Fr! Not to forget the hypocrisy in the comments where people are disliking Bailu's performance because it feels…
That one person(who made a comment saying FY is useless and lost his chance to shine" replied back but when I clicked into the link I couldn't see his post anymore LOL. Even when I go through the pages cannot see it. I think that person might have blocked me but whatever. I can if I logged out and see that post though
Honestly those people who complain and doesn't make any sense is really WTF to me. Reading that one post really irk me so much.
When people cannot understand the story or be open minded it is better just ignoring them. I will still make a comment or post to defend though!
No matter how many times I've rewatched the drama, everytime I got up to the Stone clan arc, a part of me still didn't like how CS lived ignorantly all these years without knowing what he did back then when he lost control.
I know it was not his fault that he had forgotten(because of what his father did), so when he was blaming his father, I am "π" at him.
QF hatred on the stone clan and especially on CS is justified imo because CS was the one who contributed to his(QF) demise back then.
Yet, all these years CS lived ignorantly (without knowing the truth)
This is why for me when CS sacrificed himself, I felt it was fitting and a good conclusion for his character(for what he did back then), and I wasn't sad about it.
YeahAozi seems more comfortable around lulu that any other actress...He is normally shy around the others actress…
In some situations I've seen Aozi is also shy in front of Bai Lu too where Bai Lu likes to tease him that his face is red.
But with Bai Lu, I saw that he is often more himself comfortably where he doesn't hold back on his end, and often does silly things that leads to Bai Lu slightly slapping him lol.
Aozi and Bai Lu really have great chemistry and they seem to be close in real life too as they still keep in contact and meet up for dinner with the others, so I hope they will always be this comfortably close IRL.
Definitely want to see them in another drama as a CP again on my side
Considering Fan Yue contributed the MOST at the end, yet people can still say he was useless is really just WTF to me.
If you are going to complain about something, do it in a way that doesn't make me question whether you are sleeping through the episodes or fast forwarding the scenes, because it was clearly literally explained, just pay attention to what was said in the drama.
Fan Yue was never weak or useless to me, not even at the end, because he played a BIG PART in saving Bai Shuo(and this world) and bringing down Mo Li at the end. He was very much needed and contributed a BIG part to the success of finally defeating Mo Li. Without Fan Yue, Bai Shuo wouldn't be able to do it on her end.
If Mo Li went through the same things Fan Yue did in those situations, I am sure he will be weak too.... because you know why? Divine Powers is strong and powerful yes, BUT it is NOT limitless. You can exhuast it if you use too much of it and it takes time to recover.
I won't elaborate again here, since I already did in another comment, but I just want to say, you are free to not like the drama etc since everyone is different, but if you are going to give critic about something, be logical and not contradict what was explained in the drama! Personal opinion is one thing, but if the drama already gave you that explanation yet you have watched to the end and can still question why it played out that way than this is not paying attention to the story...
If you like a drama that have a evil demon or a very Demonic ML and a pairing that is displayed as toxic, then please go and search up those genres and not waste your time on something you find boring where we found refreshing for once.
I think sadly that Fan Yue became useless and lost his shine in the last part.
How did you get the conclusion that Fan Yue lost his time to shine when he also played a big part in bringing down Mo Li at the end? Without him, the world they lived in would have been destroyed(since he absorbed the Hidden Heart into his body), without him Bai Shuo wouldn't have been able to have that 6th contemplation of Great Love that finally destroyed the Hidden Heart once in for all, this was all because of her feelings for Fan Yue that she had this contemplation on her side, this is something not even Xing Yue was able to accomplish. Without him, Bai Shuo wouldn't have that power in her to defend herself because she lost most of her spiritual powers when she destroyed the contemplation stone. She did afterall borrowed Fan Yue's purple moon(his source of power), before FY arrived at the scene. These are all Fan Yue contribution where it shows just how important and how much he was needed in these situations.
If you are referring to Fan Yue being weak, then did you miss the explanation where it was explained that he has exhausted his powers to create the Purple Moon Barrier?
Let me try to put this into perspective for you.
Both Jing Yuan and Mo Li are equal in God Powers. They both cannot defeat each other that was explained several times in the story. If they go into a battle(both at full power) it will end in a draw. This was further emphasized when Jing Yuan came back 60,000 years later in Fan Yue's body that Mo Li understood this very well (they are equal in power), this is why Mo Li did not ambush or attack Bright Moon Palace because of the presence of Jing Yuan.
Why do you think Mo Li captured those immortals on his end? Did you think he did it for fun? He did it for a reason and that is because he know that by doing so, this can push Jing Yuan in using his powers to protect those people, because one way or another he would do it to stop Mo Li. Ofcourse by that time Jing Yuan is no longer there anymore, so when he left his God Powers to Fan Yue, Fan Yue used his Purple Moon that created the barrier that expand the radius of hundreds of thousands of miles in the polar region. This was explained that it will exhaust his Divine Powers. This is what Mo Li wanted.
Fan Yue had this Purple Moon Barrier up for days, so he didn't really have that time to recover his divine powers yet the purple moon barrier is still up. And what did Mo Li did? He used all those human sacrifices to break FY purple moon barrier because those human sacrifice are extremely Yang while Purple Moon is Extremely Yin, when the human blood sacrifice(being yang) succeeded in destroying the barrier, it infused with the Purple Moon(being Yin). This accomplished what Mo Li wanted because he know by doing so, it will (1) break the barrier and (2) create an inner force conflict of clashes between the Yin and Yang , which can further hurt Fan Yue in the process. This is Mo Li's sinister move against Fan Yue.
