Title Tomorrow Spoiler
In my opinion, i think Jae Soon father still died after they have that conversation, because if he didn`t died…
I did understand why most things were writed this way, but there were some things i wish were handled better. I still feel there were some things that are confusing and people have to assume the way some things happened because otherwise some things doesn`t make sense. Because some things were left to our imagination, i think every version someone come up with is right to a certain degree.
I was left with this impression that his father has said many times to Jae Soon that " failure means you should try again", he hasn`t said it to him for the first time that night, this is the impression i got.
I think that Jae Soon has a good impression of his father. It`s just that because his father has said to him that " failure means you should try again" but in the end he has died by suicide ( this is what i think it happen in the original past), he was a bit disappointed on him and this has always affected him. This the impression i got from the conversations Jae Soo had with Joon Wong in the first two eps too, i always had this feeling like there was something sad and tragic related to his father.

I was so confused on this. They saved a person from death and the future wasn't changed?jaesoons father didn't…
Why his father couldn`t have commited suicide that night? His father could still have commited suicide right after having that conversation with his wife and Jae Soon, but it wasn`t showed.
My point is, Jae Soon father have to have died in the same period he is supposed to have died originally if his suicide wasn`t stopped, because if he hasn`t died, then Jae Soon future would have changed.
I think he would have to die by suicide too and close to the time he should have died, because otherwise things would have changed more for Jae Soon.
I am sure that the fact that his father has died by suicide and the fact that he had such a difficult life in the past was the reason why Jae Soon wanted to try for the police academy and the reason why his depression has become worse, so if those two things are changed, then his future would have been changed more.
You see, this is the thing when the past is changed, it has to be done well, because otherwise the story will have loopholes.

I was so confused on this. They saved a person from death and the future wasn't changed?jaesoons father didn't…
It was heavily implied his father would have commited suicide if he wasn`t stopped, and has commited suicide in his original past, it doesn`t make sense otherwise. Like his father would have commited suicide if Goo Ryun and Joo Woon wouldn`t have stopped his car, and prevented his suicide.
Even if Jae Soo has never said it, it was heavily implied.
It was really really obvious his father has died in the original past before eating chicken with Jae Soo. When Jae Soo has said he missed eating chicken with his father, he meant that he has managed to eat chicken with him in other ocasions, like they have eaten together chicken before but they didn`t managed to eat chicken before his dad died and this is one of the things he regretted the most, this and the look he has realised his father had before he died.
So, in my opinion, he still has commited suicide after, because if he didn`t died at that time, Jae Soon future would have changed, and it didn`t changed.

In my opinion, i think Jae Soo father still died after they have that conversation, because if he didn`t died i doubt Jae Soo future will remain the same. If something as big as someone important in Jae Soo life didn`t die, i am sure his future will change too. If he wouldn`t have died, then the story has a huge loophole here, because is impossible Jae Soo future will not be changed at all.
The fact that he is shown he has taken the same path, is an indication that his father still died after, this is my opinion on it.

The fact that he is shown he has taken the same path, is an indication that his father still died after, this is my opinion on it.
In the end, the fact that the child Jae Soo has eaten the fried chicken with his father in the past and that his family had that conversation is the things used to prevent Jae Soon suicide, so the fact that they changed the past is the crucial thing that prevented Jae Soon suicide. The reason Jae Soon always regretted was seeing that look of helpless and desperation on his father face and not being able to eat that fried chicken with him. But Goo Ryun and Joo Woong has changed those two things which has made it possible for them to convince Jae Soo to not kill himself in the end.
Basically Go Ryun and Joo Woong took the easier choice because they could have just bought the fried chcken and return to the present and try to convince Jae Soon to not commit suicide using other means. If it would have worked or not is another matter, but at least they wouldn`t heve to change the past.

That's the original junwoong character in the webtoon. But in the drama they make his character more emphatic…
I know. I checked the webtoon too. But what works in the webtoon might not work as well in a live adaptation of it. Like they could have made him less kind and warm and more realistic.
It can get annoying if he keeps acting like this all the time. Like, there are persons like him in real life, but they have taken it too far with him, his kindness and way of doing this are too ideal, i don't know how to explain it better.
Maybe it would be better if they would have not made any change to him and left him be like in the webtoon .
It may also be that i don't especially like to watch characters like him, i enjoy watching characters that are a little more complex and edgy. It's good the other characters are more interesting and have a lot more depth.

I really like this drama, but i can`t ignore the fact that the way they handled Namgoong Jae Soo is not right. It`s basically cheating and taking advantage of the fact that they can change the past just because they can, disregarding everything else. Disregarding the fact that the past shouldn`t be changed because it can result in a lot of things going wrong. What Goo Ryun and Joon Woong has done is taking the easy way out. They have chosen to change the past than trying to work on who Jae Soo is in the present. It gives the impression that if they did like this with Jae Soo, why they can`t do it like this with all other people that they have to save, is really irresponsable.

I am bothered a lot by Joon Woong character too, because the way he acts is not only iresponsable and reckless, he acts childish most of the time. Like he is an adult, but he doesn`t act his age at all. If it was only a few times, i will ignore it, but i really don`t like the way his character acts. I was so angry when Joo Woong has decided to change his past too, like who gives him the right, some things should stay the same. He has become the person he is because things has gone the way they have gone in the past. Why change them? At least it didn`t brought big changes but is not funny to see both Joo Woong and Goo Ryun messing with the past so easily without thinking about the consequences they can bring. And Goo Ryun has helped him, even through she knew they have no right to change the past. There is inconsistency in the way the characters are writed and is not enjoyable to watch.

