I finished this drama more than a month ago and is still suffering withdrawals. Anyone have a good drama to recommend…
Moonlight Mystique (same actor for ML). There’s also The Prisoner of Beauty, but it takes them a bit to catch the feels for each other - it’s an enemies to lovers with an arranged marriage. After the trust develops, they’re a freaking POWERHOUSE.
Ohhhhh nooooooo she’s only 17?! So does this mean no kissing / sensuality in a show about romance?????? Who tf casted this? An arranged marriage is my favorite trope 😭I’m so bummed! I have nothing against the actress as I’ve seen her in other stuff, but just… not for this one 😔
I don't like the second act, but SJ made it worth it...
Yeah the villains were dumb 😂 But SJ and TY were SO SO GOOD! The romance was perfect. The chemistry, the sensuality, all of the “cultivating” 😉 They’re amazing.

SJ makes the show as amazing as it is. The second act hurt to watch with the angst, but it was also incredibly sweet. Makes me a little sad that after all that, SJ did end up having his blood harvested against his will.
The scene where FL shoots at the carriage takes place about two weeks to a month after she shot the ML. The one…
Yeah. I mean there’s enemies to lovers, but then there is hating and brutally-torturing-each-other enemies to lovers 😅It’s a bit tough for me to swallow. I do see what you’re saying about the ML being petty as I think about it. As a general he should know that she was totally playing fair by shooting him. But also as a general, SHE should know that she cost him a war and he retaliated against her for it. Why retaliate back? Both of them are generals and get how war works. Maybe I am just not feeling the petty power struggles and the use of torture. 🤷🏼♀️

Oh yeah she for sure did have the right to shoot him! Not saying that she didn’t at all, but just that I understood more why he would retaliate than why she would do tit for tat. 🤷🏼♀️ Not a big deal for me, but it’ll be interesting to see how they pull a love story out of this. I am struggling a little with shipping them at this moment. And if the ML and FL are both petty and using physical torture to be petty, especially if they also like each other, I’m not sure I like that much better 😂
Second episode and we already get some rolling around in a bed? Heck yeah 😂 Outside of the CGI being a bit more difficult for me to swallow than other shows, I’m enjoying it so far. I love how cute and flirty she was when he was taking a bath 🥰

🤦🏼♀️ Aaahhhh I see. I remember the comments now that were made about the painting. Since I am not far into it, I plan on starting over with my partner to watch it with me sometime this weekend. With my first time watching shows I tend to miss a lot of details, as I am trying to focus on who all of the characters are. I’ll watch for the things you pointed out this time, but in my mind him going after her in the beginning made more sense to me than her seeking petty revenge when she shot him in the first place 🤷🏼♀️ I hope that this tit for tat torture doesn’t continue forever.

But she cost him the war??? Him torturing her made sense to me. She shot him, he almost died and then lost the war. The FL was just being petty with her revenge imo 🙄 I wasn’t into it. Would have made more sense if she got some of her memories back and needed information from him or something.

She was shot two weeks to a month later? 😵💫But then how did they have that scene in episode one when both the ML and the FL were getting treated by doctors for their chest wounds at the same time? I was a little confused with that as well as the all of the character dumping in the first episode. It’s gonna take me a bit to get all of these characters straight. I like it a lot so far, but I am curious to see how they pull a love story out of this 😂 I am only on episode 3, and it’s kinda brutal between the leads 🫣
So I want to make sure that I am understanding the sequence of events in the first episode since that’s what they’re trying to figure out — First, I am a little confused with the Prince being shot in the first episode. It looked initially like he dodged the arrow that the FL shot, but he was hit right after with that second arrow. So was he shot by the FL in the beginning and she just rapidly fired two arrows? Or is the person who actually shot the Prince supposed to be a mystery? Secondly, I was also a little confused by what happened to the FL. If I am understanding right, the FL was chasing the empty carriage the Prince was in (not knowing that he had jumped out). So when the empty carriage reached the cliff and tumbled over, the FL was also shot off the cliff. She initially thought that the Prince shot her, when he did not, correct? I just want to make sure I am understanding what they are trying to figure out. I am only a couple episodes in, been busy. Not sure how I feel about her taking revenge on him in the woods 🙄 Him torturing her for answers made sense because she cost him the war. She just seemed to be petty in taking revenge in the woods 🙄
Into episode 2… *side eyes* Y’all sure there’s no love triangle with the FL and the dude who wanted to give her the betrothal bracelet that she clearly had some feels for? 😒
