I must be honest. For the better half of this episode, I kept questioning my choice of why I keep watching this. 😮💨 Not sure about other people, but I felt all the embarrassment during the scene where Jun’s mother entered Deng Yu's livestream and started dancing. 🤦♀️ The producers might think it was fun and sweet, but well… I didn’t. 🙄The other thing that made my skin crawl was yet another presence of Wang Ruohai on my screen… 🫣 Ok, I can be grateful he helped Qian Fei with getting a new job, but won’t he expect some gratitude in return? Also, I don‘t like him snooping around her phone, because I kind of think he did, even if he said he didn’t. 😒But about Yifei and Fei… Well, I actually hoped that would end more positively, but I get Fei’s decision. 💔 She chose herself, learning from her past mistakes, and Yifei will have to prove to her how serious he is with his feelings. Very sad that he moved out… at least she will still have the doors he put in, the plates he replaced and the teddy bear… 😭🧸Weirdly enough, my favourite part of this episode was Yifei finding out who's the one behind Fulaxida's sabotage… That’s how bad this episode made me feel. 😣P.S. Fei looked stunning in that white dress at the end. Loved it! So, maybe that was my favourite part. 👆

I would actually prefer if Lu Ze and Jingjing would give those two that necessary push… At least thanks to them, they are kind of a few steps closer to a real confession. 🫣 But I am getting tired of this back and forth — do I like him or do I not? Am I worthy of her or am I not? It’s really exhausting… 😮💨And I knew that the Fulaxida project was sabotaged, and I even suspected it would be the same people who sabotaged Shanlifang’s project and got Qian Fei fired! 🤨 But even Fang Yun being involved? She said it right — if she's still alive to get those spoils when the time comes... In the end, she's just a rat in the grain... 😠😤I really hoped I wouldn’t have to see Wang Ruohai in this drama anymore, that guy just gives me chills every time I see him. 🥶 And the reason we had to see him again was even less wanted, but I guess necessary to end his character arc — so he can live pitying himself, full of regrets about a lost love he never appreciated enough. Cheers! 🙄

Of course, Qin would try to take credit for the Vermilion Fruit. It's good that it didn't last long. 🙄😌But he's becoming persistent to get rid of Xiuyuan — trying to frame him and harm him. I am relieved that so far he hasn't succeeded. 😌But I do wonder about Songfeng. Why was he so sure and confused at the same time about Xiuyuan being the one with the scroll and practising demonic techniques? 🤨 Maybe he just thought he was seeing him, but actually it was someone (cough... pointing at Qin) using a disguise spell? 🤔Lifei is coming around slowly. She finally realises how much Xiuyuan actually helps her in many ways. Even if she is not ready to trust him yet, she finally allows him to stay nearby. And he does everything to take care of her — big things and small. 🤗😊Will they expose Qin next episode? I doubt it. I bet he will have yet another trick up his sleeve. And we have also a little love drama with prince Tangzhou. Lanya wants him to marry her, he thinks of Lifei all the time and then there's dancer Miaoqing, who also has set her eyes and heart on him... 😳🫣I am not sure if the guy will be the villain after all, because now there are so many candidates! 😒

Qin Yangling is showing more and more villainous signs by the minute! 🫣 I bet he somehow poisoned Songyang's mind to make him act this aggressively and cause his eyes to turn black. After all, he was definitely the one who sent that demonic power inside Lifei's body. What a double-faced schemer! However, I wouldn't expect anything less from an antagonist. And now he has even trapped Xiuyuan under the water... but oh, what a surprise it will be for him when Xiuyuan emerges from there with his demon mode fully activated! 😏Meanwhile, what about that seal on Lifei's forehead? 🧐 So it actually has links to Wuyue Court! Will they soon realise what a treasure they truly have sitting right there in their sect? 🤔

