I don't think Lanya was as forced as she claimed. From how she acted in this episode, I'm pretty sure she agreed to do that quite easily! 🤨As for Tongzhou — will he want to use Lifei now only to boost his power so he can protect his land? Yeah, talk about "love".... 🙄Lifei finally knows she's the Divine Tree, right? That's what I picked up from her memories. 🤨🤷♀️And Xiuyuan using Yacha's powers so openly? Does everyone already know he's him? Or have I missed something? Given his secret endeavours, he has already accepted he's the Demon Lord. So, is he Yacha with Xiuyuan's personality (or pretending to be like him)? Or is he the same old Xiuyuan, only with Yacha's powers and memories? 🤔

OMG, all the things Zhou Wan has to go through — she's just a teenager still, but she has to take care of her grandmother, get hundreds of thousands of money somewhere, while also balancing the bullying of street punks and her own mother who, might I add, hasn't even cared about her existence for years... 🥺💔Oh, and how I hate that mother! 😤 I want to strangle her whenever I see her, especially after she tore that beautiful painting... and that punk Luo He is no better — pushing a girl down and then kicking her body? 🤬👊

I can't even express how much I hate Zhou Wan's mother. And now she is setting even more conditions for her to get money for Grandma's kidney transplant... 😔 That won't end well.I even suspect that Wan asking Xixiao to leave his dream of becoming an artist and go study finance might play a huge role in their 10-year break-up. 😒😢The scene with the puppet show and the story about the wolf and the sheep might be my favourite by far. 🤗❤️Both of them are incredible people and really care for each other. He wants to open his heart to her, and she's his muse, safe harbour, and torment at the same time... 😌😞

This episode was so sweet and cute! She's like a magnet to his eyes. Whenever she enters the room, his eyes instantly fixate on her. 🤭Loved the amusement park scenes, all the bits to surprise Gu Meng on her birthday, and Xixiao and Wan bonding over his mother and his mother's art. And he said she's his inspiration! That's almost like a confession of love, given how he looks at her... 🤗❤️

I knew she was annoying, but why did Lanya betray her own sect and Prince Tongzhou? 😮 Was she possessed like that other guy, or did she act of her own free will? Sad for Gelin's broken heart, yet I think it's so much better that she accepted Ye Ye marrying Changyue. 💔🫂 Even though she may not love Lu Li yet, I am quite sure they will get there! 🥺👉👈Tongzhou deciding to give up his affection for Lifei... yeah, I am not sure if he really will be able to do that, which might end up turning him into a villain. Especially after he learns Xiuyuan is Yacha, I think. 😔

I didn't really get what Xiuyuan's obsession was. Was it the Calamity Sea and his demon persona? Or was it Lifei? 🧐🤔 Lifei's obsession clearly was her master, combined with Xiuyuan getting possessed by Yacha.Tongzhou's was Lifei, and that's a big one. 🙄It's funny how the funniest weirdo had the strongest mind... 😂 Yeah, who would want to be Wuyue Court's leader? Qin Yangling for sure would... 🙄 I wonder what he saw in that green mud cocoon. He looked like he was sucked of energy the most — pale lips, body covered with sweat. 🤨I really hope Gelin will be able to let go of her feelings for Ye Ye and notice Lu Li, because I think that guy actually likes her and would be so much better for her, since he would prioritize her over others. 😔

Oh, I loved this episode, especially the second part where the Demon Lord Yacha revived and Lifei used her blood to calm him back into Xiuyuan... And that proved that Xiuyuan was biting her neck previously, craving her blood... And apparently, he did so when he was at his most demonic and around her. 🫣😏 And does that mean they drank that Forgetting Soup before so they would forget about each other and never meet? But now, when they accidentally met, all the memories emerge? 🤔😯 But from now on, everything might be a bit more dangerous. Cuixuan sensed the Divine Tree's aura, and they have announced to the world that Demon Lord Yacha has revived and are now gathering people to decide what to do with him... 😬😟 And Prince Tongzhou is back too now... I hope he won't try to swoop in between Xiuyuan and Lifei. 🙄 At least their bond seems stronger now, different than it was in the beginning.

Oooh, she's onto him now! 😯 Golden eyes, weird behaviour... I actually am waiting for them to finally find out what their true identities are! 🫣And again, we saw how he becomes so possessive of her and wants to kiss/bite her neck... An interesting kink if he's into biting, yet why specifically that one? Does it have some meaning or really just a kink? Because I've never seen such a thing in any other drama, and they somehow keep pointing to those moments through his memories... 🤔😏When that demonic creature attacked him, I expected his eyes to glow golden and they did, but I somehow expected that he could subdue the creature with his Demon Lord aura and intimidating gaze. But no... And then I have a question — why is Cailing trying to push Xiuyuan so hard to learn the truth about himself and become the Demon Lord? Is she trying to muddy the waters for the Calamity Sea to start? 🤔🙄I don't quite understand why Qin was pardoned that easily and allowed to join their mission to those White Cliffs... Especially after he agreed that he might have been affected by demonic powers? 🤨AND Lifei's master from Wuyue Court is becoming one of my favourite characters. 🤗

The only proper fight for Lifei was with Cailing, and even then she got help from the side — the firewall seed from Prince Tongzhou. I liked the proud smile on Xiuyuan's face when she won, and the anger towards Cailing for almost killing her? Deserved. His own fight with Qin was quite tough too, but I wonder how long will they think he's just a prodigy/genius and not suspect of his demonic spirit? 🤔I kind of don't like Qin Yangling's master. He's very sus towards Lifei, especially after her absorbing the Achillea Bead. And I also don't like Xiuyuan's master for how he reacted to him forfeiting the finale. I get the discipline, but isn't that a bit too drastic? 🤨 And now they all have to go inside the valley to trace the demonic energy... Oh, will they find out about Xiuyuan there? 🫣Also, Lifei's different reactions to Xiuyuan's confession of liking her versus Qin's... The slap might have been deserved, but at least she knows now! 😳😏

