IrenaK Lanxiang is not really looking for a husband, so I am not sure if surprising her with a proposal would work in Han Liang's favour. In my opinion she would marry either for love or if that somehow could help her family (like an arranged marriage). 🫣But I am curious why the shop owner (forgot his name, but the one who drinks lying in his chair all the time) dislikes Grandfather Lin... 🤔

I really liked the ending, but why has it stuck in my head that the cat had also time-traveled back? And why did I think that Eunho had a coffee place next to U&K, and that guy who wanted Sumin was so in love that he aided her in her crimes? I feel so confused. I watched this two years ago for the first time, but it seems like I have forgotten all of it. But maybe I am mixing it up a lot with the manhwa (that I read even before I watched this for the first time).But as for the finale: I am so happy Jihyuk's fate was transferred to Yura and now they both can finally live every new day for the first time in their lives. AND face new challenges, like raising children! 🤗

If I remember correctly, in the webtoon Minhwan died in a car crash (it's been years since I read that one, so I might be wrong), but I like how they did it in this adaptation. This felt more deserved to be fair. Karma catching up with that trash-of-a-man for everything he had done to Jiwon in this and the original timeline. I loved how his death suddenly altered Mrs Yang's chances of getting the divorce. 😌🥳Very satisfying. Now I must see how it ends for Sumin and Yura.

Ah, she saved Juran! The whole sequence of her getting pushed by her husband, tripping on the sweets, and falling, combined with how it was when Jiwon had all that, made me cry with relief that Jiwon actually went all crazy and crushed that glass table before this happened... 😮💨🥹That part in the office at the end did look a lot like a thriller. I know Jiwon didn't die there, but I want Minhwan to get all the consequences for what he did. Yura and Sumin going at each other's throats would be another delightful sight. 😠🫣

Very satisfying to see both Du siblings go down in the same episode and fail at whatever they were up to. 😊 And really... WHY did they hate the Lin family so much? Maybe Du Zheng saving Jinqi was staged as well just to get him and his sister a way into the Lin family?And one of the most interesting things I have noticed is that every villain that is caught and possibly linked to that big scheme, when asked questions of "why", prefers dying over telling anything. What makes them choose to die for that plan? I still suspect Old Master Zhao to be behind it all, but maybe there's more. 🫣Jinqi and Lanxiang were so cute... Her telling him he's drinking from her cup and receiving a mischievous smile and "So?" as an answer... Him following her and trying to catch her every time she staggers, yet not really daring... 🤭Their conversation was so natural, and they talked without that distance created by one being a master and the other one his servant. They were more like friends, equals in some ways. And she said he's a good person, which only means she as the last descendant of the Shen family doesn't hold a grudge against him. 😌

Lanxiang's face showed her disbelief at what lengths Cuique can go to reach her goal. She killed her own maid to make it look like she also suffered from the epidemic. And like they said — Lingdang died too quickly, while Yuchan is still alive after many days. That's definitely suspicious! I wonder what was in the tea Gantang gave Cuique. Did they give her the same stuff she has been adding to everyone's bathwater? 🤔Du Zheng's plans are also failing, because he clearly didn't expect to see Jinqi there. And he just keeps trying to find any excuse to leave the ambush party briefly to warn the people he's working for. 🤨 But I kind of think that the final scene was made for us to believe Du Zheng is attacking Jinqi from behind, while in truth there is someone else in between them... Wouldn't be the first time! 🫣First Madam realising that Lanxiang is pretty much the only one she can trust with their household and people while she's locked away... "Desperate times call for desperate measures". That's a huge responsibility, but also praise and respect. 😌And then I thought again about the irony there. The Shen family died because the Lin family abandoned them in the face of danger, yet now a member of the Shen family is actually helping the Lin family to survive this danger that could easily wipe them out. 🥺And I definitely want to praise the production. So many actors and extras, and it doesn't look like they are using CGI to multiply people to look like there's more. The environment looks so natural, and I absolutely loved the fight scenes. In short, this drama is a treat for my eyes, ears and emotions. 😊P.S. The scene where Lanxiang asked Nanke for a favour — which was to deliver a letter to her parents — was so heartwarming and touching. It really did bring tears to my eyes. 🥹❤️

At first, I thought that maybe it was chickenpox, especially after Xiushu also got similar symptoms, but the way Yuchu's illness progressed, it actually did look like erysipelas. As far as I know, it's not contagious, so there's no way Xiushu has the same thing... Right? 🥺And who would have thought that Xiuwan would be the one to get wrapped around Cuique's finger! And now she will "help" her meet her brother in secret and ensure they get caught, so Xiuwan wouldn't have to marry Commander Yuan. AND I kind of had a feeling that Cuique wants to take this chance to marry him instead... 🫣 I really hope that little, observant Xiuru will find a way to stop the Du siblings and their schemes. 🤞I can only sigh in relief that Jinqi is already suspecting Young Lady Du of something and has asked Lanxiang to watch her. 😮💨And, oh boy, that man has fallen... He can't keep his eyes off Lanxiang anymore and is looking for excuses to meet her or ask her to attend him. And, of course, he agreed to help her with the physician... And the beautiful irony in all this is that she was supposed to be his wife all those years ago anyway... They would have had a beautiful, wholesome marriage filled with love and happiness, but now they have to go "against the current" to get onto that same path and destiny once again. 🤗🥰

