I quite savour the little mess Fei's old workplace has now when she's not there anymore. 🤭 And to be fair, I don't want her to go back there. Instead, I want her to join some rival company and beat her old one, so they realise what a treasure they threw away just because some niece asked her uncle! 🔥 So to say—a little payback for not valuing her enough. 😤Once again, I completely loved Jingjing—she can give the best advice. And I am so happy for her own happy moment! 🥰Yifei's lack of any household skills... 🙄 khm. I already see where they can help each other to improve. 😉 And those little continuous acts of care? They are so cute! Love to watch how they slowly grow closer. 🤗💖P.S. Sad for the parents. 🥺

Oh, I kind of love how we are getting back to the Evil God and its statues! 🤩 It makes it feel like all of it is completely connected, not just consequential. And there's a possibility to treat Zhang Haixia and get him back to normal! I couldn't be happier... really! 🥹🎉 The only things worrying me with the cure are that Haiqi is dying, there isn't much time left, and no one else really knows the recipe... yet, at least. ⏳ And secondly, it's the same question I had before about Haixia's conscience if he gets back to normal. Oh, I am so excited and worried at the same time! 🫣 nervously-excitedHailou taking the bride's place... 🤭 Can't wait for tomorrow's episode! P.S. And now I am double-guessing my previous thoughts about Haixia himself. Considering how he looked at that dead man in the cafe, maybe his killing is not as controlled as I thought. But those men brought it upon themselves... I knew Haixia would do something to them the moment they started trash-talking Hailou. 😮💨

Hmm, why does it look like Haixia is quite in control of his dark side? He's still dark, no doubt about it, but I think he is actually looking for a way to treat his dark ways. "No matter what happens, you'll leave a fallback plan for me too, right, Hailou?" — when he said this, he looked more pensive than disappointed. I am not sure whether it was a good sign or not, though. 🤔I think Haixia maybe has accepted his fate and now just walks around like a dark guardian angel for Hailou, making sure he makes it out alive in the end. It's like a personal redemption arc he has going on. 🤔🤧And the story about Priest Su Yu brings me hope—maybe there really is a way to help Haixia? This leads me to what I heard about them having three possible endings prepared for this show. Maybe one of the options is where Haixia actually gets cured or learns to restrain his urges, so he can live a somewhat normal life? But then the question is—what would Haixia's conscience say about that? Would he be able to live peacefully and be okay with what he has done? 🥺The Little Taoist and the Chief of Phoenix Stronghold... tsk tsk tsk! 🤭😏

Yifei actually was very mature about his break-up, and to be fair, I prefer the way it was ended in this episode. He was reasonable and had considered her well-being a lot after they ended things. I think Fei actually looked at him differently during that scene. 👀 And Lili crying after that? Well, girl, you've been asking for it for a very long time already... 🙄 I wonder if her tears were sudden regret over her choice? 🤷♀️I kind of already like Jun and Fei's bartender friend. They both are into games, he likes her mixology skills, and they both are friends to one of our leads... Could that be potential for a second couple? We'll see! 🤭😉 And, OMG, those parents—selling the gear he used half a year to get... As someone who plays video games too, I know how awful that could be! 😧Fei's worry about Yifei after his break-up was nice, and him trying to find ways to give her some money... 🥹 They already try to help each other genuinely and sincerely. It's so nice to watch these little acts of care. 🥰💖

Wow, I take my words back about the girlfriend! She's not good in any way—not even for comedy. 🤦♀️ She flirts with men left and right (which I actually noticed in previous episodes too), and Yifei kind of knows, yet chooses to pretend it's all work-related. Maybe it is, but is it, really? 🤷♀️ And then she chooses to break up with him suddenly by asking a third party to do it? Talk about cowardice! 🙄 To be fair, I think the real reason was Yifei's lack of money and luxury, not the picture of him and Fei in the car. BUT, the bright side—the apartment now will be just for the two of them! 🤗Thankfully, Yifei took it somewhat calmer than his predicted reaction foretold. 😌 I actually kind of enjoy his little childish side too—playing with planes while alone in his room, the way he enjoys Fei's cooking, and even him trying to steal some... 🤗 Sometimes he's petty and can be quite annoying, but overall I quite enjoy his character. Someone called him a "grumpy white knight", and I must agree, he kind of is! 😌😂The reason for Fei's layoff wasn't entirely clear to me—was it because of the mean, jealous colleague, or maybe because of the picture? Or maybe even something else? 🤔I do enjoy how both leads are starting to care about each other's well-being, even if it's still only on a micro-level. 🤗 And we've already had a few face-to-face, eyes-meeting moments! 🤭

