love the same genre, love kingdom. ddont love cops but i love nuts stuff. i read ur synopsis but skipped to the body because i want to discover it as i go, but your review til now has me scared!!!!
ljh is a king obviously but you know. maybe ill rewatch stranger. hopefully there's gonna be some cool crazy dramas coming up that are strong if this isnt too strong.
please tell me about your thoughts on ITSAY? i stopped for personal and political reasons but i personally think…
a lot of protests were going on in thailand about the government and military coup, class disparities, etc so a bunch of actors were speaking up about it and people were expecting bkpp to because the show was going on at the time but to no avail. this kinda stuff is super important to me so it definitely dampened something for me. really happy that young kids can get something this heavy and good.
i was talking about ITSAY hahaha. the last strtch was contrived a bit but OTOH i'm like...isthis bc im old? lol
last ep of CM i can agree with you tho and honestly they should have done a kiss it would have really cinched it

ok wait....another thing is so after the second to last episode i was like...exhausted. i think this is when thing in the US during the panorama were getting like super super bad and social unrest stuff so i was tired and ....idk why i just never watched the last ep. ok i do know why and i oftentimes do not finish shows but the ones i make an effort to go back to i know they are worth it.
but when i saw there would be a part 2 i think i was like you know.....i think i am also done? i was like ok good so...i dont have to watch the last episode. bc i dont want to. and you have a point, i didnt feel the need to go back. part of it is bc it reminds me of a really painful time in life but another was feeling less and less attached from it as real life was hitting. it's nice escapism for sure but things that are soooo contrived for a real adult life. idk how far you got but the sheer act of like giving up your school position for someone else and the logistics of it i was like "i think this is bc i'm 28 but LOL" like that is the drama teens eat up

bkpp were called out for not talkinga bout the situation in thailand over the summer and i know they are very wealthy and it just really upset me because this year has jsut been a mindfuck of inustice. but that doesn't sully my view of the show and its script i'd jsut rather not engage anymore.
so i totally see what you mean about the teen aspect. i think bc of all those references to wkw, moonlight, etc i was like wow! and for a thai production it is up there up there (in terms of production value, i wonder how much money they got) and i was impressed at how tight it was as a show for teens but i guess for me as an adult....you have a point. it's not like 'top of the lake' deep lmao. but i was just soooo impressed about it
and your'e right about time. idc abt dylan but i feel like if i looked more i'd totally feel the same way you do. i'm not a huge sonic youth fan (yet) but i love kim gordon. nirvana really was right place right time. i'm really into diy experimental, punk etc bc it incorporates rap, pop, rock, and NOISE (heheheh) all my favs and i can absolutely understand why that would not appeal to someone LMAO i love it
i think back to the things i liked when i was younger and sometimes i am surprised at how similar the things i enjoy now were because i was curating my tastes and stuff but if someone were to play me like radiohead when i was 16 i would have been like I HATE THIS SO MUCH even though i look back and see how influential my musical upbringing was (like having to be around jazz all the time)
at the very least i hope ITSAY is impactful for others but it would be within a context of why it is harder hitting for teens. the more i think about it the more i very much agree. and it's not only because i am aged out (but that is a big chunk) so i see what you mean! u rly made me put on my thinking cap
thank god it's good tv/media/art (in a basic sense though it is artistic on its own) for at least young people and not as you mentioned....YOUTUBE like those frickin channels that employ only tiktok stars and make a mockery out of filmmaking u___u
(it depends on what doc. i hate almost all popular media/docs/anything about them bc it's so depressing...and unfocused or straight up lies. glamorizing his addiction and pain and not even trying to focus on the marvel of this band and who he was. i just lost someone who is an artist this week and i hate to think of them as this frail person at the end of their life. it kills me. so when i see pictures of them at their fullest, i want to remember them that way. for nirvana so many retrospectives on them are so oversaturated and it's so depressing. that's the thing about word of mouth too, the message of nirvana gets absolutely diluted and what they wanted to achieve. if one were to dive deep (which is what i did because i am a big Hole fan but avoided nirvana) just like you with dylan you can sincerely support someone's work and the way they approach art. like if i didnt respect the hell out of kurt cobain i think it would ahve taken me longer but like i mentioned....the rap i love and stuff is so congruent to my tastes now lmao. kids deserve good art)
honestly i would love this i loved 60ds not the undteables but the undateables was....bearable. actors in the same millenia (not a bad age gap, just an age difference) and it'll be exciting to see a new dynamic. really happy for them! this looks so exciting i men DIVORCE ? woah!
I love her face lil. Shes not amazing, but she’s got charm. I also think kim nam gil has charm as well though he is not the best either. Not impressed with Eun Woo really but he’s there that’s fine. I would not be opposed to romance between those two but if it’s weird mysterious spooky fun im in!
Can you imagine how many actors would have to step down for behavior in Hollywood those gossip shows make tons…
Lol hollywood is the same basicaly. They all are. And thebindustry needs rumors to sustain itself and keep ppl interested. None of this is new also the way theyvobtain messages isnalmost alwaysbsecondhand. They maybsuck but they know for sure how to cover tracks. Many are journalists even if it is a tabloid. Look, thess people are all human and if we become privvy to their acts then theybhave to get over that and take responsibility. Theu are not gods but many want to be looked st as such. We have to watch them and care about them. We dont like ppl when we dont like them but theres varying degrees of what matters. This shit does.
If it has a good female lead or ensemble cast and if it sounds really challenging im excited. I will say that PSJ tho i dont love all his roles i feel compelled to watch just to see, really like him!
