IrenaK Lyu Ruhui survived that fall? Whaaat? That's a twist! 😯But, the moment the second brother entered the house I had a feeling their scheme was compromised. The brother was there to mess with it, and I have no idea how they will get out of this. 😳As for the Zhang Dancheng twist — who would have thought his master was the one who set up the scheme that killed Jiaxian's family? Only, he hadn't planned it to be poison, but just a knockout potion... hmm, who changed it then? 🤯Honestly, I thought Blind Du would be way harder to take down, but now he's already gone. But that only raises questions for me about the Sect Master... Have we met him in maybe another disguise? How hard will it be to find out who he is? And how hard will it be to take that person down? (I am assuming it's a man, but as easily the Sect Master could be a woman too) 🤔Another good episode, really. Twists and truths mingling together. The pace is good and the story is quite interesting. Them mentioning Nanyang so many times in this episode just brought back memories of Archives: The Nanyang Mystery. Hehe, if only they shared the same universe. 😌

Her showing him her way was something a bit different from what I expected. I thought she would tell him her true identity now, but I guess it isn't time yet. My next guess regarding this is that she might reveal it after she has cleared the Shen family's name, which will very likely happen in one of the last episodes. 🤔But, honestly, I was a bit disappointed with the time skips which altogether covered almost three years, and my guess here is that it was the director's choice of how to cover for that enormous amount of episodes they had to cut (68 down to 47 is a lot). 😞 With those few scenes we got, it showed how much closer Jinqi and Lanxiang have become over those years. They actually consummated their marriage finally and are even expecting their firstborn now! 🤗 Such a wonderful journey of love, but sadly we didn't get to see much of it... 😔But what made me the saddest was Jinlan's death. I knew that dreadful moment was looming, but I hoped it would still come later than it did... At least he saw his son born. 😢🤧

The premise is interesting, but the main guy is a little bit too goofy for my taste. BUT that does mean there's a lot of room for character development. 😌Love the pink-haired Grim Reaper from hell. She has aura! 🤩P.S. Sorry, I haven't remembered any names yet...

This was a very interesting scheme. I don't know how those other guys knew Lyu Ruhui was in on this to help reveal Tianxiang Sect's scheme and punish the scammers, but it worked perfectly. My guess is because of Master Jin, or maybe somehow also Feiyan. She revealed herself to Jiaxian and is involved with Commander Feng, and I still think she had real feelings for her "husband", so it all somehow clicks this way to me. But we'll see. 😅Liang kind of seems like that silly sidekick main characters usually have in C-dramas, but I don't want to fully trust him yet. Maybe he really is what we see of him, but I will still remain a bit cautious with him. 🤨As for Blind Du not being blind... it really makes sense! He knew too much of what happened around. And I was right... right? He knew Jiaxian is the guy they scammed those eight years ago, because he said if he knew this would happen, he should have killed him back in Longxuya. It's the place where he lived with his family, right? 🫣But interesting thing is that he would want his nephew and if he could, himself too, to escape from the Tianxiang Sect. Could there be more to his story then? Probably. P.S. Commander Feng gave me the impression of being a craaaaazy person.

So, it was revenge for Ji's death... But it does make sense, actually. And, oh, Ji is now a Nour too. Chita feeding him blood and him finally transforming completely was such a sensual and, dare I say, erotic scene, but in a very dark and disturbing way. 😳Poor Tangme... She deserved way better. 😢 And now Ken acting against James, because he needs Chita alive so he can finally die... James won't forgive Ken for either of those actions, so I expect the next episode to be emotionally tough. 😟

It won't be easy to take down Blind Du. Even if he's blind, it impossible to hide anything from him I wouldn't be surprised if he even knew it's not the real Lyu Ruhui who just joined his branch. 🫣 And I don't know why, but I am not really trusting Silly Liang either. He's chill, but he could as easily be a spy to keep an eye on "Lyu Ruhui". 🤨But what I am most excited about is that Feiyan is nearby. I want to see how them seeing each other will go. And I am quite sure she will recognize him, but will she be a threat to his alias? 🫢And my personal opinion is that Master Jin is the most skilled of them all. 😅

Finally, their deepest secrets are coming to light! And I love the way how they are doing it. 🤗 Him taking her to the Shen family grave so she could see him for who he really is and what choices he has made in the past even if they are something he could pay with his life. Yet, he never knew how much it would mean to her... And on top of that, it's Jialan's birthday! 🥹🤧 It does feel like it's not only her birthday, but also will be the day of her rebirth... She will tell her story to Jinqi through the play and he will know who she is, and maybe then, without secrets between them anymore, they can finally find their happiness together. 🥰I really loved how they kowtowed three times to the graves and a man's voice in the background said: "First, bow to Heaven and Earth. Second, bow to the parents. Husband and wife, bow to each other." And now they are properly married. 🥹❤️This last part of the episode was everything I waited for! ☺️

