IrenaK Wow, I didn't expect the Eunuch twist! But was Zhang Dancheng pretending to be him the whole time, or did he take his identity only at some point? 😮🤔 Though, for a moment I was really afraid that their scheme for Cao San would fall apart because his wife was too hard to fool... Luckily, Chengming is very smart and found a way for it to succeed even without the help of their Sect. And, oh, how satisfying was Cao's fall! He was way too deep into believing he was the Emperor. 😅 And them spending all his money on an orphanage that's named after the river he almost drowned in during the first episode was so wonderful. 🥹 I just don't know if that was to honour his family or send a message to someone. 🤧 And was that Batou saying that Chengming is the light in the darkness he's been living in for so long? Could that mean there might be potential for a mutiny in Tianxiang Sect? Because Chengming is growing on them and gaining more and more respect, which only means he maybe could overthrow their current master... Could he? 🤔

I wonder what their end goal is with Cao San. Do they want to make him lose his mind over that dragon thing? Or get killed by his wife? 😅But I was a bit surprised that he went through the mutilation in his childhood too. Probably that's why his interpretation of "father's love" is like that... I hope we see his downfall in the next episode. 🤞

Cao San must go... His business is unacceptable to me. To mutilate children so they would look more pitiful? And then even dare to say that people who wouldn't throw them some money shouldn't be considered human? He's the one who's not human in this story... 😲🤬I am really looking forward to see how they deal with him. And I have noticed that all of those schemes are pretty much based on people's greed and desires. If they wouldn't be greedy or desired something badly, they wouldn't fall for those scams. 🤨And it does look like the Tianxiang Sect leader isn't blindly believing that Chengming is his son. He wants to investigate, and he's right to do so. For someone who's been in the scamming business for decades, it's a wise choice not to believe things they've been told, no matter how convincing they sound and look. 🫣

Wow, they really are scamming on all sides! On one hand, they do what they are assigned to do by Tianxiang Sect, but then they twist those tasks so they can do their own stuff on the side — and sometimes more than just one thing... I wouldn't be surprised if Chengming and Feiyan end up scheming against each other as well... 😳Her killing the other sect's leader was a great twist. Honestly, I didn't expect his death to be this soon. But then... I didn't expect Blind Du's death that soon either. 😅And him kissing her? I loved that scene! It had great tension and I am more than certain the feelings were all there, even if neither of them wants to admit it. He caught her by surprise and she had that little smile on the corner of her lips when he walked away. 😏

I really enjoy watching their dynamics. He has that hurt-yet-still-cares-for-her look on his face. Him taking the aphrodisiac... hmm, yeah. It would be fun to watch him restrain himself even more, but he did great. AND he even remembered an important piece of the puzzle in my opinion — she saved him from drowning in that river. 🤗And the flashback showed she hadn't signed up for killing people, which only proves she's a pawn in that bigger game with not much weight to her words. 😔I wonder how Chengming plans to use that Director Fan's bastard son. I had a theory at one point in the episode, but somehow it doesn't look like they are going that way. So I'll sit on it for now. 🤔

Well, I didn't get any answers to my questions about James' father, the reason why James has that super-ability of seeing auras, or whether Chita was the only Nour who could kill others. And I could definitely think of more that I had along this journey. 😳But I did like what they did there when Ken had to choose between catching the dousing flames of Chita's fire in hopes to die OR trying to save James. If he had chosen to die in the flames, James probably would have died too. Instead, he chose to try to save James, yet held on to his promise not to turn him. 🥹And I think, precisely because of his selfless choice, that actually might be one of my favourite scenes of the main couple, if not my absolute favourite one. In my eyes, it showed how deep his love actually was, because he didn't turn him into a Nour so they could live for eternity together. Instead, he made sure James gets to live the life he wanted — as a human, and with the man he loves by his side. 🤗The third couple also got a happy ending, and I am glad the mother was ok with her son dating another boy. But I was a little disappointed by the ending for Jirat and Chita, because I expected way more than just a quick death... But I get it — Jirat didn't want to live as a Nour, nor did he want Chita to continue his revenge. Love prevailed and Chita chose to kill them both to put their souls at rest... BUT I did like how they showed that — those videos of happy little moments of daily life. I guess it meant their paradise in wherever they went after death. 😌In conclusion, I want to add that this was my first Thai BL drama, and I realize there are things I have to get used to if I want to watch more of these. They caught me unprepared for the scale of physical intimacy they show. But I will be ready next time! Overall, an interesting watch, but nothing I was too hyped about. 👍