I am in awe of how clever and quick-witted Lanxiang is. Her mind works wonders, and her words do too. She mesmerised a whole camp full of warriors, while I was worried she and Yuchan were being held hostage for some terrible reason. AND now Jinqi has noticed her even more... I see the way he looks at her. It's not the way a master looks at his servant, and it hasn't been for a while now! 😌Xiuwan learned that the man she likes is not Xie Zhao as she thought, but Du Zheng. It looked like she didn't really care much about that, but the one who did care was the concubine's daughter, Xiuru. Does she also like the man? 🧐 But he's sus and might envy Jinqi and harbour ill plans, so I can only hope that none of the Lin family daughters marries him. 🤞🥺And Xingtang couldn't escape her family's arrangement to marry that man? I really hope she makes a comeback and makes them pay for selling her off just to increase Grand Secretary Zhao's power and influence (which is the reason behind it, in my opinion). 😔

The Xies cancelling the marriage because of the Lin family's problems felt a lot like what the Lin family did to the Shen family, only in this case the consequence wasn't as dire. But now I have a feeling that Grand Secretary Zhao might be the ultimate villain, or at least one of the major ones. 🤨Jinqi pretending to be so tired sent a clear message to Du Cuique. I understood that, and I hope she did too and won't bother him anymore. 🫣However, I am a little worried about Xiaolian. She has to be near her all the time because of her assignment, and now Du Cuique has learned the flower plan failed because Xiaolian told Lanxiang her given name. She might not make them pay right away, but I am quite sure she will take her chance when it comes. 😟Loved the 2nd uncle! (Commander Wang from The Road to Splendor — hello! 👋) He brought some much-needed laughs to the room and eased the tension. 😅 And now I am excited about Jinqi working with Jialan to find the truth about the coats. 🤗

My suspicion that Du Cuique is not as innocent and nice as she looks has grown even stronger. I am more than certain that the flower on Jinqi's head wasn't an accident and that it was her scheme to make everyone assume there was romantic interest, forcing him to marry her. I am just not sure if her brother was in on it or not, because his reaction was hard to read. 🤨And I am so mad at Du Cuique for putting the blame on Xiaolian... my poor, sweet girl! 😢🫂The Lin family is lucky Shen Jialan survived all those years ago. Without her, Jinqi would have another unwanted marriage and possibly an even worse wife than the first. 🫣 But she's earning trust and getting recognized now — Jinqi's mother and grandfather definitely appreciate her quick thinking, cleverness and, in the end, her loyalty to their family.As for Jinqi — he's questioning her, and to be fair, I don't blame him. The situation is suspicious from all angles, and maybe her help was also pre-planned... But I think it'll be fine and he will be satisfied with whatever she tells him about the other flowers. 😌I am not sure if I'm correct, because there are so many characters and it's becoming a bit challenging to follow who is who, but I think Liu Xiuwan was watching a different young man, not the one she was supposed to. The young man shooting arrows had the same clothing as the guy who read poems and was sitting separately from everyone — matching the info she had on what the poem guy was wearing, right? 🤔

I thought the new guy, Little Roach, would be a jealous ex of James. Good that he wasn't, though. Ken is quite cute with all the romance, especially in the parts where he does things he usually doesn't, like cooking for James. 🤭I really liked Ken teaching James how to fight Nours and telling him about their weak spots. They are far stronger, faster and deadlier creatures than humans, and any knowledge will increase his chances of surviving against one. 😌The second couple is also moving forward, and even the third. 🙂 But the ending... Noooooo! I am so scared and now I have to wait a whole week. 😨

Han Shuo's father is ridiculous. Pretending to be so tough and ruthless, but in reality he's such a clumsy, silly man who can't do anything without his wife. But, hell yeah, Han Shuo's mother is such a badass! 👏🤩It would be perfect to have both cities under the same family's rule — one ruled by their son and the other by their daughter. However, they would need to make the rights of men and women somewhat equal. So far, it looks as though the story is heading in that direction. 😌

This episode touched on some interesting topics. Like the conversation between Han Shuo and Xiaoqian about screenwriters, and him asking if her world is also created by a screenwriter. That instantly made me think about religions, specifically Christianity, and how the Bible describes the creation of the world, mankind, animals and all other things. So it's no wonder the storytellers and Han Shuo himself asked Xiaoqian if she's an immortal! 🫣And I loved how they showed us the importance of men and women having equality and the freedom to choose their roles in their relationships. 😌I laughed so hard at that parade with Zi Rui, Meng Guo, Su Ziying and Bai Ji — a walking advertisement for what treasures Huayuan men are! 😂👏

Han Shuo: "What's oxygen?"Qianqian: "It's a type of gas on which humans live. Without it, people can't survive."Han Shuo: "Then you are my oxygen!" (Absolutely loved this! 🤭❤️)This episode was such a relief after everything that happened — at least regarding our leads. It took some sacrifices and risky acting, but they are finally together and happy. I certainly didn't expect them to consummate their marriage in prison! But there wouldn't have been another chance if they didn't do it there and then. 😌Loved Lin Qi coming to save our leads! Even more so, she and Qianqian are finally friends. I am cheering for these girls so much now! 👏🤗