I already love the side characters. I absolutely adore how fiery Jing Jing is—a perfect best friend—Qian Fei's ride or die! ❤️🤩 Li Yifei's friends are funny; I especially enjoyed the one who gave money to pay for her phone, Jun Cheng. At first, I wanted to comment that Yifei's girlfriend is very spoiled and that I don't like her because of the way she evaluated Fei's apartment, but she came around. She brings great comedy to the apartment life, and the best part is that she did her job perfectly to act as a bridge for our main characters, making them share an apartment. 😂 "You didn't ask if I have a boyfriend." Lol 🤣Yifei always happens to be around when Fei is in quite troublesome situations... Yeah, call it fate, no? 🤭😉

How they randomly kept bumping into each other! 🤭 And he actually thought she was stalking him.Are they working in rival companies? I only caught that it was something to do with investment banking. 🤔Her boyfriend is really not worth staying with—he chooses his career OVER her, wants to sell the apartment HER father bought, and clearly values money over anything else... 🙄 I hope she gets over him quickly. 😔And of course—Tan Jianci! 🤗❤️P.S. I already had heard that the boyfriend is AI made, but will it be just for couple of episodes or longer?

Oh, Haixia... back on a killing spree? I get the guards chasing Hailou and the gang, but children and other innocents? 😢🫢 I just hope he didn't kill Hot Pot and his boys. 😟 The face Hailou had when looking at the pile of bodies left by Haixia... he's so worried about his brother and his condition. 🥺I enjoyed the comedy and adventure elements this episode gave with all the sneaking and running—and oh, how I missed that wonderful chaos Hailou can create from scratch! 😌😂👏 Him getting a legendary weapon was yet another thing I particularly enjoyed. I guess the bow didn't shoot the first time because it only obeys its true master, a bond that is found through blood. That's why Hailou's blood kind of activated the weapon, even though he hasn't tried using it again. And are we getting a romantic couple after all? The Phoenix Stronghold chief and "Thousand-men Army"? They were funny and cute, actually. 🤭😂🤗

Haixia meeting Hailou and Haiqi was enough to bring him closer back to the light! 😌 I already had a hunch that he was just infiltrated and didn't want to be Mo Yungao's adjutant just for killing's sake! And now at least I know what will go wrong with Mo Yungao's predicted conditions for his success—Haixia is no sacrificial lamb, hehehe... 🤭I kind of like the addition of that guy called "Thousand-men Army" (did I remember correctly?). 🤗 And I finally remembered where I've seen the actor before! DFQC's brother in LBFAD. ☝️Bailejing village's "threshold", if I can call it that, was reaaaaaaly creeeeeepy. I was really scared for a moment about what was going to happen to our team... 🫢

Haixia has such a villain aura already... And those grey strands in his hair? Looks gorgeous, I must say. 🥺🖤He now just walks around easily killing everyone, so much so that it's devastating to watch. 💔 BUT, I think he's not gone yet. I noticed the watch on his wrist, and I can only guess whether it's the one with the hermit crab he left on the table some episodes ago. If it is, could it possibly serve as a beacon in the consuming darkness to help him stay on his task and remind him of who he actually is? 🧐I know he's not devoted to Mo Yungao, because he looks at him and some of his men quite annoyed, even desiring to finally kill them. 😒⚔️ Maybe he just uses them to get to Bailejing and then get rid of them? 🤷♀️The moment he and Hailou noticed each other through the crack in the floor was so heartbreaking. 😭🤧 Haixia's face was just washed over with a mixed expression of joy, longing, guilt, and self-loathing. He's sane enough to know what path he's walking, and that's nothing he would want Hailou to see. However, him helping Hailou and their group to stay unnoticed and sending the guards the other way will cost him dearly... 🤐 Mo Yungao observed all of this "betrayal" from a distance through binoculars... I know Haixia is capable and craving to kill, but I am still worried about what this will bring upon him. 😰

