IrenaK Oh, what a delightful episode! I got to see the Fifth Princess get humiliated and fall—and fall hard, for that matter. She got to eat her own arrogance in the worst way possible. Thank you, Buyi, for delivering this justice! 👏 Thank you, Shaoshang, for contributing to it too! 👏The trio watching and drinking tea while that officer got whipped was pure entertainment—Yuan Shen's sarcasm, the Fifth Prince's relief at not being the one getting punished and just sticking with the tough guys, and Buyi, of course, with his scary calmness, yet piercing gaze. 🤣😏I am kind of frustrated to see Shaoshang and Buyi argue—however, that's not quite the right word—about how they feel and whether she trusts him or not. This conversation has become very repetitive. I get it, it has to happen over and over again, with every subsequent time serving as a step closer to them finding common ground. However, these arguments and misunderstandings exhaust me. I much prefer them flirty, trusting, calculating, shrewd, and avenging! 😩😒🙄

What an episode! Not just a banquet to celebrate the Empress' birthday, but it was also a banquet of emotions. 😭🥰😠As an appetiser, we got anger, terror, and fear, served by the Fifth Princess. She chose to deal with Shaoshang by pushing her into the pond, throwing rocks at her while she tried to get to the shore, and even ordering her maid to release snakes into the water, where one of them bit her leg. A terrible, terrible scene. Historical bullying at its finest and very hard to watch. 😡😟🫣 And just when I thought that all of that was behind us at this point...For the main course, we got emotional pain, lots of tears, and a very sweet, intimate, and comforting bedroom scene served by Buyi and Shaoshang themselves. He came to her late in the evening to shower her with praises, but instead, after what she had experienced during the day, those words had the completely opposite effect. It brought Shaoshang to tears, and not only her. Oh, how it hurt... 😭😭💔 Buyi noticed it eventually and asked what had happened, but she wouldn't tell the truth... of course, she said she was homesick, because she doesn't want to always run to him for defence, and just asked him to hug her... tighter... tighter... even tighter... 🥺🫂Buyi's comfort came suddenly, turning my tears into breathless sighs... The moves, the landing in the bed, the embrace, the gaze... It really was breathtakingly beautiful and intimate... ❤️🥹🥰For dessert, we got joy, flirting, some provocations, and a little anxiety for a cliffhanger, served now by all of them combined. Buyi and Shaoshang so openly showed their affection for each other, making the haters hate them more and leaving the supporters just in awe. 🥰✨ The Fifth Princess used yet another scheme from her very wide sleeve and tried to frame Shaoshang as being in a secret relationship with the Fifth Prince... 🤬 I am quite sure nothing of her plan will work, because Buyi definitely is smarter than that, and even the Fifth Prince might deny it after that insightful conversation with Shaoshang. 🤔☝️

What a plan Fei had to make that apology go through! 👏 And Yifei as usual secretly helped her all along. 😏I absolutely loved those little moments when his gaze stayed a bit longer on her, or how he playfully teased her just so she would be close to him. His heart almost stopped from the effect she had on him on that sofa... 🥰💓 Yeah, the love is definitely there! Now we just need them to admit it and get those fireworks flying for once! ☝️Please, finally.... 🙏

"As long as you keep running toward hope, hope will arrive sooner than you expect." — Li Yifei. 😌She's a fighter, and she will get through this yet another rough patch. She will do more voluntary work out of pure goodwill, making everyone realise how valuable and competent she is with everything she does. That's our Fei! 💪❤️However, her conversation with her dad on the phone made me giggle... 🤭 All the boyfriend talk, and Yifei just swooping in to play this role with such enthusiasm... hehehe. 😏 But I do want those fireworks to enter the plot soon! We've been waiting for so long! 🙏

Lifei and Xiuyuan's bond has reached the point where they are both ready to sacrifice themselves for each other. The picture she drew for him, describing how they could live in Qingqiu—just the two of them, her master, and his brother—was incredibly sweet. It’s a beautiful dream to aim for. 🤗😌However, I am not sure about Prince Tongzhou anymore. I am starting to feel suspicious of him, even if I can't quite put my finger on it yet. Him returning to Ganhua alone feels like an unusual choice for a true friend, and his face looks a bit calculating and observant, way too often now. 🤨But the biggest mystery to me in this episode was Xiuyuan being able to read the strange Overseas language Lifei's master could. And that makes me wonder... Back in the first episode, Lifei's master mentioned a "Senior Brother" who had finally showed up, right after the scene where Xiuyuan used that metal magic AOE pushback ability. Did he mean Xiuyuan was his "Senior Brother", or was it the guy Xiuyuan fought there? Why do I suspect it to be Xiuyuan, the Demon Lord... 🤯

She saw his willy!... 🤭 At least there was something ridiculous in this episode filled with stuff I don't really care about anymore.And as for the stuff I don't care about:Jun kind of moving closer to Deng Yu... again. 🙄 Ruohai upsetting his girlfriend... again. 🤦♀️ The girlfriend lashing out at Fei by causing her work trouble... again. 😤😟 It feels like circling non-stop through the same events, just with different weather.Fei's chat with Ruohai's mother was kind of sweet. 🤗 She really is a nice girl who genuinely respects and cares about people, which once again proved to Ruohai what a bad and rash decision it was on his part to break off their engagement and relationship. ☝️ And thanks to Yifei for dealing with the guy who didn't want to pay for the translation! 👊🔥

