Definitely agree with that you're saying, and I hope you're right because it's more interesting that way.

Why does episode 3 feel like a episode 18 lol
Definitely! It seems way too soon for the killer to have been uncovered AND on the verge of being caught. I keep thinking there has to be something else at play - plus, what's the moral of the story if the Head Hunter's son is also a murderer? Especially when he's clearly not the kid who supposedly killed his family at the start. There must be some kind of fakeout still regarding which kid is which.

Is Im Shi Wan still on for this? I thought they got Eunwoo on board cause he refused the role
That's correct. Eunwoo is now the one playing the priest. I think the confusion stems from the fact that he has a Korean name and an American name, so MDL has both actors listed as separate names.

Seo Jin should lose her position in society too, of course. She doesn't have to be the one to punish them; the narrative does.

I just hope the bullies in this drama are treated the way celebrity bullies are being treated now. Which the School Violence movement as big as it right now in Korea, their most popular drama should try to reflect that attitude and thoroughly punish the aggressors without excusing them.

I believe the kid who killed his step-dad is the child of the woman who met Head hunter 's pregnant wife in the…
Oh, dang! That will be incredibly sad if so, seeing as the other lady wanted to have her child and believed he would be a good person. It would be heartbreaking if he grew up to be evil, but I definitely look forward to seeing the clarification of who is who tomorrow!

I am incredibly confused by what I have just witnessed, so I am going to need to read everyone else's comments very carefully, lol. SPOILERS:
Basically, the wife of the Head Hunter remarried and had two more kids, right? But her eldest son is displaying psychopathic tendencies, killed the family's fish and dog, and now may have killed the step-father according to the final scene of the drama. But he also may have just walked in and been branded the killer because of his previous behavior.
And then that kid who apparently killed his step-dad becomes Seunggi as an adult????? Is that the connection?

If you want to see him playing a bubblier role, Rookie Historian and Best Hit are your ticket.

Person Cha Eun Woo
I'd love to see him in something darker and more mature.
He's just been cast as an exorcist in the supernatural thriller Island, so you got your wish!

Ive never seen chaewoon act with ANY emotion so im really scared about him playing as the priest, especially since…
He has an upbeat personality in both Rookie Historian and Best Hit, so if you want to research, there you go. Also in his daily life, lol. As for showing other forms of emotion, I think you'd have to be closing your eyes and ears to not notice the emotions he was displaying in the last 6 episodes of True Beauty.

Aren't Kang Chan Hyuk and Yohan the same character? I thought Siwan passed on the role and now Eunwoo is in talks.

Jeez, fans can be so rude! I'm just glad the vast majority of the Korean audience really enjoyed the show and the changes, so that most of the comments Lee Sieun herself has to read are positive.

Agreed, on the contrary to what some ppl said about her, I find the screenwriter here did an excellent job making…
Agreed. I appreciated things like incorporating Jugyeong being bullied so we see that it's not her being/feeling ugly, it's her feeling insecure BECAUSE societal standards are literally hurting her. And seeing how the change in her mother's behavior helped her self-esteem, too, made the message of the story clearer and more powerful imo.

Its not about her wanting to change it, it was completely fine if she did. But her intentions, in my opinion,…
There are so many changes I prefer in the drama that I can't totally agree, although of course you're 100% entitled to your opinion and your rating.

But I DO agree about there being so many well fleshed-out supporting characters - Jugyeong's entire family got more life and story breathed into them, Sua and Taehoon were some of the most adorable people ever, and of course Teacher Han the grapefruit was hysterical.

And I also agree that Sujin and Seojun could have just as easily had superior storylines that didn't involve the main loveline without losing their charm - but I think the main loveline is what brings the buzz and engagement, and that's why the production kept Seojun hanging and Sujin "breaking bad."

Even before reading Lee Sieun's interview answers, I thought it was pretty obvious that she had begun writing when Suho was clearly still the male lead (and I think he still will be in the webtoon, but that's another story). I genuinely feel the drama did a good job of tying the necessary themes together. The only things I'd change are not making Sujin a villain and letting Seojun move on after episode 12, but I think Jugyeong and Suho's stories were handled surprisingly well.

I just want to give her some props because the webtoon went in circles for like 60 chapters after Suho left and is only just now getting somewhere the drama got in 8 episodes.

This was a really sweet story! I think my only issue was that I didn't really *get* why Jiwoo was so resistant, other than someone has to be for tension lol.
