She comes with food, he is drunk and perhaps under the opium or some kind of poison that 4th consort gave him earlier out of that blue square container - THT IS WHY HE STARTED GOING DIZZY AND FALLING - So he is all fallen down drunk she comes to bring food and help him, and so she comes too close :) and then he grabs her, puts her down, he says lay here still for a while, then they stare at each other for a while and he then goes into action, starts kissing her and his hands go south
Since he didnt give her an option to refuse or accept his invitation, and she is scared of him bc he owns her and always threatens her , her eyes are rather big in fear.... and he grabs her by surprise, this is technically a rape.
The curtain goes down and we dont know what happened next and if somehow the situation became a positive intimate encounter for her. Perhaps it was since her eyes were closed... ?
Perhaps he fixed his grab by surprise... or botched it even more.... or he could have fallen asleep too :)

HE SHOWS A LOT OF INTEREST. PPL AROUND HIM NOTICED... that's why that slimey helper switched sides tp help FL instead of 4th witch!!!! THE HELPER EXPLAINED KINGS FEELINGS AND BEHAVIORS VERY WELL, and how his heart is captured by FL. Also watch the 4th evil - she is super annoyed with FL bc she knows the King and knows he fell in love with FL.
King asks FL to feed him. He looks at her. She looks back. She sent him thumbs up :) She KNOWS he is on her side. THat is why she feels encouraged to risk her life and ask him to not cut arms etc.

In Picture Perfect, Jen Aniston notices photographer Nick when he asks her how many spoons of sugar she takes in her coffee...
So, the King knows he wants FL but she did not have a chance to think about it. He scares her too much bc he always threatens her to kill her and has not balanced it enough with being nice to her. She doesnt trust him yet. AND FOR A GOOD REASON!!! he is too fickle and unreliable, still...
before he grabbed her down, he should have said something like - I like you - and gave her some time to soak it in before responding... . Otherwise he may come off as a booty call in a drunken and drugged state. Bc he was in that drunken drugged state bc 4th witch poisoned him too.

Also he has this duty to sleep around to produce male babies.... so ... FL will have to live with that.... and no doubt she is not gonna like it. But now, in love and with someone who is willing to tell him the truth and help him grow, the King might transform fast.
So when he grabbed FL down without giving her any option to bail out, which technically is a rape - we need to see the next scenes to find out what it really was... - bc we dont know what happened in the next moment when the curtain went down - if he did a good job in being affectionate and sincere in his own way when he grabbed her, if he allowed her space and deeply expressed his love ... IF he was showing her love, giving her attention, care, respect and tenderness in a safe way, perhaps she registered it. I am sure she eventually will register it because otherwise that book would not exist to call her back to him.
We will see... this is tricky bc this is a past era super sexist, he is a king and so he a spoiled entitled brat and lalso a serial killer...
In any case, wanting or not, she is now in his bed, and that means 4th evil will try to kill her and ppl might gossip badly about him

That is the deep deep part of this drama, his inability to solve his grief without hurting the country, he is too selfish and thinks of his grief first before he thinks what the country needs

So then he kicks everyone out and keeps her, then grabs her, yanks her down and goes on top, his hands going south. The curtain drops. SO WHAT HAPPENED THERE?
Might be an unpopular opinion but so far I'm enjoying this more than Mr Queen
yeah bc it is more alive and ... "clean"? I dont know to describe it... Mr. Queen was an old foggy, quite stuck and crude. Here, FL is smart and capable and confident and TOTALLY HILARIOUS with her 21st century thoughts speech and actions. She is an amazing comedian and the character has more integrity and more POSITIVE initiative than Mr. Queen, so it is "fresher", and also having her friend the other girl is very enlivening too and also the King is comical too, he bounces off from FL. Unless he is tyranical - those scenes are heavy but made lighter through the comedy
