Suho is breaking my heart in the promo for episode 11 and the stills that just came out. Even though it hurts, I'm glad he's finally going to let out all the pain and anger he's been feeling. It's the only way he can start to heal, because bottling it up has done nothing but give him panic attacks. Not to mention that no one around him can really be there for him the way he is for them because he doesn't let them know when he's hurting - unless they accidentally walk in on it like Jugyeong did.
Also, Eunwoo has been doing such a great job these last few episodes. I feel like he really cares about and understands Suho. <3
*MAJOR PLOT SPOILER*So ive gotta question for those who have read the toon. How do you think theyre going to work…
To be completely honest, I think that Suho *will* have to leave for some reason or another near the end of the drama. Just because one of the leads has to leave 90% of the time. The question is whether they'll insert Jugyeong and Seojun dating in that interim or not, because I promise you they won't have Eunwoo sit out more than half of one episode. So, whether you'd be happy with half an episode of them dating before Suho returns and they "make their way back" or not is one thing. Kdramas don't usually have a woman date both male leads - the last huge triangle was Start Up and the SML had only just worked up the courage to ask FL out when ML returned after 3 years - but it's not out of the question.
First, congrats for True Beauty for reaching its highest ratings today - 4.265% average with a peak of 5.8% for the final scene!
As for the episode itself, I laughed in nearly every scene and awwed at Suho and Jugyeong attempts at secret dating, but I'm so sad that we're dwelling on Sujin and Seojun's unrequited feelings. I am personally biased towards Sujin so it really hurts me to see her pure and supportive friendship with Jugyeong be slowly eroded by her discovery that the latter is dating Suho. On the flipside, I was hoping Suho and Seojun would begin to work towards an understanding, which at the moment it seems like neither boy cares about pursuing.
Park Hosan as Jugyeong's dad had me in STITCHES, though, and every scene between him and Suho was a blessing. Plus the Parasite homage in the final scene, when he was under the table watching Jugyeong and Suho on their date? I screamed.
Anyway, here's hoping that with Certain Events in the preview, the boys will finally inch closer...
The jiu jitsu stills got me thinking: something I love about Suho's character, and that yet brings me pain, is that he is a fixer by nature. He feels compelled to fix the problems of the people he loves. If Jugyeong's grades are low, he'll drill poets and kings into her head. If Seojun's mom is sick, he'll use his connections to get her the best doctors. If bullies torment Jugyeong, he makes them apologize and now apparently teaches her self-defense.
All of this is exactly why he's carrying the burden of guilt over Seyeon's death, and also why Seojun is blaming him too. Seyeon trusted Suho to fix it because Suho fixes everything, and Seojun thought the same. But because he missed the call, he couldn't fix it and it becomes something he broke in both his eyes and Seojun's.
I love that the first kiss happened without JG's makeup. I think (and hope!) that speaks of their endgame. He…
It was such an important moment, agreed. I know people wanted it like the webtoon, but for me it's so meaningful that her first love/confession/kiss happened in a situation where the other person saw the real her and said to her face that's what they liked.
Does anyone else think that maybe Suho is Leo, that wrote songs with the idol that committed suicide. Sorry i…
It's definitely Suho! He wouldn't need a music room otherwise, and like the other user said, he played an unreleased song for Jugyeong that no one had heard. Plus, Seojun looked annoyed when Heegyeong brought up Leo... because he knows it's Suho.
I return to give you news of this week's Good Data for Korean Dramas. True Beauty is #5 for shows Eunwoo is #4, Gayoung is #5 and Inyeop is #10 for actors
no one is hating on EunWoo/Suho, it is even the fans are divided into the two main male leads but Suho is endgame…
Two of the comments were just a few posts below this one. I hope that people can just relax from here on out, but I know I can't control anyone's feelings or posts. Better for me to relax and just visit here less lmao.
I really appreciate this comment. It makes me sad to see everyone calling her a villain or evil when all she's…
I think the change was that she realized he paid attention and worried about her, which made her heart flutter and then be like, "oh? does that make me special?"
A lot of people are getting annoyed by soo Jin because she’s getting in the way of suho and joo gyung relationship…
I really appreciate this comment. It makes me sad to see everyone calling her a villain or evil when all she's doing is realizing her own feelings and trying to make a move. Like you said, Jugyeong hasn't told her about her feelings yet AND Sujin's known Suho all her life. If she makes a few missteps in the "name of love," which of these characters hasn't?
" These kinda of small acting features are really hard" they're not, it's called facial expression...Hwang IY…
His character isn't supposed to be using that many facial expressions, that's the whole point. If you watch the behind the scenes, he smiles at the games being played at the director tells him to quit lol. Like, ok, you think the other actors are better. But other people are allowed to think he's good too.
Okay another thing...I started paying much attention to CEWs acting coz some people made him look such a crap…
THIS! I think he's great at expressing with his eyes while not using his whole face - which he's literally being told not to use by the director himself because that's the character.
How do you know she's getting evil? She hasn't done anything worse than Seojun yet, and she doesn't even know…
All I'm saying is that this doesn't make Sujin evil. I see no reason to believe Sujin will become evil just because she and Jugyeong like the same boy - just like neither Suho nor Seojun are evil just because they make mistakes. I'm positive that even if Sujin tries to "win over" Suho, or is upset that Jugyeong "stole him," the girls will make up and shift focus to the fact that Sujin is in a truly dangerous situation at home.

Congrats to the cast and crew for staying watercooler convo even when the traditional ratings aren't high! https://www.instagram.com/p/CJ7RvKrJpOt/