Oh, what a start... 🫨Dr. Han, why didn't you look at your blind daughter ALL THE FCKIN TIME? I wouldn't turn my back on mine no matter how important the call is. 😟But all I can say, I am already invested... My impression of this is very good atm and so far it gives me some vibes of Squid Game, Hunger Games, and 24h combined... I am really looking forward to watching this! 😏And the Trolley problem? I first heard of it in Fringe and I know very well what they meant by it... Damn! 😳P.S. I love the authenticity they are adding to this by using actors from the countries they represent and their national languages... Now I can only think if the kidnapped people are held together, Saori might develop some bond with the blind girl.

Chita's story is sad, actually. I believe his leg stayed crippled because he got the injury while still a human, and him becoming a Nour couldn't heal him completely and remove those scars. 😔 In my opinion, he isn't evil and deserves a redemption arc for what he has done... AND as far as we know, he kind of went only after Nours. SO, was James' father also a Nour? 🤔Another thing that got my attention here was the way Ken spoke to Chita about "us"... Could that hint that Ken is also a Nour who can kill other Nours, except for himself? Maybe Chita also can't kill himself? Or Nours can't kill themselves in general? This raised so many questions for me... 🤯 But I might have misunderstood something too. If so, I hope the last episode will give me answers to those questions. 😳And can humans even kill Nours if they need special Nours to kill them? So is there really any point for James to keep chasing after Ji and Chita? 🤷♀️

That was such a respect from Old Master Lin to Lanxiang's mother. He sensed she was not doing well and offered Lanxiang to let her stay in Zhichun Hall longer. And I am so grateful he did, because she passed away very soon after... 😢 The scene with her final moments holding her adoptive daughter's hands and sharing last bits of wisdom and joyful moments, then seeing her own daughter coming to take her... It was very touching. And I like that her husband was at peace with that, as he knows how joyful and good a life she actually had. And all of that thanks to Jialan who was a perfect daughter to them, as they were perfect parents to her... 🤧I love how Xie Zhao and Wan's story was wrapped up. And right he was — sometimes people have to wait for the right moment for their hearts to finally find each other and resonate. Their journey took sixteen years where they matured a lot, learned to be independent of their family's opinions, and realized what they wanted from life. We didn't see much of his road, but we saw a lot of Wan's. And knowing how it looks combined, I think it was done very well. 🤗🥰But why did Han Liang hesitate to kneel for the plea to return the Retired Emperor? 🤨

The drama has finally fully returned to its wonderful self again. 🤗The conclusion of Du Cuique's return and the pirate arc was beautifully done. Lanxiang and all the women from the Lin residence were so brave to stand against her and her pirate army of men armed with daggers and knives... Yet, none of them were brave enough to stand against oil and fire... Except for the crazy Cuique... For a moment I was scared for Lanxiang, but Xiuru intervened and got the satisfaction of revenge. 😌Jinqi fought like a beast. Oh, I loved him like this — fierce, determined, strong, and ruthless. 👏 But for a moment I was so afraid that one of our trio would die... I would really hate the writers if they killed Nanke, Jiugao, or Jinqi. 🫣P.S. Jinqiao's wife irritated me again... At least the Second Madam was sane enough not to encourage her further in disobeying Lanxiang's instructions.

