Roll cake! And bottled coffee! Oh man, I just found out tonight that there's a The Alley close to me, I'll have to try some of that sweet looking milk tea soon!

Dude, if we get a wedding next week, that'll be the cheesiest fan service we could get. Wanna bet they marry him off in his dress uniform with a bowl of washed rice?

Signal did this whole implanting new / erasing old memories WAY better. In theory, if your past changes, i'd imagine your whole being changes to match that one which is a continuum from the past. You don't just say all of a sudden to yourself "whoa, i have a new memory I didn't have before!" it's laughably silly.

I don't know what to think about the magically appearing ink that can transport itself, by itself, across time and space dimensions. It was appearing as it was being written, so actually it was the same time, just a different space dimension? Otherwise it would've just been there, since 2016 (I guess?) More laughable silliness.

This episode was one of the best, despite many scandalous points:- Resolution of ep 13 cliffhanger is a MEH.-…
And this episode was one of the best...? hahahaha

I unofficially dropped it, but got roped into watching this shitshow on watch2gether.com, about to start now. Wish me luck! :D

Title When My Love Blooms Spoiler
I might have to drop this. Although I think the performances are brilliant, I'm still not loving the present day…
I had that same conversation with myself today. Part of me wants to finish it, but maybe like just skip from here to 16. The wife, her father, her ex husband, even her kid now, all just rub me wrong. There's nothing enjoyable about the present day, even the prospect of a redeeming revenge arc seems boring now. Their kiss today was even a turn-off. I'm happy we're still getting 1990s scenes, I thought we'd get none after the department store collapse, even if many today were flashbacks of flashbacks

I'm not trying to convince you to see it any other way, we all look at whatever is on TV and process it based on our own likes, dislikes, and preferences. For me, a stalker who commands the girl to marry him within days of having met him falls squarely in the nope category. That is one seriously narcissistic dude that doesn't know how to read a room.

That's seriously the least romantic thing I've seen in dramas so far, other than Boys over Flowers or any of the flavors it comes in. But it is definitely a good source of unintentional humor.

Yeah, I get that. What's missing is the why. I can take money, power, and looks as an explanation, it's not the first drama that works that way, and it is a Cinderella story, after all.

I think KES did a much better job in Secret Garden. And even then, HB's character was also a petulant stalker, and while it's not a leap to see why she goes for him in the end, at least she made him work for it. Here, she gave away the milk, the cow, the whole farm, for what comes across as very shallow reasons.

I'm still waiting for some time loop hat trick to explain this whole thing, just like we saw the uncle on the 1st episode, maybe they'll go back and show that their encounter at the end of 1 wasn't their first time meeting, then I could buy it. We'll see!

True, if I had a guy as rich, as powerful, and who looked like LMH fawn over me I'd also accept fate as my lord and savior. :D

Definitely consider other options for viewing. International fans have a ton of them, Netflix is a very small sampling.

Fated relationship is when her existence was caused by his direct action and her role in such existence is directly tied to his (see: Goblin). Here I see him as needing to be grateful, but a fated love affair? Doesn't meet my standard, sorry.

And btw did you notice you still can't rationalize her side, other than just "fate"? For someone who can't even believe the earth is round, taking anything as just "fate" seems disingenuous and out of character.

I was reading through the first 10 comments or so on that and noticed it was just rationalizations on his side of the emotions, but nothing from her side. It makes it seem like he's a stalker. But I get why there's nothing describing her side, because there's no development other than a) she finds out he has power in another dimension, and b) she finds out he's loaded. Is that all there is to her side? I didn't see anything else.

And now that he realizes she never saved him to begin with, did he really just then fall in love with a face on a badge? Ew. Keep the romance out of this and it becomes more watchable for sure.

Agreed, all deaths were avoided except we never know about WQS (he still would've likely attempted/committed suicide as he was otherwise disconnected from everyone else.) I'm trying to remember why was it that LZW kept getting on the plane on every loop, but I think it's because she would've never traveled to the past, and they would've never met otherwise, if he didn't die in the crash. Ahhhhh this drama!!! Love it so much.

Fantasy crime drama? Lol. Yeah it's not time travel per se because they're not moving on a timeline, but certainly time is shifting as the past is changed. It's a mind bender, and I can't wait for s2 to see what's going on with the cop from the past!

That's a valid point of comparison, like when the cop in the past changes an event in the past, all of a sudden the future changes, to the point where those around the profiler don't even have memory of it (because it never happened). It's cool, but in signal it's all presented as the same timeline, it just changes based on what changes in the past. Here you do have time travel per se, so physically people can go to the past.