Trial marriage, he said? I think Fei and Yifei have been trialing for at least 20 episodes already! 😏 And how easily he got her to cook those tea eggs! They are so comfortable with each other and know each other so well already! 🤗The look on Yifei's face when he saw her dress under that puffy coat... uff! 😍 A man should look that stunned when looking at his lady! 💖✨Jun Cheng and Deng Yu's break-up was unnecessary, I think. We kind of got his mom to come around a day before, but then she pulls this... It's a very childish non-solution to the problem. It looks like Jun is the only adult in that family. 🙄🤦♀️Ruohai probably now understands what he has lost by choosing this business lady over Fei. She doesn't really care much about anything in his life, except for him being by her side... Quite an empty relationship. 🤨

"Never-Ending Summer" — a series of paintings including four works: "Winter", "Spring", "Summer", and "Autumn". ✨ It's actually beautiful that the title of this drama represents a series of Xixiao's mother's art pieces, especially knowing he wants to become an artist, that it's his passion, and how much his mother's talent and works mean to him. 🤗🥹And that makes it even more painful to watch how he gets hurt because of Wen's and her mother's schemes. He deserves the absolute best for who he is and how deep his heart actually is. All the romantic moments he planned for the two of them were amazing. 🥹🥰 Wen looked stunning in that dress, and for a moment, it felt like she would have let go of her plan and just be with Xixiao... 😔But then he went back to the stage to defend the mentioned art piece series. During his speech, Wen coincidentally received the hospital call about her grandmother, and meanwhile, she was asked to leave the banquet because Mrs. Lu doesn't know her. All of that together worked as a harsh reality check for her, and she set her mind back to her plan — to get the money from her mother, no matter the consequences. 😟She acted impulsively, and the consequences hurt... 😭💔

Wow, with her awakening power, Lifei is starting to spread a very noticeable scent! At first, only Xiuyuan could smell it, but now the Prince can too? I wonder if that's related to how strong their relationship is with her, or maybe it has something to do with their own power? Because some people haven't noticed it yet. 🤔And that scene in the restricted area? Did Xiuyuan try to bite her, smell her, or kiss her neck? If it's the latter, then the scene was much more sensual than it looked! 😯 If things continue this way, he won't be able to hold out much longer... 😬 Lifei should really mask that scent somehow, otherwise the whole world will either want to possess her, kiss her, or kill her! There won't be any in-between. 😟So, the lady from Wuyue Court is actually the Demon Lord's devoted and loyal servant, who woke up a couple of episodes ago! An ally at least! 👆✨

Hu Jiaping seems like an even more suspicious character now. To my eye—not sure if I'm correct, though—it looked like he didn't want Lifei's power to be exposed, and... in the previous episode, he wanted to diminish the demonic power his spy sensed. Did he have some entanglements with both the Flower Fairy and the Demon Lord in the past? And was the lady in the painting he erased Lifei? I couldn't tell with certainty. But it gives me the vibe that the Flower Fairy could be someone he loves and wants to protect... I don't know. But I am quite sure he faked that spell to find the tower's aura. 🧐Also, Zong Quan pointing out that there was "that traitorous cultivator" makes me question if he was thinking of the Flower Fairy? And maybe it's because she was in cahoots with the Demon Lord? Zong Quan is so fixated on her! 🙄🤦♀️On another note, I'm not sure if the three-bond way is the safest option for them. If one dies, do all of them die? Or do the others just feel the pain? 🤔😦

Wen's mother actually took the money that was meant for her daughter... Really?! 😲 And now she's setting conditions for Wen not to disturb her, claiming the money was hers all along... Now I'm even starting to question if the father had actually died without help. Did he, Wen's mother? Did he really?! 😠😡It's quite upsetting to see how Xixiao and Wen can't trust each other with their deepest secrets. I know they might not be at that stage yet, but they make such an amazing team when they work together! Wen using him definitely won't help matters, though. Are these the big lies that split them apart for 10 years? 🤔😟Xixiao's father is also on my blacklist. I absolutely can't stand that man. 😤

One wild night, lots of alcohol, and a little street fight was all it took to get Jingjing and Lu Ze to reconcile. Fei's bed will remember that! 😏

For me, it looks like Xiuyuan has subconscious feelings for Lifei, because they haven't really experienced enough private moments for it to feel real just yet. 🤔 Also, how many times has he already caught her in the air? 😂I'm not sure if that was her full power awakening, but it still looked like a lot. Maybe they can somehow make everyone think that the little branch one of the masters has did it? 😬And why did Hu Jiaping try to attack them? I already suspected him to be a bit mischievous and to have some secrets, so maybe he has a secret agenda there. 🤨

I think Hu Jiaping could be Jiang Lifei's senior brother. Maybe he knows of her existence but never actually met her, and that's why he didn't recognise her right away? 🤨 And the fact of how offended he looked just by seeing that drawing of his face... lol! That picture really makes me laugh every time they show it on screen. 😂Prince Tongzhou is becoming more and more present around the lead couple. Did he mention why he wanted Xiuyuan to work for him? 🤔 However, his concern about Xiuyuan's health was quite funny—how he just flew past Lifei to catch the guy... 🤭 That scene gave me a total BL vibe, though I am not sure if that was the intention there! 🤷♀️

This episode felt more like a bridge between what happened and what's about to come in the final episodes. It was a real breather, filled with cute, little A'Li and A'Yao moments: her teasing him, him being very caring about her health, him being jealous about many things, and them following Steward Tang together... just to name a few! 🤭😏❤️There wasn't much drama in this one, just mostly daily routines. However, I am really grateful that the Emperor gave a decree to honour all the scholars of Lishan Academy—the living and the dead. 🙏✨
