Maybe at first she thought that's only her imagination, then she's afraid that something bad had happened and…
If there's a LMH fan cafe or something like that, probably there. When Kang Ha Neul's drama When the Camellia Blooms had special episodes, the only place that had them subbed that I knew of was a fan site.

If you're interested in more info on the historical backdrop, this unassuming yet awesome Korean ig account has a great summary. I'm a sucker for this type of context. https://www.instagram.com/p/CATljBbJXDM/
Both in present day are totally different than their past selves, though you can see Jae Hyun somewhat transitioning into his current self. Ji Su must've had a major blow for her to change personalities so drastically. I'm not enjoying her present day self, except for the few and far between scenes where she's standing up for herself (restaurant scene in 8 was the hair pulling / arm twisting makjang-y stuff I came for).
Past Jae Hyun is tearing me up. The scene around and inside the church was emotional and it got me. I'm hanging around for their young love, but I'm hopeful their present day counterparts will get to enjoy the grand love affair they deserve. Their first time, on 7, was sweet and had an undertone of urgency prompted by their fugitive state, that I wish they'd explored that time period a little more.
I'm enjoying the references to films, too, with The Professional and Running on Empty providing excellent backdrops / context in addition to historical events.
The ex-husband, the wife, the father-in-law.. I'm about to start fast-forwarding their scenes. They're paper-flat, boring, and add little dimension to the drama. I agree with the commenter below, this would be much better if it only focused on the past and spent little time in the present.
What was the list search in Lee Gon Phone that Madd his Girlfriend smile on Ep 10???
It's what was read as a voice-over when they were shown on screen. They're not actual search terms, he wrote her a message as if they were search terms

It's fascinating how she chooses to behave so submissively to her husband and father, maybe it's some big time patriarchal indoctrination because with women (like Jae Hyun's wife) she's the dominant one. Young Woo is another exception, though, hmm
He said 1 day was the equivalent of 2 months, in ep9
Lol you got me, that's true. It's still a nice constant, though :) it definitely came to mind with all those balloons. He'd be curious about those concepts too, right? It's high school chemistry, after all XD
I agree that she needed to make it more inaccessible or more fantastic. I still want to give the benefit of the doubt that it's poor translation, too. But it's too much and too often

I find her behavior inconsistent, maybe that's my problem. She's courageous for everything except her son and Jae Hyun. She does a good job defending others (like the woman she fought with that landed her in jail, when she met her husband) and herself, but I don't understand why she's incapable of defending the ones she loves.
Thumbs up jinyoung, the way he teared up in the prison's cell made me cry. He's really good at delivering his…
He's my favorite of the 4 leads. I think the young Ji Soo is doing a good job, too, but he's the one grabbing me the most. Ji Soo is acting irrationally. Why, as a woman in her 40s, she doesn't feel that the most respectful thing she could do to Jae Hyun is to at least clue him in? She was already told her custody case is a no-brainer, so this has nothing to do with fear of losing her son (and she said as much too). If we're done with the 1990s scenes, and if she doesn't start behaving like a grown ass woman, I may have to drop this for my mental health.
Agreed...so many comparisons with Mr. Sunshine I gotta see it now (I put off watching it before since I'm not…
The last 6-7 episodes are epic. The 5 leads are powerhouses, the story is heartbreaking, and I want to rewatch if only just to see Yoo Yeon Seok say "nauri" every time he speaks to Lee Byung Hun. He's like honey. Totally worthwhile time investment just for that.
How can you hate a drama so much by giving it 4.5/10 and still watch it? Honest question. There are so many amazing…
Agreed! It has some clear redeeming qualities. I for one am not hating it, I do find it unintentionally funny, though. And humor is so sorely needed these days.
The only way I can see people rooting for a pairing between the PM and LG is if they want a marriage of convenience. Frankly, this makes more sense to me than the half-baked romance we are getting, and is more in tune with monarchies - if she were also a noble. The heir would be more attractive, maybe? Haha

Not my words, btw, Soompi called it that. lmao
