This episode was quite an emotional roller-coaster! 😮Firstly, we had all the drama and fear for the lives of our main couple. It was very, very emotional, especially from Prince Ian's side. And the twist that the target was actually the Prince? No wonder all our villains were confused about what the hell happened! I am pretty sure the Queen or her father is behind this. 🤔🤨Secondly, I am very curious what that maid said to PM Min! 🧐 I somehow expected that to maybe be in the Epilogue, but we got some rom-com lovey-dovey moments instead. Not that I'm complaining, though! 🤭💕And thirdly, I want to know who found the contract and how they organized the leaking. I already have some suspects, and one of them is actually PM Min. 🤨 But atm there's too many possibilities, so the truth there is quite unpredictable. 🤷♀️

Could Madam Ge be Chu Zhao’s mother? I am about 99% sure she is. There were so many hints, and when she said that line, “your mother loves you too”, it completely sold the theory for me. I loved how Chu Zhao got that new guy, Liang Qiang, all confused about how she knows him and why she knows so much, and later to find out that she’s actually General Ling’s daughter, not to mention the Grand Princess! Yeah, that was pretty funny. And, oh, what an emotional moment it was when Chu Zhao met Zhong Changrong... that scene made my eyes water—they enhanced her last memory of him dying by playing with those colours again. And he didn't even know how much meeting him alive meant to Chu Zhao. Also, that political war over who will get to control General Chu Ling’s 200,000-man army? Yanfang intercepting Deng Yi’s written edict and ruining the plan to incorporate another general—probably one loyal to Xiao Xun—was smart. I think Yanfang was pretty satisfied that A'Yu would give that army to Yanlai if General Chu Ling died, because in that case, he assumes he might have some control over it himself, considering his supposed hold over Yanlai. We’ll see about that, though!I can't get enough of watching Deng Yi and Xie Yanfang exchanging their "pleasantries". It's always a delight!

Whoa, the chemistry between the leads is just next-level insane! Their shared scenes were definitely about 10 degrees hotter than the rest of the episode… the tension is already so real! Also, watching her use her sharp wit, royal status, and masked threats to completely manipulate those power-hungry men?! Pure perfection. Chu Zhao is playing the political game beautifully. This is getting so promising, I’m officially locked in!

With all the ups and downs, hilarious and worrisome moments, and other whatnots, they ended the episode with such a beautiful kiss. 😍 A magical night indeed! 🤗❤️

What a nice way to end this show! Them becoming a couple in ordinary people's world, living a normal life with no restrictions of what to eat, when to kiss, when to run and all the other things! ❤️

Twists and turns in this episode, but at least they are not getting a divorce! 😮💨Huiju's brother did an amazing job with the press conference! 👏It seems like PM Min is embracing the antagonist role completely now, but I don't understand if his goal is just to get Huiju for himself (which never will happen, might I add), or just get rid of Ian out of jealousy—or maybe other reasons... 🤷♀️ I really hope Ian wasn't inside that burning building after all. 🙏As for the Queen Mother, I hope she sees now that she cannot continue the way she has and she needs to change—if not for herself, then at least for her son. The poor boy is suffering and living in constant stress and emotional misery. He needs to be protected not as a king, but as a child. 🥺🫂And a joy for my eyes was the beautiful and passionate scene of our leads. 🤗❤

I don't understand how the Queen Dowager got the contract since it was locked in Ian's personal safe. 🤔 Anyway, it's quite clear that PM Min was at the center of this leak and held all the cards for either outcome. I really don't understand how he thought he would win Huiju this way... even if she weren't in love with Ian, I don't think Min would have had any chance. 🤷♀️The divorce is probably the solution with the least damage. They very likely would return to the way they were before the marriage, meaning Huiju would not keep her royal status. Maybe she might even take all the blame and add that she tricked Ian, so he could possibly keep his position as the regent. 🤔🤷♀️I am very, very sad about how all of this is affecting our little king. No one really thinks about his well-being and peace in this situation. And to be fair, I was very satisfied with the "beast mode" Prince Ian turned on to almost strangle the Queen's father. And the support and praise he got from Huiju... Perfect! 👏❤️