Finally, the full story of how he got on the path of revenge against Tianxiang's sect. And he even found a shifu who has been part of the sect... A perfect person from whom to learn how to take them down. 😌But I do wonder what has happened to Feiyan and how soon they will meet again. And he got a very important lead — the name of the city where to look for the blind fortune teller Mr. Du (could he be that prophet the title is about, maybe?). 🤔

Did I notice two more possible couples? Yes, I did! 🤗 Han Liang for the first time prioritizing another woman over Lanxiang says a lot. I hope he'll finally stop thinking about her (because I drew a very long sigh when he volunteered to go search for her). Nanke and Xiaolian are kind of making sense too. For some time I have wondered if the plot has any romance in store for either of them. If it does, then this is a great start for that to happen! 😊But one thing really made me wonder. If Lanxiang organizes the burial of Xia Zhao's ex-wife, could it be that the woman gets buried somewhere where everyone without relatives is? And maybe even the Shen family could be buried there? I can't think of ways for her to find her buried family or for her to reveal her true identity to Jinqi if there isn't something that would push that plot. This could be such a push.... no? 🤔

Those schemes are so insane. Especially the one the ML fell for. Who would believe that any fortune could get a soul back? 🤨But who was the one crying in the "sister's" body? Was it the sister herself or maybe Feiyan? I do think she actually liked the ML. She does look very pensive sometimes when they feed lies on top of lies to him. But she's bound to their sect and that scheme, so she couldn't really do anything for him to escape it. 😔Also, I am super confused by which of all those names I should call the ML. I guess his real name is Wang Jiaxian (at least that's what he is called in the flashbacks), then there's Lin Shengxiang, which is his alias for the sect's scheme against Mr. Chen, and another alias, Lv Rihui, whom he is using to infiltrate the sect (it was the name of the guy he threw out of the train in ep1). But then there's the name Shangguan Chengming, which is written in as the ML's name, but I have never heard anyone call him that. Why? 🤔🤯

He definitely loves her even more now after everything that happened to Xiulan and in court. So, when I saw Han Liang on a horse parading through the streets with all the other scholars, and Lanxiang smiling at him, I felt bad for Jinqi. He always looks at her with those warm eyes, while she smiled at the scholar in a way she never has at Jinqi... 🥺 Him taking her hand so she would look away from the scholar and at him was a completely reasonable and justified reaction, in my opinion. 😔I really loved the ending scene. How he lured her into his room by pretending to be in pain and they talked. 🤭🤗 I was a bit worried when she said that Prince Han wants to rebel like his father. But I hope it won't go anywhere and there will be no consequences... There were just the two of them and no one heard it, right? 😳Him questioning how she could have knowledge of courts and laws that even the greatest scholars might not know felt like we could get closer to him finding out her real identity, but she got out of that situation quite well by saying it's because of plays. However, in truth I know most of it she learned while she was still Shen Jialan. 🫣

Social media is a way too powerful tool and can destroy lives easily. There are so many people who believe whatever they read, see, or hear, and their ignorance is what others can weaponize through social media by giving them fake news and posting fake allegations. 😔I really like and respect how TYAL touches on these tough themes and shows us these situations, which, as I read somewhere, are based on real-life cases. 👍As for the drama in this story, currently it does look like there is a group of politicians who want Choi Gang-seok to lose his post as Minister of Education, but for the moment I am not sure if they might succeed. But they are also using the powerful tool of social media to sow these doubts in people, so who knows... 🤨🤷♀️And about Im Han-rim, I can only agree — she really is a nutcase! 😅I knew they would deal with that girl somehow, but damn, she was so scary and such a sociopath. And to think she live-streamed lessons... Is that even allowed somewhere? I believe it's illegal everywhere... no? 🫣

I hope I got it right. He fell for Feiyan, but she and her "family" (the sect) tricked him, which resulted in I'm not sure what, but now he wants to take revenge for something and is trying to infiltrate that sect to take them down from the inside (by possibly killing them all)? 🤔President Zhao and his daughter are probably just tools for his mission, right? Because the FL is another girl, not the president's daughter. 🤨I loved the intro song, though... such a groove 😅

I knew Lanxiang would find a way to free Ji'er and Xiaopu, and she even earned enough respect from Xingtang in the process for her to want them to become business partners. 😌 But Lanxiang has other plans — she wants to write scripts for plays... Which seems to be something a noble lady apparently shouldn't do. 🫤But I loved how sincere and warm the goodbye was that Ji'er and the girls gave Lanxiang, and how she made sure they had enough money. 🥹No, those are not tears... 🤧

I wonder how come Ken had never seen a rainbow before... Didn't he see any when he was still human and could see all the colours? I know it's been 200 years, but still... 🤔 But it worked for a romantic scene, though. 🙂And the Nour who can kill others was Chita... OMG! There were theories circling around, but I still didn't want to believe any of them with certainty. 😯 But now they are both going after him, yet somehow I have a feeling that something may go wrong and Ken and James might have to return to their conversation about whether to turn James into a Nour... 🫣And now again — I have to wait a week. 😞