I will delete from my memory the case of Jae Soo because i know no all cases will be like this.
Beside those things, i like everything else about ep 4. I was happy things were back on the right track again.

I really really like Joong Gil and Im Ryung, they are really cool and interesting characters. Goo Ryun can be really interesting to watch most of the time, but there are those OOC ( out of character) moments that doesn`t sit well with me.

The overall production of the drama is really good, the acting is great, almost everything is great with the exception of some small issues i have with the writing, so for me this drama is currently. 9/10.

I think we all know there isn't going to be any major romance plot between any of the main leads here (I think…
Goo Ryun and Joong Gil. I can`t ignore that chemistry that they have whrn they are together on screen.

I KNOW THAT THE GENRE ISNT ROMANCE BUT I SHIP GOO RYUN AND PARK JOONG GIRL SO FREAKING MUCH, THEIR CHEMISTRY IS…
Yes, same.
My conclusion after checking many of Lee Soo Hyuk dramas is that even through some of his dramas somehow end up disappointedly for me ( this only applies to me), he manages to have insane chemistry with his costars. I think this is his his biggest strength, beside his good looks and good acting skills.
To my surprise, i really enjoy watching this drama and i really really love his role in this drama.
Kim Hee Sun does amazing in this drama too. I think this drama will make her even more popular, because she is really charismatic here.
But, like you said, i doubt the drama will have romance, so i will take what i can.
The story does have some things that doesn`t make 100% sense, like some of the characters actions come across like OOC ( OUT OF CHARACTER) but i will ignore it, because the entertainment value is 100%. I also love dramas with stories like this, which manages to handle sensitive themes in a sensible and careful way while having many funny moments to balance the heavy scenes.

It's been four days and I had to come back to crank up my rating because I literally haven't stopped thinking…
You are not the only one. There are many people who are still thinking of the story and the characters even through a lot of time has passed since they watched the drama.
This drama can be really addicting for people who really like the story.
It`s been more than three months, because i watched it while it was airing, but there is not a day where i am not thinking about the story and the characters.
And this is something that never happened to me until now, with any drama and movie. It`s insane.
I keep rewatching parts of the drama and i keep listening to fanMVs made. I really don`t know when i will be able to move on, i literally don`t know if i can.

She will, but it will not because of KAMISAMA involvement. Actually Kamisama has a really sad past, a really tragic one and i am curious if it will be shown in the drama. If people pay attention, there are moments where his facial expressions reveal that he is not enjoying all the messy or sad things that are happening.

Title Kamisama no Ekohiiki Spoiler
You explained it so well. This is what i was refering in my previous comment when i`ve said that the drama handled…
Rin will come to accept quickly that the Kagura that she has fallen in love with not longer exists when Yashiro returns to his body, because she has the time to prepare for it. In ep 6, is really obvious that Rin has accepted that she doesn`t have any chances to end up with Kagura and she has decided to help Yashiro return to his body.
In the manga, Kagura doesn`t really exists, she isn`t a real person but a vessel that the GOD has made, so she disappears after Yashiro returns to his body. But, even if this is changed in the drama, it will have the same result.
Rin has another love interest in the manga, is the guy she has meet in that blind date, named Yukihiko.
This guy might look like a playboy but he really likes Rin, he is quite a mature guy and he has a similar experience as Rin. Yukihiko is bisexual in the manga, the same as all the main characters haahhaa. He has dated a guy seriously, but that guy has discovered that he is transgender so he changes his appearance to look like a woman. After, Yukihiko has realised that he couldn`t see the person he has fallen in love after the change in appearance and they break up.
Rin meet up with Yukihiko accidentally again and Yukihiko manage to make her start to like being in his presence and they start meeting each other.
From the two scenes they had together in the drama, Rin and Yukihiko get along well, they understand each other, they are really alike. Both like to fall in love and meet new people, but they are serious about love in general.
The last scene that shows Rin in the manga is the fact that there are rumours that she has got a new boyfriend. While she denies indignantly that she would date this "kind of guy ", like he doesn`t deserve her (you know how she is), is directly implied that she has found someone that she really likes again.

I can't take the last two episodes out of my head. It's really nice that they didn't lazily go the "what matters…
You explained it so well. This is what i was refering in my previous comment when i`ve said that the drama handled all the things that i didn`t really liked in the manga in a much better way.
The manga didn`t addressed in depth all those things that the drama showed, and is great because it adds depth to the story and it offers something to people to contemplate and deeply think about.
Rin is in the most ugly situation, and i am really sorry for her, even more than in the manga. Well, things will work out for her in the end, so hope the drama will show this.
I am so touched that the drama has taken this route, but i really hope it will go on the right path in the next ep because otherwise it will deviate too much from what happens in the manga, and the story will lose it`s direction.
On Kamisama no Ekohiiki Apr 5, 2022
EP 5 is so so good. I really liked how things happened this ep, because it handled all the things that i didn`t really liked in the manga in a much better way.
Starting ep 6, it seems things will evolve a bit differently compared to the manga, but i am sure it will be a fun ride.
Ep 6 is not bad, but i do hope things are going to be solved in ep 7, because the story is much more complicated than in the manga and i am afraid that the end will be rushed otherwise.
But i have to give this drama the credit from presenting in a realistic way not only the advantages but also the disavantages that switching bodies and becoming another person entails.
