Because it is popular. Regardless of the ratings in SK, I guarantee you that Netflix will continue to pen deals…
I think it's more because many people love to hate certain pop culture punching bags for their cheesiness, no other good reason, like The King, Coehlo, Arjona, and Maná ;)
ep. 10can someone explain to me when did Lee Gon go the ROK forest (the first hugging scene?)because last night…
It seems every episode ends in a flash forward with no context or clues, and the following episode (attempts to) explain / show the build up to it, so by the time you get to the 20ish minute mark, you're back where the previous episode ended. At least that's how it was today.
So his return to rok at the beginning is sometime in between his departure and the face off, and the one at the end of 10 is sometime in the future after the prince's death. But the editing and story telling is so bad, you're left with a feeling of poor man's Goblin episode 13 at the end of 10. I just laughed the whole time. At least when the Goblin disappeared, you could see the floating bits in the air hahahaha.
Idk if anyone has shared this here, but this review is life: https://youtu.be/PvZpZAE0cDg --> "if Michael Bay made dramas and replaced explosions with cheating and revenge, this would be that drama"
-I get why SW is back in town. She probably missed the workplace,, and its a town where she spent a lot of time…
Je Hyuk is 100% slime. A tiger doesn't change his stripes just because someone else tells him a sob story about having kids and yadda yadda. I'm still hoping Yerim kicks him to the curb. After that convincing spiel with Da Kyung about how men don't change, she should start applying that to herself.
My viewing party had odds on Tae Oh trying to kill Sun Woo and Joon Young stepping in and killing him before he could get to the mom (use that baseball bat well, son!), but after the sh*tshow ending on 15, my money is on mamma bear Sun Woo turning things grisly instead. She's probably regretting avoiding him with the car, but I agree, why the heck did they come back? They probably weren't gone for long and I think Joon Young was the one that wanted to return.
Euler's number. That's what he uses to keep track how long the universe he's in pauses for
more 1 and 0 lol surprised Tae Eul wasn't somewhere in there. Or the limbo. Or whatever, who cares? lol
Maybe it'd make sense if he'd actually solved a natural logarithm to figure out the duration of the time stop (is that even how e^x works? hahahaha it's been so disgustingly long...)
And why does that matter? does he know how that's related? if it was related to the duration of the uncle's stay in the limbo, Lee Gon would be WAY older and the drama would be mostly people looking at nothingness and snowflakes hanging in mid-air.

Right? It has the same effect. Euler's number is dimensionless. Time in the limbo is dimensionless (or non-existent, but apparently you can measure a day, and it's equal to 2 months.... wtf). How does converting something dimensionless with something other that's also dimensionless, yield something with dimension??? i must be stupid, they never taught us these things in undergrad engineering math lol.
Li Zi Wei is really perfect, just wait wait wait... it's impossible not to fall in love :')
Thanks for the article - that really is some crazy stuff! I didn't know it was that convoluted! But now it makes total sense why this is a sh*tshow lol
Awwwww! But the overlap is so small! It must be that the TWOTM viewers are pre-partying lol. I know that drama is so much better consumed with alcohol XD maybe I should try drinking for TKEM too ha!
Filming until the last week is not unheard of, but the fact that it's not preproduced would make you think they'd try to change it for the better! The ratings for 9 were so terrible!
I don't know if more aggressive, maybe. Big had Vitamin Water in PPL at least a couple of times every episode, it felt like, so it's definitely not new haha
Also watching Hospital Playlist and When my Love Blooms lol. I'm all over the place. Toss in a couple of wuxia and a sageuk, and you get my current watchlist :D
I know, the PPL is the worst. All these on-air dramas I'm watching have some annoying PPL, I think HP is the least annoying/most organic. When my Love Blooms has a lower quantity of PPLs but when they show up they really take me out of the scene, I hate them there too :(
