This series lost its momentum a while ago. I don't get why the relationship between Kohei and Taichi is so awkward. It's 2024. Get his mobile number. Text him. Hang out at the mall. Idk, they are blowing this up into a whole thing for no good reason that I can tell. It seems like the writers want this to come off as a "meaningful love story" but I think they are making the characters do weird things for no good reason. Idk, I will watch the last episode just to finish it, but this is giving me old school bl, which is not a compliment!

I'm glad we've reached the point in BL history when the leads can be shown kissing in the trailer/mv. The old school BLs did the whole "will-they-won't-they" thing to death.

I love Mudmee, she and I would have been friends in hs...I agree, I am half watching for Atom and Kongthap and half watching for Mudmee and Half. Both couples are so cute!!!

I mean, the characters are speaking Mandarin, you can tell by their lip movements. So, whether the audio was recorded in a studio or live on set, the characters are speaking Mandarin, the audio is Mandarin. If "original" to you only means recorded live on set, cool. I don't care that much about it.

I don't think acknowledging differences is a bad thing. I think it's the value judgements that are bad. All families are not the same, they look different and have different needs.

I don't disagree with you; I think the "normal" vs "abnormal" dichotomy is occasionally well-intentioned, but mostly used in a shaming kind of way. That being said, it is the language that most people know, so I'm not surprised they used it here.

But I do support the goal of creating better ways of talking about differences that indicate that everyone is different, but just as valuable.
