Yep, but it seems needlessly complicated to send her to China. With the power GK wields, you'd think they could get these goons some guns and just kill her.

It took 10 episodes and I still don't really know what all is going on or who is who (or more like I forget from one episode to the next - so many characters, this can easily compete with a sageuk for number of characters at play), but episode 11 was a very exciting watch!

The editing for the 10 episodes prior had been very choppy. We finally have here an episode 11 with little to no flashbacks and finally it felt sharp and firing on all cylinders. Here's hoping this keeps up. I've stayed this long just for the acting and broad plot points (and Lee Hak Joo, so happy he's getting more screen time than I first expected), because frankly the editing and plot details are confusing af.

I read below that this drama is better binged than watched live, I bet that's true.

They'd take down Jung Hwan by taking her out. That was my guess.. But it seems it's a roundabout way to get the job done.

Good point, I'd forgotten about the non alcoholic beer thing. It still felt weak to put him to sleep in his last scene, come on.. He deserved to at least be awake for most of it!

Title 18 Again Spoiler
The ending was mostly bland platitudes and everyone getting their version of closure. Some filler relating to their friends pairing off and Da Jung getting her job back (they magically could keep all 4 anchors after all - imagine that). Mostly forgettable, tbh, I much preferred pretty much every other episode.

Ji Hoon managed to make me cry yet again - his happiness at being a samchon rather that replacing his brother (that was a great observation by Da Jung) was sweet, yet I'm still baffled at how any girl could turn that amazing man down lol. But I get it - the partnership, the ups and downs, the newfound honesty and support that Da Jung and Dae Young have for each other is what each needs.

The only part I really didn't like was Ja Sung's ending. What the hell was that?!

I am not a fan of wedding happy endings, so I was glad to see they closed the circle at the end, showing them as a young couple, today, and in the future, as they walked their path together, holding each other's hands. It was satisfying for this die-hard fan of open and angsty endings :)

I keep thinking they should've given Seo Jin an eye patch, Cuna de lobos-style.

Shazam to the rescue - Heart Shaking by Moon Sung Nam (same guy from This Life from Because This is My First Life... No wonder, it's amazing). Can't find it anywhere tho, hoping for it to be on this week's ost release.

It really was so beautiful! Seeing how his illness and mortality made everyone around him reassess their lives, and confirm they are all doing the best they can, it was so life-affirming. Loved it, loved it, loved it. Cried buckets and buckets, but loved it :')

I came to this web drama via Lee Jong Won, king of web dramas in my world - full disclosure, I am not a Jisoo fan, I've never really been impressed by his acting or his visuals.

I just finished watching and I can honestly say I'm impressed - by everything related to this production. Storytelling was on point, delivery by the actors was superb, and the weaving of lighthearted fantasy elements into an otherwise very, very heavy set of themes around illness and death, made this a very, at times, heartbreaking, at times, heartwarming, and relatable watch, if you've had the unfortunate luck of dealing with cancer in your life in some shape or form, like I have.

Jisoo broke my heart, over and over. He's got a new fan now. What an amazing job he did here. Jong Won did too, but his tattoos did most of the heavy lifting lol. Can't wait to see him in a bigger role - and if you're curious, check him out in Our Baseball, another great web drama on life lessons. It's a gem.

The only thing I did not enjoy was how difficult Kakao TV made it for those of us outside of SK to watch this, so bless whoever is running the show over on FB Actor Jisoo Updates, they're the real MVP. <3

10/10 from me, periodt.

After completing one episode this has become my guilty pleasure. It reads like Housewives of Trump Tower. It's ridiculous, over the top, loud and offensive (visually and aurally), and I'm in for more!! I yelled "WHAT IS THIS?!?" so many times at my TV, I owe it to myself to find an answer.

Title Start-Up
Did anyone else think that Seo Chung Myung was talking about Seo Dal Mi when he was sharing his theory of SandBox…
He does say Dal Mi's name in the flashback, when he's telling the director the story. The question is, was the director reading In Jae's application the whole time or was there a switch? I could see In Jae stealing the story to gain an advantage, but that would fly in the face of her wanting a new start on her own merits.

That epilogue was confusing af lol

I'd forgotten about the draft novel! My goodness.. From prescribing remedies out of a gumball machine in his practice, to finding no ethical issues in keeping a 1) co-living partner, 2) who confessed to him as a patient - my goodness this guy needed to lose his license.

Characters in dramas being all up in each other's business is nothing new, but here it's very uncomfortable to watch. Add to that the developments you mention and you can't help making a Jackie Chan meme expression at this drama.

Sounds terrible. Kang Woo is too creepy and fake, any ending that resulted in him paired up with any of those characters would've been dissatisfying.

That bad?! Okay, I'm letting this one go. I wanted to stay to the end because, again, Soulmate ending killed me dead, I was hoping for a similar experience here, regardless of how bad everything else was. Thanks for saving me the additional disappointment!

I came to this drama via Soulmate, because one of the two writers from that drama wrote this one. I think I know now which one carried which. Soulmate is one of my favorites; the witty, snappy dialogue and the emotions were ah-mazing. I can't quite fully express my disappointment with this drama here now.

Kang Woo must be one of the creepiest, weirdly stalker-ish ML's I've seen. He makes my skin crawl. Na Eun's perma-panicked look was uncomfortable to watch. Together, they made one of the most unappealing pairings I've seen on TV.

Please spoil it for me, I'm still on 9, but if those two end up together, I'm dropping it here. Her friend is insipid af, but at least he seems to respect boundaries just a tad bit more than weirdo Kang Woo.

BTW what happened to the subplot with his dying dad? That sort of went nowhere.
