I agree. I so fear a cruel ending for Tae Wan. The intensity of his feelings for Jin Sung is so high already, I also can't see him just flipping for his brother instead. I think I'd be okay with an open ending and something hopeful for him, but much rather he get the happy ending. Sigh..
I'm just waiting for the shit to hit the fan at this point, I swear this show gives me such anxiety thinking about…

I'm here for Lee Hak Joo, this boy is giving all the feels. The last 15 minutes of 5 had me in tears for his character, that's a heartfelt sequence from beginning to end. I'm beyond impressed with his turn here, especially after playing the nasty bf in The World of the Married. What a gem of an actor - wow! Still hoping they don't give him a cruel ending, Tae Wan deserves all the happiness in the world.
Thanks for the recommendation! Loved him in HP, will definitely add to the ever-growing list.
You just made me realize that the upcoming movie Wonderland will probably be a chore to watch, but the other actors far outweigh her, so I hope she's easy to ignore there
Yeah! The yoyo boy and Na Ri are both like this. Maybe they're related somehow and we'll see in 16. Otherwise, wow, what amazingly lazy writing. At least the gods inhabiting the human forms in Goblin sort of make sense.
I've only seen Suzy in Big but I was completely unimpressed and annoyed - both women were terribly annoying. Gong Yoo in goblin, it took a few episodes for me but I was sold. He really gave his all in Big, but that script... Yuck. At least the first half is funny :)
Ma Ri told both of them and immediately they switched gears again to plan around that. What a mess of a drama. Suzy's character was completely useless, she didn't drive the plot at any point, all that happened would've happened with or without her. But at least GY's acting carried the drama, here we don't even have that
Ma Ri (she even shares part of the name with the omniscient one in tkem) was the one that said that they'd lose their memory from the day of the crash and until they woke up (the one in bed had no memory to begin with, he was passed out the whole time), and that concept was what drove like the last 1/3 of the drama. It was also what explains the ending. But how the hell did she know??? And useless characters was any adult from her school and the kid's aunt and uncle, and the uncle's crush on the FL's mom. Useless subplots. And of course KES didn't write Big, why I said tkem ("this") is her "Big"
I agree. Conversely, I was surprised they got rid of her dad for a significant number of episodes, too. I had compared this drama to Big before, in particular because of those omniscient characters that come out with rules and in-drama logic that have no foundation in anything, but I suppose useless character and subplots that are disconnected from the main plot is another common theme. And now it really does feel like this is KES's Big.
My friend and I wondered about how he washed. He must've smelled absolutely ripe
He's got 25 year-old sweat crusted on him. He'd been running around in the republic several times before, too. But the hair do and dye job always on point!
At the end of EP 15, we see that LR has been searching for the obelisk to his grandfathers time space world, and…
Your explanation makes the think that the title of the drama is in reference to the uncle's objective, rather than the LG's reality..? Since LG's objective is not to achieve immortality (he doesn't want to be an eternal monarch) and from the preview it doesn't seem like he becomes eternal, either, maybe?
Since I keep thinking of the part of yo-yo boy and Jihun mother talking in the alley and still too dense to make…
What I want to know is, why didn't the mother try to commit suicide then? There was no one else around that we could see. Or did she only ever try when she could be stopped?
I love watching trash dramas like this, they're hilariously bad :D
I'd just like to briefly discuss the time stops, and how LG's Math is wrong. This is just for fun, I doubt the…
Meanwhile, I'm still here trying to understand how he keeps track of time in the limbo when time can't be measured in there. Is that why he keeps popping out of it to check on little Tae Eul (btw that scene with her as a 5 yr old had some weird pedo vibes)? But every time he pops out, doesn't time keep increasing? And already the time stops in 1994 were way longer than when he first started traveling to the republic in 2019 (ep1), so by the time he's crossing in 2016, wouldn't the two dimensions have been ripped completely apart already?
This drama is staggeringly bad, I can't. But FOMO prevents me from dropping it LOL
I see what you did there. lol