And we meet even more gluttons! 😂 It's quite amusing how easily Lifei could get into that "well-guarded" library/archive, and how she can get all the information she needs from her Master just by bribing him with yet another delicious food offering. 🤭 With every moment spent there, I question Wuyue Court's superiority more and more. 🤨Hu Jiaping being Lifei's senior brother was really something I already expected. He revealed it episodes ago just by looking at that funny picture of him. 😏But Qin... well, he looked suspicious to me almost right away. And it was confirmed in this episode that he actually is! So, he chose to keep the information from the scroll he found a secret, most likely to master the demonic technique himself. 👆 But it's no big surprise, actually, seeing the immense pressure the Master is putting on him due to his lack of capability to reach the fifth level. He doesn't want to give up his status to some younger disciples, so he's becoming hungry for an extra boost. 😔🤨I wonder who the man in the black cape was. Have we met the person hiding under it already? 🤔Lifei is still trying to push Xiuyuan away, whilst simultaneously worrying about him. Meanwhile, he spends his free time fighting his demonic side... if she doesn't accept him soon, I wonder if the demon will take over and she will have to do some Divine Tree stuff to get the guy back on track? But that's just speculation. Xiuyuan keeps putting himself in harm's way just so Lifei can do and find whatever she wants... what a guy! 🥺❤️

Aww, how sweet was his surprise for her birthday! 🥹 I am just so sad that the celebration was ruined in that way — but I don’t blame Fei. She thinks he doesn’t care about her that way and that it was just something casual to him, while she has all these feelings… if only she knew! 💔😩 AND coincidentally, there’s always plenty of stuff interrupting him just as he's about to reveal his feelings for her. 🙄 But AT LEAST he’s trying, finally!Apart from the birthday — could the agriculture app problems be another sabotage? 🤨 Could the unknown number sending a message to Qian Fei with birthday wishes also be yet another attempt to frame her for whatever Ms Fang asked payment for? 🤔I hope everything with Yu will be alright, however, Jun's mother’s reaction… LOL! 😂

Oh, I had a hunch that Fang Yun had ulterior motives. I might not have expected that she would use Qian Fei as her scapegoat… but our girl will only come out of this stronger! 💪✨ At least she knows who to avoid now and whom not to trust anymore. 😒I want to be happy about the kiss… But I can’t. Mainly because of them being drunk, especially her, and secondly, because she doesn't remember it. It somehow steals the magic for me. 😩 BUT, I do appreciate that Yifei realised the situation and understood that it wasn't right. Now that the brick has a crack in it, I am very impatiently waiting for the next one... hopefully before episode 36! 👀🤞

Jin has finally accepted the reality that Yifei doesn't like her, and she even tried to encourage him to be brave and do something about it. 👏.The daisies he bought for Fei were really sweet. I always appreciate it when a drama does something like this that isn't entirely cliché. And the care he had for those flowers... adorable. 🤗 But how could he not, when the whole meaning behind that gesture was to show Fei his well-hidden feelings! ☺️ AND his biggest gesture — the cooking! At one point, I already suspected that Yifei might help Lu Ze with his unemployment problem. And this was the best way possible, because he not only gets a paid contract, but he also gets to do something he really enjoys — upgrading the Fulaxida app. 😌

The Empress can now finally realise what the price was for the power she held for those years — her son’s respect. He now distances himself from her not only physically, but also emotionally, as his attitude towards her is quite cold. I think it’s quite ironic, considering that she kind of did all that for him too. 👆I really liked how Duke Hua acknowledged that the young Emperor has the mind and judgement to be a good ruler. So, regarding that, I hope Yunqi will stay where he is and Mo Jingli’s plan will fail. 🤞The conversation between Ye Ying and Mo Jingli… ehh — I really hope she will be able to move on from him, as I have hoped for at least 30 episodes already! 😩 She deserves so much better, and the way she told him that story about Ye Li, the boat, and the swimming, it really touched a chord in me. Poor Ying, I wish all the best for her. 🥺And now Mo Jingli has set his plan in motion, with the fire oils and raising chaos in the city. Of course, he chose the perfect time — while Prince Ding is not back yet and there is no one to defend the capital, the Emperor, and Guo Jin…. or maybe there is someone? 👀

Jifei has entered the strangest crowd there is in Wuyue Court. They are all gluttons and slobs, except for that one lady. But is this group really the weirdest one? That one guy in Ruzhi Peak was also quite bizarre. And they say this is the strongest and most respected immortal sect? 😂Did I get the library scene right, that Xiuyuan has to hold onto his love for Jifei so as not to turn demonic and evil? 🫣 And did the ending of the play mean the Demon Lord killed the Flower Fairy, or was it just her arm he chopped off? I need more answers about their past, though. If that's true, it might be something everyone thinks happened, but the truth is completely different — like she sacrificed herself and asked him to do it. ☝️🤔Gulin meeting Lu Li from the Wanxian Sect and choosing to join it might be a good thing for her. She constantly felt like a third wheel with Changye and Ye Ye, so now she can focus more on herself and forge new relationships. Is that for better or worse? Only time will tell, but I am kind of happy for her... 😌