So lets summarize this, Fan Yue was already exhuasted using up most of his powers to put up that purple moon barrier extending to that big radius which was explained that it was consuming up most of his divine powers to keep the barrier up, and then it was revealed that all this time(when his purple moon returned to him), the Yin and Yang was having an inner conflict clash that counter each other so he was enduring all this(within him, that made it harder for him to recover).
Honestly, when you take all this into consideration, can you not understand that spiritual powers are NOT limitless. If Mo Li goes through the same situation (obviously he didn't, and he was taking advantage of the situation), he will exhaust his powers too...
With that all being said, it is understandable why it played out this way because it is not like it was a fair fight and Mo Li knows this and is taking advantage of the situation, so he got that upper hand in that battle.
So I disagree with you about Fan Yue didn't have his time to shine because if you look at all things considered, it was explained and that makes his situation understandable. So he is not weak or useless like you said. As a matter of fact Fan Yue contributed the most for all said!!
Sad that viewers cannot understand that divine or spiritual powers is not limitless. And considering they explained it, yet people can still misinterpret those situations is just π
he was the reason why Bai Shuo could demolish the Hidden Lord's heart completely. Moreover, she reestablished…
Agree with you Moonstique, Some people just cannot understand the situation that it wasn't even a fair battle (because FY have exhuasted most of his powers putting up the barrier) AND that spiritual powers is not limitles..
How was Fan Yue useless is beyond me since he literally contributed the most I have to say!!!
R u talking about the scene where FuLing attack BaiShou? She canβt kill BS, because a fatal attack would trigger…
Mumu actually revealed the reason why she didn't kill Fu Ling in that moment (even when she got the chance to). So that scene was pretty much explained afterwards. She wanted to avenge her father's death ofcourse but not at that moment because of those reasons revealed.
I genuinely wouldn't mind if they're doing a modern or a costume drama again unless and until they're cast together…
From what I know they are a popular pair in the China and a lot of fans love them(but ofcourse I am not including those haters, so lets just ignore them).
I hope they will always be this close and happy and ofcourse we (fans, those who support them) would love to see them in another drama as a sweet CP again. I vote modern since I want to see them in modern setting. If they ever get to pair as a CP again, hopefully it will be worth the wait and they get a happy ending!
Bai Lu said that when she first saw ARP when he put on the white hair(his fox costume during LL and RX arc), she said that he looked very handsome that day, and she even put emphasis on that part about being very handsome where she told the other's about it π€ She did said that the later parts (referring to his later arcs) is also handsome, but that day, it was very handsome to her.
You can see that ARP was being shy about her praise π€£π₯°
The ML Demon was not enough demonic. He was so vanilla
Demon does not necessarily have to be demonic or evil.
Fan Yue past experiences shaped him to be who he is in the present time.
Just because Fan Yue have those he wants to protect doesn't make him less of a Demon.
If Fan Yue was "too demonic", then we probably would not have a healthy love story that we were given now. The healthy relationship may be boring to some because they are used to those toxic relationships in other previous Xianxia dramas, but for me, I find it refreshing and I'm glad it is this way in Moonlight Mystique(since I saw it as a breakthrough from the overused trope) and I never once find it boring, because it was a fresh air on something different for once, which makes MM truly a unique xianxia for me!
Over the years of watching Xianxia, I've learned that Demons is not evil. As a matter of fact they have more love in choosing to protect the one they love first over the three realms(Fan Yue is this type of Demon). Personally, I've come to the point where I prefer a ML Demon (like Fan Yue) over an Immortal that shoulder the heavy responsibility of not being free to love or they have to choose either to protect the peace of the three realms or their love one and in the end may end up hurting the one person they love because of that responsibility..
Simply put, Fan Yue to me is my ideal Demon King and I loved him just the way he is portrayed in the drama.
I always found it interesting, how the Love Tree can create illusions of the person you love (in your heart), because this was evidently displayed in both Fan Yue and Fu Ling in the Fox Arc.
Fan Yue saw the illusions of Bai Shuo, and Fu Ling saw illusions of Chong Zhao.
With the exception that CS being different since he didn't see TH but the Water-Stone instead.
One can say that this could be because CS was thinking about the stone when he was searching for it on his end for FY, but I felt that it is called the Love Tree for a reason and what MJ was trying to explain to TH(from what he was told by his aunt). In this case, if in your heart you have that special person you love, you will be shown an illusion of that person instead of what you are looking for if that makes sense.
Anyways I always find it interesting how they made it different for CS in terms of what he saw vs what both Fan Yue and Fu Ling saw respectively. But it is only after my 5th rewatch of the drama that I felt like making this comment.
How is Bai Shuo gullible when she doesn't trust anything or get fooled easily. She have her own judgement to the…
Personally, I never saw her as gullible when I watch her character onscreen for all said, but you can see for yourself when you watch more episodes on your side.
Honestly those people who complain and doesn't make any sense is really WTF to me. Reading that one post really irk me so much.
