Realization about his ending

YES! She found out Lin Qi is alive and realized Han Shuo doesn't necessarily have to end up with the same ending as she wrote. 👏😮‍💨And I love how he tries to be all cold and ruthless with her because of how she lied to him and pushed him away, but he loves her so much that it all just comes across like a sweet little comedy. I really loved his little sigh of relief that he was able to restrain himself. DYX has done the same thing in other dramas and it's always so cute! 🤭To be fair, I don't understand why Pei Heng is so determined in his attempts to save Qianqian. She has told him so many times that she doesn't want it, nor does she need saving, but he still keeps doing it again and again. 🙄🤦‍♀️

Yep, exactly what I thought. She can't push him out of the story if he has been a core element in it the whole time. And through her actions she has only made things worse, because now all he has on his mind is vengeance. Oh, Qianqian, you silly girl...🤦‍♀️I was right — Lin Qi didn't die! I'm hoping for her to go after Chuchu now! 🤞And wait, what? Yuanyuan can stand up just like that? I didn't see any scene where she was actually trying to treat her legs... I am disappointed

I am very disappointed in Qianqian. They literally just agreed they would never make decisions alone, and she even said how much she disliked Su Mu sacrificing his and Yuanyuan's relationship for that supposed greater good. Very hypocritical. And what upsets me most is that Han Shuo adores her to the core and wants to fulfil every single one of her wishes, yet she treats him like this in return... I know it's to save his life, but I am quite sure she won't succeed, and the outcome might be way worse than if he'd "stayed in the plot". And how does she even imagine pushing Han Shuo out of the story will play out? He loves her, so he will want to get answers, which means he will stay until she gives them. 😞And I honestly don't want to believe Lin Qi actually died... Maybe she's just gravely injured, and will survive and be the one to turn the tables in the end by going against Chuchu for trying to assassinate her? I can only hope so. 🥺

This was so intense

The library scene was so intense... I felt every move Xingtang made to escape, and her anxiety rising with each path getting cut until there was nowhere to run. 🫣 But kudos to Jinqi for the clever trap to get out of the unwanted marriage! 👏But I don't blame Xingtang for being that bitter and having all her outbursts. She lived a bit of a miserable life. Yes, it wasn't a life-or-death struggle, but it was a different kind of misery. She was shackled by her own family, married off while loving another man—with them knowing about it and hiding it from the new husband—suffering a miscarriage and losing the ability to ever have children again, and in the end, her lover turning his back on her while she was protecting him. I have no idea what will happen to her life now. 😔However, I am super anxious about whether Xiaolian and Lanxiang will get caught or not. 😟😬

They were sneaking so their aides wouldn't see them... really? 🤭 I loved watching them be so affectionate with each other. This is what I want to see from now on... no more misunderstandings between our leads, please! 🙏🥰Lu Peng accidentally eavesdropping on the City Owner and Chuchu — what is he gonna do with that info? He looked afraid. AND why did Su Mu still choose to walk away from Yuanyuan even knowing how bad Lu Peng is? That's the difference when someone does or doesn't have feelings for someone else. The one who does will always try to make the supposedly right and less selfish choice, even if in truth it's far from the best. 😔

Plot changes, confessions and the rise of villains

Qianqian finally telling Han Shuo that she likes him made my day. Those words really lifted him up! 😌🤗 And to be fair, I think whatever he and his men are going to set fire to won't be explosives, but something else. He looked way too enthusiastic and happy about it for it to be a demolition. ☝️🫣Su Mu avoiding Yuanyuan and trying to fade from her life because of the difference in their status really upset me. She doesn't care about public opinion on this matter — all she cares about is what her heart wants... I hope the other musician who is now supposed to become Yuanyuan's husband will somehow help those two to find their happiness. 😞🥺Chuchu has officially entered her villain arc. She even tried to kill/injure Qianqian, but I am relieved she understood that and I can only hope she will become more cautious with her. And, honestly, her desire to have Han Shuo for herself feels a bit forced to me. He never really showed any signs that he would be interested in her... Maybe the weird feeling comes from the fact that there's a reverse gender authority system. 😥I didn't like the bracelet concept and using it as a lifelong shackle, but it worked perfectly as an instrument for Qianqian to realize her story has changed and might not follow the same plot she wrote anymore. 🤨

