I'm still enjoying the 2nd season so far, but it feels very different without a primary antagonist. It made me…
i think that it will come together more and have more of an impact. s1 was really hard to come together episodically (for me) but i think the show has a HUGE resonance internationally (at least me as an american...) but it's going to take a while to pack more of a punch bc it is much more broad
I loved everything about this. I loved how they fooled us until the last minute. The last episode was the most…
i agree. it woul dbe cool if the message was that truly there's no real savior and "law enforcement" isn't what you think. how it's more like a group of peeople clambering for power socially, fiscally, and pushing limits to get what they want. whole groups get pulled in and become perrpetrators and susceptible. there is an ep that stood out when the chief (of the division not chief moon) was like "we're just people not any more righteous" which sucks bc it's THE "LAW" but it's a pretty grim way of looking at things, an approach i haven't seen many shows take. so it's for the best i spose. as a person i think i wouldnt make that decision either but i am...also not a cop for a reason :P
i think there's a certain type of international viewer who likes these kind of shows. it's always fun to see ! i am going to miss them ;-; but i hope that people who think this might be something they like will tune in. i'm REALLY glad i did.
theyre SO CUTE oh my god. if we got a s2 i hope we'd get them lowkey. awesome that it did well in SK! hopefully snowdrop will be good and not propaganda or terrible. i am loath about an idol acting but it seems interesting!
damn their priorities are FUCKED UPa great show! i think the last eps were choppy in terms of morality/lessons…
though i do wish there was more steadfastness in terms of morality and not kind of leaving it as "oh well it is what it is" which diminished my excitement for things, the main mystery was really well done. as things got less emotionally tight that was way less dilapidated which is interesting. hopefully they had this all figured out from jump. def inspired by stranger lol
i struggle w the last two eps and the decisions made. i guess i wish they all would be c;lear and admit that everything is about them and their motivations which is about justice but more in the way they perceive justice to be. by the end it became less about this huge thing and more about the emotional repercussions of this huge thing that everyone failed at. i think more focus should have been on the central plot point (false accusations) and the catalyst form that + finding out what happened AND making people accountable but i think by the second half of the story it just became what really happened (which makes sense considering his death)
jung suk doesn't deserve that much feeling from jin or like anyone. but what he did initially wasnt "wrong" per se (i mean yes but also no...yfm?) but the issue was for him and his bro the fact that there was a WHOLE SCHEME that killed someone and you have eun hye being a huge victim and in the end he looks...good? which is fucked cos the reason why people oppose corporal punishment is the high rates of innocence (also the belief that we aren't god and the law messes up so goddamn much that it seems ridiculous to use the very corrupt thing to punish another human when awful people run around unregulated in their systems...)
so the fact that 12 ppl in tota died...there's a huge chance that many of them don't "deserve" death (it's a dumb thing to measure anyway) and were probably not guilty or were coerced into a harsher punishment. or if the 11 others were so disgusting then that 1 who was falsely accused was killed by the state (more likely than we think ;) ) for existing....
i think that's what reeled me in and the thread loosens when you find out the real truth. in that sense it's all in all a true mystery i guess? IDK WTF IM SAYING
theyre not in a romantic rship so why would we be concerned....lol do u know what this show is about? also son…
also to note that in a lot of dramas the actors will have sizeable age gaps IRL. IE younger girl (25) + older man (30s+ or like that recent drama with the 13? yr age difference) in romantic rships and you can /tell/
on the decent ones/good casting ones the actors will be matched in their looks in terms of age. for ex GHJ + KHN for 'camellia' he's my age and she's odler than him by some odd years but they look to be in the same age range (plus clothes, status, affectations etc) if elijah was paired with son hyun joo that would be weird lol ironcically they mention some weird men dating younger women in the show
Ahh the comments. if YOU feel comfortable with it doesn't mean that other people have to. I like normal couples…
they're all actors and actresses doing their jobs. our main concern should be how they're good at what they do and how they make us feel not their looks. he's not geriatric...i think people are just confused at what you mean by age gap relationships since there isn't one. in terms of "eye candy" well as is one's wont lol

right i am just confused what you mean by age gap. in the drama the youngest people (besides the youngest detective) have an age difference of 8 yrs....as opposed to a gap bc shes 30 IRL. 8 years is decently sizeable, yets, but time and age work differently by then. he's not like he's like 40 even or 42 lol. he looks way younger than that so i'm shocked he's almost (almost! but not!) 40 IRL. in the show they pass as the same age...her being 30 and him like 32 maybe. ...there's no older man here..
Not sure which incident you are referring to, but in episode 16, they said that there was no black-box/dashcam…
basically not keeping attn to his surroundings lol. he knew that something went wrong but was like "yea lemme just open this trunk here" i think that's what they meant. or like...not looking behind him to make sure people weren't on his ass. lol
a great show! i think the last eps were choppy in terms of morality/lessons and i kind of dont understand the thought processes they all had tbh but....it is indeed a pleasant drama. im gonna have to watch the last two eps when i have more focus
I'M GOING TO MISS IT though. i have more to critique but i really am going to. someone below said interest waned in the last 4 eps but overall good and i agree. something about it was perfect for right now. also good when my hatred for law enforcement is much lower than usual and that ended like yesterday so i don't have to deal with caring about fictional police anymore lmao.