I personally love how Wan has become her own woman, and her mother can tell whatever she wants... 😒 Though, I am quite mad at the Second Madam and her daughter-in-law. Even after all those years (and it was EIGHT in this episode alone!), they still rant about Lanxiang being incapable and incompetent at making choices for the family and running the household only because of her birth... Really, ladies? 🙄 Even Grandpa Lin entrusted the household to her...But damn, with those time skips, they are growing up so fast! Wan is already 35? Imagine that... 🤯And the little boy who sat in the tree with the slingshot is now 22 and married... 🫣But I am actually quite enjoying Wan's little adventure and now I wonder who's the guy in the end scene. Xie Zhao? 🧐 I can't remember what he looked like... but the person standing next to the kidnapper boss was definitely Du Cuique, or whatever her name was! It was her chin, I am quite sure of that! Which can only mean — trouble is entering the plot again! 😳P.S. I expected express episodes to come tomorrow, so getting five episodes today was a huge surprise to me! 🤗

All the maids got married. I am so happy! Nanke was so cute about the proposal and Xiaolian too. Those two are so adorable! 🤗 And Jiugao and Yuchen also finally became a married couple. 🥰But I do worry about Jinqi's mother... That illness looks terrible — like her skin is rotting away. And the stomach ache too? What kind of illness is that? Cancer? 😟I had already given up hope that she would ever tell him she's Shen Jialan... So, now, when Jinqi realizes she's not her mother's daughter, will he ask her about it? And will she tell him? I personally hope she does. Not that it matters in general, because he loves her for the person she is, not for her name, but still, I would love to see his reaction to that and what else that could bring to their lives. 😌Congratulations to all the new parents — Jinqi and Lanxiang with their cute little daughter Zhangcheng, and Xiushu and her husband, who are expecting their first! 🤗

Craaazy episode! So many twists, and some of those reveals were already circling my mind... Liang, Sect Master... wow! 🤯The most surprised I was was about Wenxin, but then, I actually wasn't. That man was unknowingly separated from his wife, then lied to about how that had happened, and in the end when he saw what they had done to her... His rage was well justified, he was pushed beyond his limits, and I can just applaud him for killing Huaiyi and Huaijin... They both deserved that. 👏🙂↕️And about the elder brother? I take back whatever pity points I considered before. That man was as vile as his siblings, if not even worse. The world is definitely a better place without him in it. 😌But the mystery around the ML's identity? I am super confused now. If he is not Wang Jiaxian, then who is he? And WHAT is his agenda against the Tianxiang Sect then? 🤨

It's terrible what the Qian siblings have done to Zhou Wenxin and his wife. He has to play a devoted and obedient husband to Qian Huaijin, while his beloved wife is blinded, works in the elder Qian brother's basement grinding medicine, and by the looks of it, is being sexually abused by Qian Huaiyi... 😰😠 That family is rotten. The only one who maybe could get some pity points from me was the "eccentric" brother who died... but even then — I would still consider whether to give him any. 😒But who tried to frame Chengming? Feiyan's "brothers" from the Tianxiang Sect? 🤔Now I am crossing my fingers Feiyan kills Huaiyi. Not only for his wanting to kill Chengming, which I doubt she would ever allow, but also because Huaiyi deserves that and way, way more. 🤨🤞

It was such a save with Lyu Ruhui! 😮💨 Also, I find it very interesting that Liang was kind of speaking with a dog, but on the opposite side of the wall sat another man and wrote everything Liang said... So, my question is — did Liang say all that to the man by pretending he was telling that to a dog, or was that man using this habit of the silly guy to get info for someone else, possibly the real Lyu Ruhui? 🤔And, honestly, I kind of love the tension between Feiyan and Chengming. Their cover could be blown any moment just because of how reckless he sometimes is around her. I tell you, if he keeps doing it like this, they both will get in trouble! 🫣P.S. I don't know for how many episodes I already wanted to tell this, but I do love how they have a different intro song for odd and for even episodes. 🤗
