Okay I'm stll confused why the writers didn't make Suho call LJK and tell her he's gonna be gone for 2 years ???Like…
I think the preview shows him saying something like "I don't know when I'll be back, so be happy without me." I'm assuming that's him breaking up with her, and then when he comes back he doesn't give notice because he probably assumes she hates him or whatever.
Eunwoo posted a blog on Astro's channel from the early days of True Beauty filming! There's some behind-the-scenes of the first few eps in it, and it's helpful for everyone who has been asking what his "real voice" sounds like lol: https://youtu.be/DReAkVyuvMI
So end episode 14... and I am gonna take this a different way to most of the comments i've read here so far -…
Totally agree about Heegyeong and Junwoo! I do think Suho and Jugyeong will have to "find their way back" when he returns to Korea, but I don't think their feelings will have changed at all. Like you said, it would be way too rushed to change things in 2 episodes after all the Suho/Jugyeong and Suho/Seojun buildup. Especially when the theme of the drama is healing.
Imagine staying forever alone virgin rather than moving on s normal people would do. Sounds like a fairy tale,…
They're not married, they're teenagers. This comment seems so heartless. How do you have so much empathy for Seojun and his unrequited crush, and none for Suho and the only family member he has left - who he only got back on good terms with - possibly dying or being terminally ill?
Suho breaks up with Jugyeong because he can't leave the US and he's overwhelmed taking care of his father. He is letting her go because he wants her to be happy and not burdened by him. Even so, she still doesn't fall for Seojun - because Suho is the one she loves. Maybe Seojun is the one who needs to move on?
why the rating is so low in korea :( i ithink this drama is fun, if you have spare time you can watch it
It's actually not that low! It has the highest ratings of its timeslot/night for dramas, and the second highest ratings for TVN in that timeslot in the last year. The problem is that A) it's for teenagers, and teenagers don't watch TV on a TV, and B) it's up against Mister Trot, a variety show EVERYONE in Korea watches, like it literally gets 25% of the ratings.
Me reading the comments before watching ep 14: oh wow this is gonna be some major love triangle drama with an…
The only reason it's considered a love triangle is because of the source material, honestly. If you watch with no awareness of the webtoon, then Seojun's loveline is written like every SML's. Unrequited feelings and friendship. It can't even be compared to Start-Up, where the SML had a history with the FL and she actually DID love him as a child.
Guys!! I just realized something! The ost “I’m missing you” has the lyrics:“I’m missing youWaiting for…
I love this! You're totally right. Not to mention that Eunwoo's OST still hasn't been released, and will clearly be the last one they make available. Who's gonna be listening to him sing "Love So Fine" if Suho and Jugyeong aren't endgame?
haven't watched this after episode 9 so im not in a place to judge. But still i saw some spoiler parts here and…
To be fair, nothing yet has given Seojun himself hope. He knew Jugyeong liked Suho the whole time, and then they were dating. Even the "break-up" in episode 14 was just because Suho had to go to America to take care of his father who got really sick. The preview for episode 15 shows that it's been 2 years and Seojun has been holding it in, but finally wants to tell her. I don't think it's a matter of him having hope, but rather the opposite: he can't let her go until he's confirmed there is no hope. I personally think the drama has done justice to Suho and Jugyeong's relationship while the webtoon just kicked him to the curb after 60 chapters, but I totally understand that if you're a fan of the second season of the webtoon, then it feels very unfair.
The airport scene is very relatable. I cant help but cry. The way she tried to hold her tears and cried hard when…
I don't think it's a waste for Seojun because he does love Jugyeong as a friend as well. It's not like he's only next to her in order to get his chance, so I hope the ending is happiness for all three.
Without debating who she ends up with, the CHEMISTRY of SJ and LJG is off the charts, the unrequited love is always…
I mean, Jugyeong not loving Seojun is the the only valid reason needed. I obviously see chemistry between Eunwoo and Gayoung, but I don't need you to because the story is still pointing to them. Thankfully, Inyeop will get a male lead role very soon, and then you will hopefully get chemistry AND narrative out of his romance.
- I think Seojun and Jugyeong are just friends, although ofc he still has feelings because kdramas never let the…
I accept this amendment! But either way, I think Jugyeong will be a little upset that he was gone so long before inevitably loving him too much to quit lol.
I once again have to give my opinion on the preview, because people end up focusing more on it than on the episode…
- I think Seojun and Jugyeong are just friends, although ofc he still has feelings because kdramas never let the second lead move on. - Suho comes come back and thinks they're dating! Sad times for him. - When he realizes they're not (probably Seojun having a talk with him), Jugyeong still lies and says she didn't miss him because she's pissed he fell into the kdrama black hole of having no internet in a foreign country. - But then Jugyeong reads the message Suho left for her, realizes he is boy from her childhood and runs crying to him. He gives the usual "I would have missed you too much and had to come back" line, make out. - Seojun debuts as an idol with a song Suho wrote for him, and Jugyeong does his makeup. Besties forever!
Ep 14 was perfect all rounder & break every norm of clicheness (I love this drama freakin' much, all the joy they…
This is EXACTLY how I feel! The episode was so good and then once again the ending and preview rip it away, lol. But I just keep reminding myself the drama is being marketed as a "healing" one, so of course all of our leads must end up happy.
