second this so much!! a drama doesn't need to have a UNIQUE and original storyline to be good. do people consider that some of us just like light hearted dramas with not much going on? like i watch all types of kdramas and seeing a soft one like this in the middle of so many darker-themed ones feels like a fresh air. people just like to complain about everything smh

i agree with everything about his character, but just to clear up - due to mandatory service, men usually enlist in the army either before starting uni or in the middle of their career. so they finish high school at 19yo, enter uni being 20yo, usually do one or two years before enlisting (for regular men, enlisting at 21 or 22 is the appropriate age and anything after is considered late), so if he enlisted at 21-22 he'd be out at 23-24, went back to uni and that makes him 25 and a senior. or if he enlisted right after high school/ before starting uni, that's 20yo + 1.5 or 2 years is roughly 22, then started uni and that makes him a senior at 25.

that makes sense but also san was seen postrated along with deokim before the king so maybe he might either be merciful or remember her? she has found grace in his eyes twice (first as a kid and then as a court lady advocating for the cp before she knew he was the cp), so maybe that will save her again? am i tripping;;;; god i don't want her to suffer that's all...

i didn't know this was directed by a woman, it certainly shows on the AMAZING camerawork, absolutely great female lead and female characters and wonderful female gaze shots of junho as the CP. i must confess i've had to hold my breath more than once with how subtly, yet immensely sensual their scenes together are, of course not taking away the great work both leads do to show the strong desire and unspoken longing that deokim and san have for each other. that bath scene was honestly one of the best not-so-intimate-yet-extremely-intimate-and-passionate scene i've ever seen.

i don't think saying Junho proves idols can act is taking away other idols' credits tho??? you can say the idol you like is proof that idols can act and that doesn't mean others don't... this is a very weird gatekeeping attitude and you're making it be a problem where there's none.

first 6 eps were painful to watch, the constant romantization of seungyoo and yoonsoo really bothered me (camerawork, closeups, ost in their scenes, etc), but now that seungyoo is a grown-up and how the story is developing is making me excited for the next eps. it became unexpectedly good for me.
if you're considering whether to watch this show bc of the teacher student r/s, you can skip the first 6 eps and just watch/read a summary bc you don't really need to /watch/ them to jump into ep7 with the time skip, a detailed summary will do. but i'd definitely recommend it so far.
also this is kinda wild but i'd love a happy ending with seungyoo and yoonsoo kinda adopting sian and becoming a happy family of math nerds? i know seungyoo is only like 6 years older than sian, but pls work it somehow. my girlie deserves a happy family.

Thinking the infected ones are humans is their first mistake. They are not, they can lose control at any time and put people in danger. Why did Yihyun give the writer the keys of the cuffs, when she's not a trained person to know how to react in these situations? Why did he snap the water bottle from the masked guy like that, as if he was a teenager who got his stuff touched? Why does he trespass in everyone's houses as he pleases? Why did Saebom let the infected wife go, when she could've remained isolated in the bathroom of her house? Sure, the dermatologist is not a saint and does nothing to praise him at all, but letting the wife go was a big mistake, because now the grandma is infected for that reason, and will infect other people.
I'm not defending any resident, they are all stupid, selfish and terribly annoying for sure. Everyone in the drama is.
I've been saying since the very beginning that Saebom particularly does not have the personality to be in an antiterrorism squad, she's hot-headed, doesn't plan and reacts to everything with her emotions, just like Yihyun, except that Yihyun is not supposed to be well-trained to face terror attacks and plan logic strategies, as Saebom should, but never does. They could've given her another type of public force position, but this one in particular does not fit her at all and doesn't even have any relevance to the plot. And Yihyun is just a thug cop who thinks beating people around and yelling at them makes him a good cop, lol.

Did you read my comment and just decided to say whatever you wanted unrelated to it? I said "dumbest MAIN LEADS", I didn't say they are the dumbest or most annoying characters IN THE SHOW. Clearly, the residents are all evil, stupid and annoying. Never once I implied they weren't, so you're barking at the wrong tree here, because I never defended the residents. The fact that I criticize the main leads doesn't mean I'm on the residents' side. Learn to read and that you can take a position about something (disliking the main leads) without taking a side (the residents' or the main leads'). Everyone in this show is absolutely dislikeable, except Saeyoung. Han Taesok is the only one I tolerate sometimes.

If this is a life and death situation, then why do they get upset at Han Taesok's actions? He killed an infected person and locks up other infected ones, yet both Yihyun and Saebom act like he's inhumane and heartless. They think they're all morally correct and above everyone, but in reality they're hypocrites. Saebom has put people in danger more than once, yet her actions are glorified. Yes, every resident is stupid and incredibly annoying, but Yihyun and Saebom are not any less of that, just in a different way. They're thugs that get a pass because they're cops lol