I waited all episode to see how Haixia is doing and, oh boy—he has become Mo Yungao's adjutant... 😨 Now they will wreak havoc and cause mass murder together... 🥺😰I guess this episode was more or less about a month after Haiqi got sick, so that explains why some things have changed. But I must thank Haiqi and Hailou for their travel to Bailejing. It gave a little lighter, adventurous vibe, letting me put aside for a moment all the worry I have for Haixia's growing darkness and tragic arc. 😔🙏Hailou becoming the next Director of Archives was a nice touch to his story. He deserves it, and the way he started to poach all those random people just so he could have someone in the Archives... It was heartwarming and actually a little sad at the same time. 🥹❤️🩹 He tries to hide it, but he's pensive so often and that sadness in his eyes—he knows the moment he may become alone comes closer. 😢 I actually think he should recruit Cousin if he ever meets him again. ☝️🤧But one mystery piqued my mind the most—what's happening in Bailejing and why would they need so many corpses? Has it something to do with Twilight Grass again or something else? I probably didn't pick up all the hints that were given, but that's enough to start asking... 🤔

I thought Deng Yi would live. At one point where his and A'Zhao's eyes met, I thought they had been in cahoots all this time and he was there just to infiltrate and betray Xiao Xun... But I guess not? So there goes the secret with the "ghost" boy..... 😒🤷♀️One moment when he asked for that token I thought Yanfang was about to try and kiss Zhao... maybe I misread the scene, but the words "Don't you dare, Yanfang!" still came out of my mouth, lol. 😂 And kudos to A'Yu for the bravery to stand tall against all those grown men. 🥹And I knew, I knew A'Jiu would come and save A'Zhao at the very last second before capture. It's the last episode next, after all... That reunion was needed like bread to a starving man. 🤗❤️

The phone conversation Haixia had with Mo Yungao made me think of what was said some episodes ago—that he's him and he's not. I think it is related to the madness that takes over—meaning they both have it, so that's why they are alike, but Haixia has Hailou as an anchor to help him keep his sanity, and that's where he's not like Mo Yungao. And this perfectly fits with the advice the Great Buddha gave to Hailou—to ignore all the terrible things his brother has done, thus letting the good in him still survive. 🥹🤔I think it's foreshadowing the arc their brotherly bond will give us. 🫣✨Hailou, always being the troublemaker and the least responsible of all three, now is the only one who can hold them all together—search for his brother and help calm his madness, and look for that someone to cure Haiqi's illness.😔 A huge responsibility on him to be the saviour of his family, so if they both still die after all his attempts to save them, it will be devastating not only for him, but for me as a viewer as well. 💔🥺Haiqi barely holds together, yet she's strong and doesn't want to make it any harder for Hailou, so she wouldn't let anyone, especially him, see her pain, so she cries quietly only when alone. 😢 Oh, our poor trio! 😭❤️

I think Bai Yu can be turned against the Mo faction. Her interaction with disguised Hailou was quite funny. 🤭 At least their mission was successful! 😏And Haixia dealt with the Mo men beautifully with their own medicine. It looked like he actually has embraced his dark side and savours the sound of the agony around him like a delightful symphony.... 😲 Oh, Shrimpie!

I can't tell where the line between Haixia's good and dark sides is anymore, but he looks like dark Haixia more often than not. It seems like they have both merged, and I am second-guessing his every move now. 😟🤔I have no idea what his plans are for the Twilight Grass, but the thought of him choosing to gather it is quite chilling. His unpredictability is what keeps me on the edge of my seat all the time. The suspense is real! 😱😨Also, oh my god, Ding Yuxi in those leather clothes... damn! It suits him so well! 🔥🖤😍
