Is it weird that I'm over the love triangle already and I'm just interested in Soojin's home life and her and…
I hate love triangles in general, so yes. I mean, I do ship Suho and Jugyeong, but that's a given. So I'm 100% here for Sujin and her friends finding out what's going on at home.
It is his real voice, yes. He speaks a little lower than normal as Suho, because idols are taught to speak higher for their stage gig, but it's him speaking.
I'm really loving this drama so far. It's a little dose of happiness in a very dramatic world. There are cringe moments, but I think they're played with a chuckle from the production team, if that makes sense. I LOVE Jugyeong, and Moon Gayoung's portrayal is perfect. She's kind and warm, and brave for others but frightened for herself. Definitely the kind of heroine I adore. I want to give Suho a hug because he badly needs it, but I love how the romance has been set up from mutual understanding and then friendship and now the whole high school crush thing. I also think Eunwoo fits Suho really well. Park Yoona and Inyeop are also kicking ass, and overall there is no character or actor in the cast that feels out of place to me. I know many webtoon fans are mad about certain scenes being switched, but I think the context needs to be considered too. Suho putting the bandaid on Jugyeong or returning her wallet held weight in the drama *because* he's the only one that knows her bare face. Meanwhile, they are adding moments for Seojun that hold weight for his character - like we're actually seeing him deal with his mom and sister, with the thugs, and even with Suho's dad.
The 25 minute episodes are throwing off the pacing for me. I really like this version of Dae Sung, and So Ju Yeon is always great, but I feel like making the male lead so much warmer and smiley just kind of erodes the story itself. I mean, at least it's more understandable why she likes him and he seems like less of a jerk. But as ridiculous as he was in the Chinese original, that was kind of the whole point. He couldn't relate to anyone but she could relate to him, and he had to get over himself to give her what she deserved, whereas I don't know what obstacles they would even have here.
In the drama it'll definitely be Suho, as per the relationship chart and the fact that he was the only guy in the first episode and the only guy she likes 6 episodes in lol. The webtoon is currently debatable, but the most recent chapters are moving her back towards Suho (and in the high school chapters, Suho was also the "male lead").
Well it's you clear that you have already seen my post underneath. We can just agree to disagreeHowever, i do…
I didn't read your other comments, because I already understand your point. You don't like his acting and see where he could improve, I do like his acting even as I see where he could improve, that's fine and we can go on about our days. I was just giggling about my own literal interpretation of constructive criticism based on Dreamy's comment.

This made me giggle, because you're right. Eunwoo's not going to read the MDL comment section, so criticism of his acting on it literally can't be constructive.
True Beauty is killing it in Korea!! The first actor Brand Reputation of the year came out, Eunwoo is #2, Gayoung is #5, Inyeop is #11, and Park Yoona is #31. That's so good! https://n.news.naver.com/entertain/article/112/0003384430
Why do you think Cha Eun Woo is a bad actor? I truly don't understand and have like thousand question marks in…
I don’t think he’s a bad actor so I can’t really help you lol. I feel like for some reason he has a lot of spotlight on him that other new actors don’t - probably because he’s already famous on his own - and that makes people call attention to any discrepancies they would let slide or wouldn’t even notice otherwise. But all I’ve seen from knetz and media is comments on how much he’s improved, so that’s good news.
It depends. Everyone has their definitions of what they like in an actor. And what they see in acting. I am not…
I think he’s especially good at action scenes, which is something we were totally unaware of before True Beauty. I obviously think he’s doing well in the role and look forward to his continued improvement, but I’m not interested in arguing the point as long as no one is attacking him or pointlessly saying he should be recast.
I'm sure they are mostly checking korean data, but I believe they use various social media platforms. It's limited to kdramas and korean actors, though.
Happy New Year, everyone! Just thought I'd share some cool data (or rather Good Data) for True Beauty from the last week: True Beauty was #3 in most-talked about dramas Gayoung was #6 and Eunwoo was #7 in most talked about actors True Beauty was #4 in most searched dramas Eunwoo was #4, Inyeop was #9 and Gayoung #10 in most searched actors https://www.instagram.com/p/CJXOSlKpun2/ https://www.instagram.com/p/CJaJimdJl5j/
The webtoon's writing honestly traumatised me into hating love triangles even more since in the webtoon, the love…
I'm not sure if you're already watching, but the drama has made it clear her main romance is with Suho. The relationship chart has their affection as mutual, while Sujin and Seojun are unrequited in their respective feelings. Plus, in the first 6 eps it's pretty clear who Jugyeong has feelings for lol.
Don't mean to sound judgmental before watching the show but it seems kind of cringey. Again just basing this off…
There's definitely a bit of cheese, but it's pretty self-aware in its comedy and its romance. The show is deeper than the first trailers would suggest, and it's very big on "learning to love yourself" and "sharing your pain with others so you can Heal Together" lol. Obviously coming from a very different place than Uncanny Counter, but I think the relationship dynamics of both shows are what make them enjoyable.
I would change dear eunwoo with other actor. He will do well if its taiwan drama. Still need to improve his acting.…
eunwoo is doing great and i wouldn't change him at all. saying he'd be fine if this was a taiwanese drama seems like a really random and unnecessary dig at taiwan, but okay.
Do you want me to tell u what happens between them? Basically Nothing happens between them, soojin in the webtoon…
Same! I guess we can assume he was different before Seyeon's death, but we will have to see if they dive into it. The promo for next week's episode suggests that he will actually show some concern for her, since she's the person he's hugging at the end, so that's good! Even if it means Jugyeong gets jealous lol.
U know what ost i want? That how do you do that Seojun sang, TT it was so perfect
That song is "How Do You Do" by Chani, who plays Seyeon. It's the same song Suho was listening to in the first episode, and it'll probably be released in two weeks or so.
ok this is a very unpopular opinion that i'm almost scared to say it lol. I'm caught up now and honestly when…
I enjoy their friendly banter, but since Jugyeong isn't into him like that, I see no reason to root for them as more than friends haha. So I totally agree with you!
