji Ni and Damo (these 3 historical projects are where she excelled the most).
It's an old drama, not a lot of people watch older historical drama (especially historical dramas that aired before…
which is so sad, this is such a superb drama. showing genuine love relationships across ages and gender. shows that you dont need popular idols to show such a beautiful historical drama (this is why it's hard for me to like idol actors no matter how good they are, people watch dramas for them instead of the plot).
The story is not finished, I feel like if they could film the next seasons, there will be more romance. The main…
Yup, I don't expect this drama to be romance focused either, just that I feel like we will at least see some romantic confessions or at least the characters admitting to themselves they love the other. Of course the drama will be more politically driven.
can we stop making cousins love cousins 😠that's so weird
It’s common in history, there were fewer people in the past. The fact that they were royals made it more sense. Even Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip of Britain are third cousins (cousin marriages among young royals today are not as common though, but that happened until like 60 years ago).
Unlike some people, I’m not really disappointed with this drama. I had a vague expectation that the plot is not going to be the most tight and well written (it’s based on the novel by the writer who also wrote Moon Embracing the Sun - a sageuk I find overrated compared to historical dramas that aired some few months before it, I love the costumes there though especially of the child actors). But I’m loving this drama because of Kim Yoo Jung (always excellent in Sageuk, she’s also one of the good parts in Moon Embracing the Sun) plus the cinematography and the fact that this drama feautures Korean painting which makes this a good watch for me.
It's not a bad movie, it's a nice movie to pass about 1 hour and 40 minutes. But I found the plot "meh". The actors are good and I like their chemistry. I like the cinematography and the scenery from this film.
So gooddddd can someone reccomend me dramas similar to this???
If you're a fan of the male lead (Lee Joon Gi) or enjoyed the thrill, crime, and amnesia aspect of the show: 1. Two Weeks --> another thriller drama with Lee Joon Gi as the male lead, he has a daughter in this show and he's also a convicted criminal. There is romance, but the focus of it here is much less than Flower of Evil. If you like Penthouse, Kim So Yeon is also in this show as a prosecutor 2. Time Between Dog and Wolf --> if you want another Lee Joon Gi drama where he has double identities and has amnesia, this is the show to watch. It's from 2007, but his acting here is so good I think his acting here is the best aside from Flower of Evil (I haven't seen Moon Lovers yet so I don't know how his acting there compares) If you're a fan of the female lead (Moon Chae Won) or enjoyed the strong chemistry and believable romance of the couple in this show: 1. The Innocent Man - features Song Joong Ki as the male lead. Like this drama, Chae Won plays a woman who falls in love with a man without knowing his background/past. Man's love for her is a lie at first before he realizes his feelings for her are real. Female lead also confronts her lover after knowing the truth. Drama also contains amnesia (This is the fan favorite of most Moon Chae Won fans before Flower of Evil though I preferred The Princess's Man) 2. The Princess's Man - sageuk/historical. Both this drama and Flower of Evil contains love stories that are impossible (criminal and detective in Flower of Evil, children of rival families in Princess's Man). Like Flower of Evil, Chae Won's character in The Princess's Man is someone who is very protective and defensive of her lover.
Such a good show, kept me at the edge of my seat. I shipped Tae San and In Hye, but the final episode isn't super clear. Will she end up with him or the detective?
Happy Birthday lovely Queen Inhyeon from Dongyi, currently watching Two Weeks, you're so pretty. I'm happy you and Ryu Soo Young (also from Two Weeks) are a real couple, but I want your character to end up with Lee Joon Gi's character in Two Weeks
Are you referring to the death of the twin brother? I just think those are essential to move the plot forward.....I…
Yes, but ,most probably in the later episodes. I consider the first two episodes as foundational to the story, and those deaths are essential to establish the leads characterizations.
