Hahahahah luckily for me I had a whole weekend to myself when I first watched it. I remember reading the synopsis, seeing the arranged marriage plot line and was like SOLD. Binged it for two days straight 🤣 Best decision I’ve made this year hahaha. Ended up being my favorite Asian show. I’ve been watching nothing but K & C dramas for almost a year now, but after TPoB I haven’t been able to break out of historical Chinese shows 🤭It’s been like six months since I’ve watched a Kdrama, outside of Alchemy of Souls.

I stopped at like episode 32 😇 Knew what was coming, so I quit after they escaped the cave LOL

Yeah I have tapered off LITC. Could no longer stand the lying. It stopped making sense to me after episode 13. I just have it on in the background while I work and just tune in when the leads have a scene. Another example of how a show can have high ratings and I’m over here in my little corner like I hate a lot of this show and just watch for the visuals 🙃

I also think that Who Rules the World may fit what you’re looking for. Can’t remember if there was a lot of skinship in it, but flirty and independent leads, and some pretty big name actors in it. 😊

Yeah that was the minor drawback for LoSL for me. Didn’t like him shutting her out and locking her in the room at the end, and I also got frustrated with them keeping secrets from each other when they were hanging out at that little fishing village lol. I hate secret keeping and not communicating so much so why tf did I pick up LITC 🤣I blame myself.