When they announced the Young Master was coming to meet the Young Madam, my mind went crazy and I held my breath... Then the seals fell out of the box... That whole scene was so tense. It felt like a perfect moment for him to somehow notice her, but no... It wasn't time yet. 😬🫣 And now she's earned some favour and gratitude with the Young Madam for hiding the one he was looking for, and I can only wonder how far Jialan will be able to get with that favour. 🤔But the story the opera singer told Xiaolian doesn't allow me to relax. Is that what's going to happen when Jinqi discovers the whole truth about the account books and his wife's lover? 😟 Also, considering Jialan is investigating the same thing, I assume that is what will bring her onto Jinqi's radar. And I can't wait for it to happen! 🫣With the new lady entering the Lin residence, I see her as a potential rival for Jinqi's heart and the status of his wife. Could she potentially be more of a villain than Zhao Xingtang ever was? Will have to decide when they show her to us. 🤨But they are definitely not holding back on the tension! Even when showing just daily routines or casual conversations between Jialan and the other two girls, I have an uneasy feeling in the background that none of them are safe and they could easily become victims in their masters' game at any moment. I really hope nothing bad happens to any of them! 🙏🥺

Ji'er didn't listen and that was her mistake. There's really no one to blame but her. At least she was quick enough to realize what she had to say to escape death. 😮‍💨 I didn't really like the Lv family, mostly because of how they treated Jialan when she was still living with her parents, but I never expected their fate would be like this... 🫣They fooled me well with Qian Shaoze. I was sitting there thinking — does Zhao Xingtang have a secret romance with a woman? I had to check because that person sounded like a man. And it is a male actor! So it's a male cousin who's disguised as a woman so Xingtang could do all the stuff she does with him without raising any suspicion! That disguise is so well made... 😯 To be fair, I kind of feel pity for Zhao Xingtang — she's the victim of the Lin and Zhao family elders who decided she and Jinqi had to marry. Her life is miserable in many aspects, and I can completely understand her choices there. 😔The Xu family, as always, brought me to tears. They don't even have to do much — it's enough to see how they worry about their daughter. 🥹🤧But now Jialan will have to dress up to possibly catch Jinqi's eye... She didn't look anywhere near okay with that possibility. His family is the reason why her family is dead and why she almost died too... 😟 Yet, I still can't wait for him to see AND notice her. 🫣

She disappeared from his life suddenly without a trace, yet some clues were still there for him to follow if he ever chose to. She let Lumi know where she was and what she was doing, and even had a work-related deal with Lime through her. I think Zhitao knew that this would mean she would eventually meet Nian, and that was her way of leaving the door ajar...🥺His heartbreak scenes, especially the one with the Northern Lights, were beautifully painful to watch. It affected me far more than anything that happened in the previous episode. But it was needed. He had to realise what he had lost and what she and their relationship actually meant to him. 💔😢His words, "I don't deserve to be loved", threw me back to the episode where he wrote on the typewriter, "You don't have to be perfect to be worthy of love", showing perfectly how it had always been for him. A heavily flawed man who wanted to be loved, yet didn't know how to love in return. 😔

She finally realised she likes him!

She has finally realised she has feelings for him! 🤗 But I get why she pushes him away. She compared them to Huayuan and Xuanhu — two completely different worlds that were never meant to meet. She thinks their love is doomed, because she has to return to the real world at some point and Han Shuo will remain nothing more than a fictional character in a story she wrote. That means only one thing — there is no chance they can have a happy ending and stay together for the rest of their lives. 😥But I do hope Xiaoqian realises soon that she has become the main heroine of her story and she's the one who has to see it through to the end, not Chuchu, who is gradually becoming more and more of an antagonist. 😔
