More or less every single aspect of the drama/production is kind of a mess, from the choppy editing, cheesy lines…
I'm with you there. I actually wanted to ffwd a lot of Mr Sunshine at first, it was so slow but it at least made sense, it looked gorgeous, and Gu Dong Mae and Kudo Hina - I *love* anti-heroes. And when it was good, it was really good.
Now ep 18 hit and it turned into one of the most heart-wrenching dramas I've seen... 3/4 of the way through it lol. I'm hoping tkem is the same and we get a nice surprise.
The violent love observation I thought was pretty in tune with the PM. She's aggressive, always on the hunt, and most definitely treats Lee Gon like prey. The word "love" here is problematic, tho, lol.
And agreed on the flip side ! I remember reading a comment somewhere that called the Lee Gon / Tae Eul thing a "microwave romance". That was poetry

Lol yeah it was. And good point, this could've been a non-issue to start. Wouldn't they have been able to shoot first the ones holding hostages, too? In the end didn't the hostages get hurt anyhow? Way to weaken yourself as the king, pretty boy

And 6 episodes will fly by, yeah. I'm hanging on to see how much cheesier this can get. I don't think I saw the preview for 11, frankly I don't really care lol. But if she's all bloody, maybe the uncle got close to her, like he was all bloody today after killing off the entire staff at the prince's house before his confrontation. That was wild

It seemed like it, the uncle is betting on the king not being able to explain who the dead person was back in 1995. What I didn't understand was, if there's an assassination attempt on the king, wouldn't his bodyguards have shot back? And maybe even faster, because they're trained? Or are the uncle's people trained mercenaries? I mean, Eun Seop, who only had basic training during his civil service, had faster reflexes than the royal guard. WTF was that all about??
I was left wanting, my dreams of murder and mayhem were not to be :( happy with how everything turned out (except Tae Oh needed to be gone - I forgive you so now forgive me...??? What the hell was that crap??), though frankly I wish more of them would've given themselves the break that Joon Young gave himself. They all needed it way sooner. And Yerim turned the damn car around, good for her! Breaking a co-dependency cycle is so hard, I was glad to see her making herself happy.

I agree! I loved that scene between Sin Jae and Tae Eul. It made sense, it was emotional, it was well-acted - you could sense his fear and confusion. I don't have an answer for the primary question.. This romance has been force-fed to the viewers, unless there's something hidden that will be revealed later. But it's kinda late to still be stringing us along, no? Tae Eul is coming across kinda pathetic to me, and Lee Gon is bored (and boring)

I think it's supposed to be the same time, but with the time loop, the individuals going back and forth are all on different time lines. I think the last time the uncle was shown arriving, in 9, when he was in the backseat of the car, he was shown setting his watch backwards in time. I think that's just just him because of the time spent in the limbo, or however it works on his version of the portal

Can you imagine? Not just the writer, but the director, cinematographer, and editor..even though the ending left me wanting, the execution was exhilarating. And my dear, just wait till you see Someday or One Day ;) lots of missed potential both from suspense side and romance side, if you use those two dramas as benchmarks

It's both to distract (but why? Why not just make a good drama instead?) and to make LMH appear to be more than eye candy (again, but why? Vacuous pretty boys are a thing in kdramas, nobody ever asked for them to be made substantial. Style is good enough, by all the fangirling you see over him)

Yeah I'm curious about that, I just hope they don't try to explain how their flux capacitor works. Just throw some compostable trash in the DeLorean and hit 88mph with that cctv. We need more Back to the Future in this biatch

All he needs is Euler's number, come on, easy! 2.72 balloons. Or maybe a mole of balloons. Did you see how many there were there today? Wonder how long before we hear about Avogadro's number

Depends.. Does he spend a day in there? A second? A nanosecond? A year? She doesn't age, and there's never any mention of time passing on her side. We haven't seen her dad in a while, has it been long enough that he's dead now? So many questions...

Depends on the length of the vacuum, light travels at 3x10^8 m/s. The question is, does Lee Gon behave like a wave or a particle? :) but time is dimensionless there, so how to measure? And what about length? And there isn't even any light!
It may be poetry, art, something beautiful or well-made to others, just because those people see it that way, also doesn't make it so.
