It's very interesting to see all these male centered watchers complain that my girl Tian Xi Wei has a little bit…
Haha so what if people prioritize romance while watching their dramas? No need to be a rigid-minded brat about it. People can have feelings about the ML having little screen time and about the leads not having scenes together 😒They can ALSO care about Changyu’s growth. It doesn’t have to be one or the other, so stop being so black and white and making sweeping generalized statements about other viewers.
Ahhh I think I’m gonna have to save up more episodes before watching any more. I stopped at 19 after she told her parents that she’s going on a long journey. With all of the angst, divorce letters, separation, secret-keeping and then the angry fallout from that in 27, I will probably pick the drama back up after the lead’s romantic relationship is established. It’s too much right now and my brain becomes obsessive can’t relax when things continue to be left unsettled. 😵💫
Oh I totally agree 💯Like she will be literally the last person on earth who didn’t know 🤦🏼♀️😬I’m not the biggest fan either, but I don’t hate this secret-keeping as much as I hated it in other shows (like litc),
There’s a lot of reasons why he could be. The actor posted earlier today (I think) that XZ became afraid that the FL would leave him because their relationship is already in a difficult place and he was afraid of making it worse.
Others speculate that Zheng didn’t want Changyu to treat him differently if she knew.
Some have suggested that it has something to do with Zheng’s investigation 🤷🏼♀️
It’s left kinda open. Apparently he still deceives her for a bit in the novel as well.
