The drama is crazy popular worldwide! True Beauty, TrueBeautyEp8, Suho, Seojun, and Eunwoo were all trending at various points throughout the day. Sure would be nice if Gayoung and Jugyeong could trend too!

He called Suho a murderer and said he doesn't deserve happiness? I would say that's worse than anything Sujin has done.

Someone below called Eunwoo nothing but a statue that can't express emotion. Someone before that said he's lucky he's pretty because he wouldn't have a career otherwise. Someone said they don't believe Suho's feelings because of his "constantly sour face."
I'm confident this is considered "hating Eunwoo/Suho," because I know that if anyone said something like that about Inyeop or Seojun, they would be called toxic. I don't want to insult any of the actors or characters, but I think it's right to acknowledge that *some* people are attacking Eunwoo because of their feelings on the drama.

That moment was so cute! Although it made me sad that the dad was so happy to hear even a "thank you" from his wife, it's sweet how he stood by her and reminded her of happier days.

I genuinely do not believe they would turn a character who started off as a loyal friend and was revealed to be a victim of domestic violence into a bad person. She may make a few mistakes because of her feelings for Suho, but I am 100% sure she will be a good friend in the end.

I believe Suho pushed her away thinking Seojun was right, that Jugyeong would hate him if she knew he "killed his friend." But then she came to him on the rooftop and told him "I know everything" and held him while he cried, so he no longer feels that burden with her. He tried to explain to her why he was so rude at the start of ep 6, but the fire escape cut him off. I believe we are supposed to just assume from there that he is no longer planning to push her away because the reason to do so disappeared - plus then she DID pull away, and he hated that, so it canceled out his desire to push as well.

I wasn't shitting on him - I said they were both acting out of their feelings. Sujin has genuine feelings for Suho too, and she's known him her whole life. Why can't we understand where she's coming from too? Jugyeong just rolled in and now Suho is into her just as Sujin was ready to realize and act on her feelings. The only thing she's done so far is pass a jacket along, that's all I'm saying.

I don't think it's fair to assume why someone else would like Suho better, especially not if you're reducing him to being hotter. I am not any more attracted to Eunwoo than I am to Inyeop, I simply think that Suho is depressed and introverted soul who is deeply hurting and blaming himself - something I personally relate to - and yet who goes out of his way to protect the people he cares about.
Even when he and Seojun were at war, he stepped up and took the blame for the cafeteria fight to keep Seojun out of trouble, and took the hits from the thugs, etc. You don't have to like him, that's perfectly fine, but there are reasons someone else would. I love that he sees the real Jugyeong and not only still likes her, but actively tells her she's pretty and that she's worked hard and that he's proud of her. Even when he blows hot and cold, which is unfair of him to do, I appreciate that it's the growing pains of breaking out of his shell after Seyeon's death.

How do you know she's getting evil? She hasn't done anything worse than Seojun yet, and she doesn't even know Jugyeong likes Suho. I feel like it's really unfair that people have been judging her since before the show started while continually defending and understanding Seojun. Aren't they both acting out of feelings they can't control for someone who doesn't like them back?

As for the episode 9 promo: The supposed break up is going to be as fake as the one where Suho asks her out haha. I'm positive that either it's a scenario in Jugyeong's imagination or it's a line said in a totally different content with a totally different intent.

I adored the last scene - and the behind the scenes for it even more - but the misunderstandings throughout the episode were SO frustrating. Just talk to each other, silly high school kids!
Meanwhile, I feel so bad for Sujin now that she's realizing she likes Suho FAR too late. But I'm of course happy that Suho confessed to Jugyeong while she was bare-faced, and they finally got to move forward. Even more than that, the scene where he plays Seyeon's unreleased song for her and takes a photo even though he hates them? This is why I love them together. They're vulnerable and real with each other, and they don't judge each other but instead just listen and understand.
Plus: this 100% convinces me that Suho is the composer Leo and he will give Seyeon's songs to Seojun, allowing Seojun to start his idol career and honor their friend in one go. I can't wait for them to take down Suho's dad with Heegyeong, because that man gotta go!

I think the character was a reference to him, for sure! because chilbong was always direct with the FL too while the ML just waited. Love the mash-up of that with the Extraordinary You cameo.

Oh, yeah. I forgot to mention that I love how getting closer to Jugyeong has either forced Suho to open up to others (such as Tae Hoon and the study group in general) or reminded him to access his nurturing side every once in awhile, such as going after Sujin and comforting her. He's really coming out of his shell and *living* again, which is lovely to see.

I really don't think she will be, and she certainly won't get any nastier than Seojun was towards Suho when the show started. I think she'll go more the sad but giving her blessing path.

Yes, that was so lovely! Even when he runs hot and cold, he makes her feel good about herself when it counts.

I loved Dohwa in Extraordinary You, but I think the extended cameo took much needed time away from Sujin's storyline. That being said, I'm glad that we got a better look at her home life - which breaks my heart - and that Suho was able to be there for her.
Of course that means misunderstandings, but it's clear that he and Jugyeong like each other, so we just have to move on from love triangle shenanigans and move *towards* the relationship and the Suho/Seojun friendship, which we got an adorable snippet of this week!

Gayoung is definitely one of my favorite young actresses, especially after Find My In Your Memory. I suffered through Tempted just for her, because she really can elevate any material. I'm so glad she got the role in TB, but I totally agree that she deserves as much hype as - or more than - the boys.

You may not know this, but Eunwoo actually gained the vast majority of his fans from acting. His acting helps boost Astro, not the other way around. So say what you will about people who enjoy him in dramas, they (or we, because I first saw him in dramas too without knowing about his group) aren't taking his idol status or singing skills into account.

There's two episodes this week, no worry!

I wish it wasn't like this, because it IS her show and she's doing amazing work. But thankfully, her great performance is being acknowledged everywhere and people are actually rooting for Jugyeong's happiness. Which is more than I can say for a whole lot of dramas - asian or western - that involve love triangles. The woman always gets the short end of the stick.
