I like that everyone so far looks like a cute but somewhat schlubby college kid. A lot of the time they make everyone look like a model, so I like that they all look kind of sweaty, wearing old raggedy clothes. The engineering students look more put-together, but I feel like there is less makeup, less good lighting, they seem more like real people. Tbh, Peem and Phum were the least interesting part of this ep for me, I was enjoying everyone else and their friendships. Winny and Satang were the faves of this ep, I'm sure.
Based on some comments, I was expecting this episode to be too over-the-top and even cringey, but it was actually…
Yeah, I like romantic comedies, the comedy seems pretty in-line with a teenage show, it kind of reminds of me Andi Mack. Some of the older Thai comedies were kind of unwatchable for me because they had weird noises and jokes that didn't make sense (maybe bad translations), but I think this show is cute and silly, which is a good combo as far as I'm concerned.
ep 2 was a lot more fun, I know first episodes can be tough because they have a lot of setting the scene to do, so I'm glad we get to see more of the chemistry and interactions between the characters. I love the clumsy teacher who is "cursed" .
I think it's good that Fourth and Gemini aren't in this one, Ongsa definitely gives me Tinn vibes (freaking out because her crush likes "her" [Earth]).
The 2nd couple, Luna and Aylin, they are stealing the show a little bit for me right now. I'm sure once Sun finds out that Ongsa is actually Earth, their relationship will pick up. Tbh, I don't love the whole mistaken-identity thing as a trope, so I hope that part doesn't last too long so they can focus on Sun and Ongsa being cute.
The first episode was cute but not very substantial. I hope that the writing improves. Milk and Love were very cute together and I can just feel the adolescent anxiety that Ongsa is feeling through the screen haha. The dream sequence with the white outfits was beautiful.
It feels more juvenile than I was expecting, I hope they add some more complex themes and give the characters more personality than just "cute, popular teenager" and "shy, awkward teenager". Aylin and her focus on aliens was hilarious, she is the most interesting character so far.
It looks really dumb, but also like it might be so bad it's good. Hard to tell from the trailer. I hope it ends up being silly and fun and not just badly written with poor acting.
I still do not understand how Prem "scammed" Ten? Prem was like "ok, my cooking classes cost (insert large amount…
I read those Am I the Asshole stories on reddit and a lot of people have crazy in-laws and so they do lots of things that don't make sense to "keep the peace". I think's dumb too, but it does seem to be true to life.
Re: the magic powers, It's pretty much implied that the 'author' was really some kind of supernatural entity/deity/etc.…
Dude, I watched 4 different isekai anime today, I know what it is... hahaha. I'm not saying the concept is confusing, but the execution here was confusing. In Isekai anime, the god just shows up at the beginning and offers you over powered skill hahah, there's no mystery.
Great series, it got a little bit confusing for me towards the end (so are magic powers where you can put people in alternate universes common???), but I loved the relationships and interactions. Super cute!
I guess this is a nice filler series? There's nothing really wrong with it, the writing is just boring. You can tell all the actors are doing their best with what they were given to work with... which isn't much... Anyway, it's a cute series to skim through when there isn't anything else on

Hope you stay mad about it hahaha