She knew how to lead, but not how to follow. He knew how to follow, but not how to lead. And so, they began to walk side by side. Perfect! ❤️"Do not bend to their will. Do not step back and do not compromise. I shall fight with all that I have. Just as you do." — I-An

Whether it's a king-only symbol or not, he's her dragon in shining armor now! 🤗I loved the kiss; the atmosphere was perfect with the petals flowing through the air and the warm colors of the night. So beautiful and romantic! (He probably did it for the surveillance cameras or something like that, but I know he craved to do it anyway! 😏🤭)

Wow... our girl was on fire! I loved how the ruffian gang became her loyal followers so easily. She’s the only one who can beat their butts like no one else—she earned every bit of that respect! Chang Yu was definitely the MVP of this episode. No doubts there. I was so worried for the hawk, but I'm so glad Zheng found a way to save it from the butcher's block. Good job convincing your wife the bird is worth more alive than eaten, Zheng! That was a close call for our messenger. But the ending... uff... I didn't expect this twist. What will happen next? Will Chang Yu be accused and put on trial for murder? I really hate her uncle and aunt! At one tiny moment, though, I was actually afraid that Zheng or the ruffian gang might have done something to the uncle... We'll see what happened. I suspect the truth won't be revealed to the public, but I hope at least we get to see what really went down!

The pretend marriage consummation—no words! Electric sparks were flying everywhere and the room was filled with heat. To our disappointment, the leads are very good at restraining themselves, even when they are practically glued together.I really savored the beautiful shift from the northern lands to the more spring-like grounds of Heijian Luyuan Academy via bird's-eye view. The hawk's travel was perfectly done, finally revealing who is on the other side of this communication: Gongsun Yin, the headmaster of the Academy. A very intriguing detail is that there's a lady disguised as a man with heart-eyes for the headmaster. That subplot could be very interesting! As I understood in the end, the Marquis has another alias: Xie Jiuheng? Or was the headmaster referring to the bird by that name?

This episode gave us so many warm moments! All the little things they do for each other... it's very visible that Zheng already cares for Chang Yu. He even put in the effort to get back her hairpin. So sweet! ❤️Neither of them could even sleep properly after those exchanged pecks on their cheeks. The feelings are definitely blooming! The highlight was definitely seeing them show Song Yan his place. Even though it looks like he cares for Chang Yu on some level, he's definitely not worthy of her. He just lets others plan his life and needs. Making him a laughingstock at their wedding felt so well-deserved! 👏I wonder who the Marquis is exchanging messages with... They sent medicine for him, organized the payment for his "essay", and got Chang Yu's hairpin back. I want to know who they are!

I loved Princess Hade! Her energy is amazing, and her friendship with Bu Yinlou makes me like her even more. On the other hand, Prince Fu seems very shy and lacking in confidence. In my experience with these dramas, characters like this often become obsessed with one of the leads; when they don't get what they want, they eventually turn into villains. I'm curious to see if his story goes differently! Overall, I’m really enjoying the show so far.

This episode clearly set the footing for the next phase. Even if I loved the romance scenes and the incredible chemistry between our leads, the world around them and beyond is in turmoil.Firstly, we finally heard the Grandfather's secret. To no surprise, it turns out Chang Yu's father wasn't his biological son. Da-da-da-daaam!Secondly, Wei Sheng’s organized killings of citizens are specifically designed to rile people up, turning them against each other and starting riots. At this point, I actually hope Qi Min will intervene to help Yu Qianqian, but that man and his intentions are still a total mystery to me.Thirdly, Xie Zheng has revealed his intentions to leave.Everything is changing; tension between factions is growing, and all the major figures are trying to make their moves at once. It’s inevitably leading to a massive clash. I’m waiting for tomorrow’s episodes—the drama is unfolding, and I want to be right there in the front row!
