It's being Broadcasted on National TV, no spicy scenes for sure.Mujing & Qu hua's scenes are the most of their limit for tv censorship, those also ain’t that intimate.
Shuiqiu zhaoquan's death was horrible to watch, although drama distorted history how events actually played out in real history, but there is absolute recorded history about When Hu Jinsi's wife heard that Shuiqiu Zhaoquan had been killed, she wept bitterly and said, "Others can be killed, but Zhaoquan was a gentleman. Why did you kill him?"...It's just sad how he was one of the pillars of wuyue state,but his ending Isn't justified at all.

I just realized, Ni Da Hong (Actor of Hu jinsi) is the Co-Main lead in Xiao Zhan's Next Medical drama that recently wrapped up filming, "small town remedy" /" Xiao Cheng Liang Fang (小城良方)".. Now I'll surely be looking forward to that drama. I'm sure I've watched him in other dramas before but there never really had a memorable role of him for me before SIP. This veteran Actor is Just Great.
Director Chen Chang & the production team put a lot of thought and attention to details. In the 14th episode film projector scene,idk how many of us actually noticed it, the nightclub-like lighting setup was created using a cookie tin that was shown twice before in the drama. On ep 10, a Flower vase filled with fresh flowers was seen in their newly decorated home,which is this same biscuit tin which was drilled to make holes to put it in use.On the bed shaking scene in ep 13, Fang muyang used the same biscuit tin to make the noise. Finally in the Dreamy Lights scenes of listening to Mozarts on episode 14, Director & lighting designer felt that there weren't many lights available to create a romantic atmosphere back then, they tried many props to achieve the desired lighting ambiance, and ultimately decided on this cookie tin. Artistic aesthetics of this drama really came from a thoughtful & dedicated production team, they put their Hearts into this Work.

idk why others are watching this drama,but I've been watching for these witty silly moments, the dialogues & characterizations are so my type.

I love how the bonds are building up within the families. Fang Muyang getting along well with both of his brother-in-laws, Qu Hua visiting Fei ni & Muyang's house in new year with Mujing , Fei parents truly Caring about their children & their spouses, they've really become a family of 6 to look out & care for each other.
Fei Ting is really not suitable for his publishing job.Literary talent Isn't something he actually can gain overnight or try hard on it to improve. i LOVED the conversation of him and Fang Muyang in the pondside.He felt invincible in the northern area works and he's good as a chef & Carpenter, He's got talent for practical manual Works.Hope he finds a factory work or become a Chef which best suits him as a career. This is probably something that runs on this Fei siblings' gene, both of them are Consistent about their passion, Just How Feini is still trying for 5 years to get into University & never stopped dreaming about becoming a writer one day. Coming into the capital to marry Lin mei was the reason Fei ting left the job in the northern area where he was doing just fine. Calling him a 'failure' or 'pushover' or a 'stupid' is a bit overstatement, i just feel sorry for him to get stuck in a situation where he can't do his best but can't let go of it easily too.