And the Empress Dowager is scheming again! 🙄 Even after seeing that her son accidentally eavesdropped on her conversation with the Duke and now knows about all her wrongdoings to pave her road to power? Oh, that woman! 🤦♀️ She has invited Ye Li to live in her palace under the pretext of avoiding loneliness... Neither I nor Prince Ding are such fools as to believe that! She's so afraid that with the mighty military power Prince Ding has now, he might side with Prince Li and overthrow the Emperor, so she invited Ye Li to hold her hostage in her palace and use her as insurance against Prince Ding's possible treason. And I am not afraid for A’Li at all, because she’s no ordinary woman, and the Empress Dowager actually should be the one to beware… 😏Also, to be fair, I kind of thought the Empress Dowager did something to the Duke, and that's why he suddenly got so sick. Otherwise, I can't understand why it happened in her room and why so rapidly... 🤨

This episode let us see Dang Yu’s family, and it kind of explained a lot why her attitude towards everything is the way it is. Her parents and family dynamic are the complete opposite of what Jun has, and it is no wonder she envies him a little. 🥺At least they are moving in the right direction with their relationship now. 🥰As for Fei and Yifei… well. We’re still stuck, but at least they both have finally realized they have feelings for each other. Yet, they are not brave enough to speak up about it. 🫣 I get why they are hesitant, because they probably don’t want to be rejected, or even worse — ruin their friendship if the confession fails. I really hope they can have more faith in their feelings and in each other…And what’s with the influencer girl? 🙄 Why is she so obsessed with Yifei? Can’t she really take a rejection? She’s making herself look ridiculous by clinging so much to a guy who is not even interested in her. I really don’t like her being alone with Yifei in Fei’s apartment… 😤

As expected, there's yet another obstacle why the Fragrance Bond couldn't be broken — the feelings between the bonded are too strong and mutual. And we know who those two are — Lifei and Xiuyuan. However, Prince Tangzhou looked rather jealous of that reason why the bond can't be broken. And to ensure the growing suspicion, he confirmed to Lenya that he likes Lifei. 👆😔But, oh boy, those masters of the Academy! To make the trial so dangerous? Of course it would reveal everyone's true character at such a moment of crisis... But what if any of them had died? 😯At least we saw how worried Lifei was when Xiuyuan sacrificed himself so she and Prince Tangzhou could finish that spell... The feelings are all there, but she still needs time, which was perfectly shown by how her attitude towards Xiuyuan changed once he was ok again. 🙂

I thought it would be Lifei's power that would emerge and save the day, but it turned out to be Xiuyuan's... To be fair, I actually prefer it this way, because that gives him something that balances his betrayal a little AND, most importantly, Riyan survived in the end. 🥹 All of that combined is a good starting point when it comes to him climbing his way back into Lifei's trust. I hope it will take some time, but I already noticed that she can't completely ignore the guy. She gives him an overall hard time, but not hard enough, in my opinion. 😅Zhenyunzi losing his spirit roots as the reward for his greed and underestimating Xiuyuan's "little power" was perfect payback! 👏 But it was very sad to see Shanhua dying after everything Xiuyuan was ready to sacrifice to save him. 😢Also, I don't think they are going to get rid of their Fragrance Bond any time soon. There will always be something that comes in the way, leading me to think that maybe she doesn't want that bond gone all that much. 🤨

I'm still kind of in denial that Princess Lingyun is dead. 😔 But judging by the way Zuidie received her end and what Zhiyao did after, it looks a lot like the closure to that arc... At least he was the one who delivered the killing blow to her and avenged his beloved's death. 👍 But for me, it's so much more bitter than it ever will be sweet. I rooted for them so hard and I honestly feel robbed. 😭I was so worried for Mingxi's life during the fight scene, and I kind of hoped—and maybe subconsciously expected—that Mingyue would sacrifice himself to save his brother. And that's exactly what happened. 🥺 That ending I am quite okay with... I just hope Mingxi will now be able to reunite with Ye Li and live the life he dreamed of. 🥹However, I am still feeling uneasy because he stayed behind at Suixue Pass. Maybe his arc ends with him ensuring Xiuyao survives until the end, even if he has to sacrifice his own life for it? That would be the repayment of two lives to Ye Li, because Xiuyao's life is pretty much equal to, if not even more valuable than hers, in Ye Li's eyes. 😟
