I believe she is intersex, as in she has both male and female sex organs, in this case it seems like she may have a penis and not a vagina, since she does not use mentrual supplies).
The actors are all cute and doing their best. I think the story is a little silly (I felt that way about the Japanese version too), but I guess it's supposed to be haha. Anyway, it's not making me emotional like Moonlight Chicken or My School President did, but I am enjoying watching it.
Maybe it was a bad translation, but I really hated the moment in which Atom told Half that he likes Thap, and…
As a gay person, I can tell you, many times in my life people have told me I wasn't normal because I'm gay. There is a value judgement attached to the word normal. Normal, in this case, means good, correct, acceptable and abnormal means bad, wrong, not acceptable. So, an affirmation that gay people being in love is just as "normal" (good, correct, acceptable) as straight people being in love is very good to hear. Most people don't want to feel or be treated as "abnormal", we want to be seen as "normal" people too, not weird, not different, just normal people leading our normal lives. So, I liked it.
Damn, fourth's shirt killed me! "If you like my ornaments, you should see my box" ππππ I love it when they wear shirts that are so inappropriate!
cute episode, the editing wasn't great and the music was too loud. Fourth is so cute, as always. Gemini is playing the straight man (in an acting sense, not a sexual orientation sense haha), but I hope he loosens up a little bit. His character is supposed to be serious, but not so stiff. I'm enjoying it so far, glad they are moving faster than the japanese version, It felt unfinished to me.
The actress playing Mudmee is the real star of the show for me, so far. She is killing it.
So cute! The interpersonal drama is dragging on too long (I'm over the love triangle), but Great and Inn together are giving everything! Hope the plot moves along, but their scenes together are fire.
Even though itβs supposed to be a comedy, why did I start tearing up when Kang was chatting with his mom? Oh…
Same! Nothing groundbreaking is happening so far, but this series is a great example of a story that is not new or even that original, but it's done right and hitting all the right notes, so it's a joy to watch.
Hahaha, I do feel sympathetic to Wandee, but, when he kept interrupting to ask if he was "tasty", I was thinking the same thing! I was like, damn Yoyak, is the ass that sweet? Cause it's definitely annoying..haha
GMMTV has a lot of good looking guys...but ever since I saw Great's ass in his inspector uniform in Manner of Death...damn! That man is fine as hell! I think, and I know I'm about to get flamed to hell for saying this, Inn and Great may be GMMTV's hottest couple. I think they are my number 2 in all of thai bl, after, obviously, KinnPorsche.
As much as I like a sweet romantic comedy, I honestly think GMMTV's sexual politics dramas are much better. Only Friends was by far my favorite series of this year from GMMTV (with Last Twilight a close second). This first episode was a swing and a HIT! Can't wait for more!
I literally beg ppl to have a single ounce of nuance b4 calling everyone who has valid criticisms on the jarring…
The scene worked for me, but I agree the flashback montage was excessively long. If you want to criticize the editing, how about the scene from like ep 3 maybe where Wei Qian is having flashbacks to his abusive mother while in the shower and the camera person spent way too long focusing on his nipples (while he's reliving his childhood trauma). Definitely some editing misses (and I didn't really like the soundtrack much, it was too schmaltzy).
am here again to praise NC scene. It was beautiful and emotional π.maybe im the only one but i like flashbacks…
Right? I think this is a great example (along with Last Twilight) for all the sex-negative folks out there of how an intimate scene can help develop characters and give depth to the relationships between characters. I get tired of being accused of being a pornographer (I'm not criticizing porn, it has its place) because I think it screams cowardice for a series to show two characters who are in love but for some reason (that is never explained, I'm not talking about young hs kids or ace characters) never kiss/have sex. Not real! In this series, the sex scene was beautifully shot and clearly gave us, the viewers, more insight into who Wei Qian and Zhi Yuan are, and how they are moving from a brotherly (at least on Wei Qian's part!) relationship to a romantic one.
So, boring story and gratuitous sex? Nope, pass! Deep story and meaningful sex? Yes, please!
And....they nailed the ending! What a beautiful reflection on family! Aside from the vaguely confusing first two episodes (the changing actors made the dynamics feel weird) and the less than amazing soundtrack, this is definitely one of the top BL series of the year. Wei Qian and Zhi Yuan are so cute (and sexy!) together! <3
The actress playing Mudmee is the real star of the show for me, so far. She is killing it.
But seriously, are you asking a question?
So, boring story and gratuitous sex? Nope, pass! Deep story and meaningful sex? Yes, please!