Some of the stories were wrapped up beautifully, while some were left untold. I was scared for a moment that Feibai would stay alone and blind, but no... Yusheng stayed with him, and I am so grateful to her for that. 🥹❤️Ye Ying stayed in Mo Jingli’s mother’s hometown, if I noticed it correctly… I had more expectations for her character arc, but we don't always receive everything we wish for. 😒Mingxi finding his way back to the shops and working there — the life he dreamed about — really made me feel happy. 😌✨ Even if his role wasn’t THAT significant in the end, I really loved his character. That scene where the Empress Dowager died and the music just grew louder in the background until turning into the chanting, with the camera moving through the Lishan Academy rooms while the children were counting the teachings of wisdom, sincerity, and other things... It almost felt like Lishan Academy could finally breathe again once the Empress Dowager was dead. Really masterful scene. I got goosebumps there. 🤩😌 She deserved the punishment she got, and actually even more for all she did. But they can’t kill her twice, right? 🤔Lishan Academy opening up, and then Ye Li moving to the room with all the dead scholars and her grandfather… oh, that scene reduced me to tears. 😭💔 At least she’s at peace now with them being gone, and she is ready to leave the past behind and follow the path ahead, just as her grandfather advised. 🙏✨A wonderful ending for a wonderful drama. Everything seemed kind of well-wrapped, yet I can’t forgive one thing, and that’s Princess Lingyun’s death. 😢💔 I don‘t think I can ever forgive the plot for that.

It’s very fortunate that Prince Ding returned early; however, he took a great risk by entering the capital without a decree. Good thing he wasn’t punished for that! 🫣😮💨Mo Jingli died by dozens of arrows, looking into the eyes of Ye Li and thinking of all they had experienced together and how she had felt about him… disgusted (her words). 🫢 He lived his life for that one ambitious goal he thought to be rightful. But Ye Li said it correctly — since he treats thousands of lives as disposable, does he deserve to rule over the land? And my answer to that is — Power that’s taken by force doesn't usually last that long. 👆😒After the war, when Prince Ding had been away for a month, she had felt very lonely, even when surrounded by people. 😢 The only person who still brings her comfort is A'Yao, and that’s what we actually saw at the end when they sat by the fire and all those army men danced around. A heartwarming moment, yet meanwhile also a little sad, because nothing else could bring her any joy. 🥹🤧Now I just must hope she and A’Yao stay side by side for the rest of their lives, even if both have to go to war together. 🥺❤️

The wrap-up was beautiful actually. I don‘t think there were any loose ends left, except maybe I didn’t understand why Liao Jinshan wasn’t arrested. Was it because of that help with the investigation he got offered two episodes ago? 🤔 I thought he believed it was a trap and didn’t accept the offer. But that’s not important anymore. 🤷♀️Despite the very bumpy road of the plot-car, in the end, this was an OK watch. 😌 I felt the romance brewing throughout the whole story even if Fei and Yifei didn’t. I might have wanted more, but I am accepting what I got, which is way more than I’ve got in some other dramas with an earlier romance. 🤭🥰But I was a little disappointed with Fei’s reaction when she learned who Yifei’s father is. 😑 Without even talking to him, she just jumped to conclusions, locked him out of the house, and blocked his phone… It’s good that the story made up for that, otherwise I wouldn't forgive them for ruining an overall enjoyable finale. 😒

I pretty much loved an episode that’s this dedicated to their relationship. We got plenty of moments of them together, like they were compensating for all those we didn't get in the other 30+ episodes. 🥰Yifei found a great solution on how to keep the apartment while Fei got her wish to sell it for money to give it to Ruohai.. win-win! 🙌 And I absolutely loved how despite Yifei’s attempts, he still listened to Fei ordering him around and even doing all the moving for her… And when I remember how different he was with all these tasks when he first started living with her... Like a completely different person. 😂

Sang Shiqi, Ms Fang and Zhao De got arrested, but what will happen to the main culprit Liao Jinshan? How will they take him down? 🤨 Ms Fang clearly looked very disappointed with the outcome of her shady games, but those were the choices she made and there’s no one else to blame for it. Her whole posture was different, and her usual confidence was gone when she met Fei and Yifei at the doors of the Police Department. The hug Fei gave her before leaving probably made her feeling of guilt even heavier. 😔Very happy about Liao Shiyu, by the way. 👏 I don’t even think she was bad at the start either, but now, when she’s taken her stand against her father, has decided to forge her own path in the business world and has lost some of her arrogance that was born out of jealousy… wonderful character arc! 🤗Fei playing hard to get with Yifei all the time… but she said it right — if she’s worth it and they are meant to be together, he will be patient….😌 And when I wanted to tell her that maybe she should draw some line where she should stop that game, he actually said he’s quite alright with it. And if they both are fine with it, then I am too! 😆🥰

Ok, now I get it... I survived the previous episode to get this treat. This episode gave me more thrill than their whole love story combined throughout all the episodes, which says a lot. 🤨 I really enjoyed the car chase, the investigation, the secret missions, the suspense whether they succeed or not, or will she survive, for that matter... And omg, I didn’t expect Zhao De to be the mole! 😮 I lowkey suspected him at some point, but overlooked it later… mostly because I kind of liked the guy. 🥲 That proves just once more that the nicest ones and seemingly the most trustworthy are actually the most dangerous ones. And he actually was in a great position for that role — always near Yifei, had access to all his documents... At least they won't trust him anymore! 😤I did love the hospital scene because it said everything without using any words…. 🤫❤️
