Seeing everybody again was worth the wait that it took to put the finishing touches on this first episode. ❤️😁❤️I…
oh she def def did :( i think a lot of people have lost a loooot of weight coming out of lockdowns and stuff. kind of a shame but she's also coming into the latter half of her 20s, finally coming out of yr cocoon~
your comment is really cute, love the emojis love em
yes uncut. if you wanna go the legal route having an iqiyi pass isn't so bad they've got great movies too (i swear i don't work for them, they just stream one of my fav movies ever lmao)
idc abt anything but the winteam parts just like with uwma so eh it's fine to skip around. i hope people know that they're basically working backwards (like in the book; sleep together then fall in wuv) and it's not a reboot (also two extremely diff authors thank fucking GOD) or sordid retelling. just a trip down memory lane (almost exactly 3y later). actually, lemme chill—the exposition and showing us (instead of telling) does a show make.
also the nice camera update and uploading in crisp non-compressed 1080 >
There's nothing like a bad romance to bring down the rating a fraction. It felt like romance between a kid and…
i wonder what ppl in sk think about the romance and if it was able to attract a wider one. didn't think of that being an attraction for this type of show. that's a bummer
Don't writers get tired of putting romance in every show ever because they fear they cannot attract the audience…
yea this is a huge problem actually like can a man and woman stand next to each other and not want to fuck? jesus christ and u see that shit all the time in kdramas 'a man and woman can never be friends' is spoken often and it's like???? do u walk around wanting to fuck everyone u see it's so bizarreeeee
tbh lemme give u the benefit of the doubt i think i know what u mean
this is what i wrote b4 but i understand OP. although for me it's the romance itself, for a lot of others it seems as if it's just the introduction/existence of romance at all. though since there's dr. park maybe not? idk but anyway:
i loved the romance in inspector jo (writer's last piece) but i was holding out on this one because the type of romance here is incredibly dumb. also, the show isn't solely about romance. in fact that's secondary to the main draw of the show which also means it's less of a tight story since it wasn't meant to be the only draw.
the reason romance ruins it, for a lot of us who were watching in real time or (purposefully) waiting it out, is because of the nature of the relationship itself and the semi-infantile nature. it's unnecessary, kind of like literally illegal if he is certified, and since they covered transference it's silly to go down that road. that's why i think moreso than people not liking romance. i know what you guys mean though when people express it but it's okay.
most people enjoy romance because for most of us it's such an important part of our lives. but it doesn't need to be in everything. i think for shows that aren't explicitly romance or boast good writing but have unnecessary romance is rly annoying bc not every boy and girl who are next to each other need to fall in love. at the same time, if it's good it's easy to come around to it (here i think it failed).
