that's why I love manhwa men
it's because they are written by women. no male character is better than the ones written by women.

omg that's impressive... tbh i found MPD much more interesting than Grid, tho I like both, and I think Grid is getting more interesting as eps progress.

this drama is literally so boring. i love both leads and i watch it for them but it's literally a punishment. every character is either very annoying or plain. the only interesting thing going on is hakyung and the other forecaster's relationship. wish they could get more scenes and maybe i wouldn't be so bored the entire show. only looking forward to their scenes at this point.
On Military Prosecutor Doberman Mar 11, 2022
it bothers me a lot that baeman's morals change is because of his (newly discovered) personal vendetta against no hwayoung/no taenam and not because of a general conscious/empathy. like i know it's a kdrama and everything, but i can't like a character who was willing to suck up to a rapist knowing that he was a rapist, repeater at that, and even willing to go against another prosecutor who helped the victim only for his personal gain. i can watch and enjoy triggering content like gore and gross things, but the one thing where i draw the line and can't go over is mentions/portrayals of rape/sexual assault of any kind and level, and in this case it was a sort of gang rape (idk if only 2 count but yeah, more than one), drugging, physical assault, recording, sharing the video... in a country like south korea where this is a very common crime against women, i hate to see it displayed in kdramas as if it was just some plot line. yes, i know it happens in reality and the idea is to show real things in kdramas and whatever. i'm not saying they can't use it --because at the end of the day, they can write whatever they want-- but it just bothers me a lot personally. maybe it's because south korea is very misogynistic and the law system is a joke, especially towards female victims of sexual assaults, but seeing things like this used as simple kdrama plot lines upsets me, and even more that the main character of the show doesn't really give a sh!t about it.i hope he gets a really good redemption arc cuz my boy started really low. jeon pildo would spit on and kick do baeman's a$$. i miss him

this is the best example of clichés done right. they purposely include every possible cliché and it feels right, they are done so well and every character is so likeable. i just bingewatched all 4 eps back to back and had so much fun. these days i'm too busy and my attention span is reduced so i always make pauses between eps, but i watched all 4 eps nonstop and ended up wishing for more. this is really good. also sejeong looks gorgeous, i can't stop staring at her whenever she's on the shot. her hair and smile look particularly beautiful here. obviously hyeseop looks amazing too, absolutely charming. i love that his character is cold and this cliché chaebol director, but he's sweet to her and doesn't mistreat her like in this usual chaebol trope. of course that's the point.
also, seol inah is so gorgeous. whenever i see her in dramas i can never just ignore how beautiful she is. she looks really nice in this show too and her character is very likeable and relatable.
finally, i love seeing more of kim mingyu. i've seen him in quite a handful dramas now and i love that he's getting bigger roles every time. hopefully his next role will be a leading one! he totally deserves it.

It's not a movie about a marginalized community, it's a romcom made to be released on Valentine's Day.
i don't mean to be offensive at all but why are you as an ace looking for relatable characters in a movie about bdsm...? i think it's pretty expected that the movie wouldn't cater to you.

is this your first time seeing him act? if so, i'm glad! i would like to recommend you some of his dramas but tbh his lead roles so far haven't been in particularly good dramas. i personally enjoyed imitation but i admit it's not good, and let me be your knight was ok too but nothing impressive, but there's class of lies that i haven't seen yet and everyone says it's really good so you could check it out! he also had a small role in D.P. and that drama is absolutely worth the watch. (sorry for the long reply lol)

it could've been better but it's very enjoyable! impressive that sk is expanding to such a taboo topic even in less conservative countries, yet they managed to portray really nicely how kinks work, the societal shaming that comes along, even self kink-shaming and how love can bloom out of it. jun looked amazing too, i had to replay certain scenes cuz i was too caught up in his face to read the subs lmao i also love how he's improved his acting so much and even got a lead role in a netflix movie. love that for my boy! can't wait to see him getting bigger main lead roles in kdramas too.

Your view on relationships and dating is very romanticized. I am not saying it's wrong, but it's simply the reality…
my views on relationships are romanticized because I don't support a drama where the male lead is a jerk that would only hurt women? i never judged casual relationships, in fact, they are pretty fine. the problem is when you are like nabi, clearly wishing for a stable partner, but date a jerk like jaeeon, who doesn't give a sh*t about your feelings and wishes, only when you're drifting away from him and trying to find inner peace. on top of everything, you, being like nabi, knowingly want a good partner but keep dating jaeeon and even say "i know you will hurt me but i still want you", what kinda sh*t*ss message is this? and what character growth are you talking about at all? nabi and jaeeon had a 360° turn lmao they were moving forward to possibly change but went back to 0. there's literally nothing to learn about relationships from the main couple of this drama. the only reasons why i didn't give it straight out 0 stars were the GL and the second male lead (even tho i didn't root for him to end up with nabi). you have either never dated irl or just dated jerks lol it is realistic, that doesn't mean it's not fucked up lol. i encourage you to date good people every once in a while.

Title The Red Sleeve Spoiler
i loved this from start to finish and i was really sad with the ending, which for me means that it was amazing. but there's something that didn't make me feel as connected as i thought i would be, therefore cry as much as i expected to. i think it's because deokim neglected the position too much until the point it felt completely forced and that probably didn't let me enjoy it as much.

yes, i know that it's not like she didn't completely want to, and that san didn't force her at all, even gave her the choice to leave - i'm aware of that. but at the end of the day, she was still coerced into doing it, and even if they were happy when they were together, for me the fact that she didn't completely want to do it makes me a bit upset, not in a sad way, but in a bit annoyed way. i literally just finished it and i have mixed feelings rn, so i may be just rambling without forming an actual sound opinion. but there's smth that i still can't completely put into words that didn't let me connect fully with the ending.

still, this is one of the very few saeguks that actually kept me interested from start to finish, even in the politics, so i think that says a lot about how amazing this drama was. junho and seyoung did an amazing job in their roles and deserve every single award they got and to get even more. the top excellence awards really fit them completely. i loved their chemistry, their acting, the build-up of their relationship (truly the best thing, bc there's no way i would've waited 15 eps for them to get together if it wasn't this amazing), their interactions, their personalities, all the supporting cast was as perfect as them as well. truly one of the best shows in 2021.

the only reason why i'm not giving it 10/10 is bc 1) their first kiss was forced and that annoyed me sooooo much, it felt like a slap in the face bc there's no way yisan, the man who was too afraid to touch deokim's face when she was sleeping, would force a kiss on her. i know he was upset and all that, but it felt like smth he would never do and it pissed me off that THIS was what we waited 14 eps for. 2) that thing that i'm still not sure about relating to their feelings and the ending, i still can't put it into words but i'll give it some thought and come back.

but once again, this is still one of the best dramas i've watched and probably the best saeguk i've seen along with scarlet heart ryeo. totally recommended.

it was boring but some things made it sort of interesting. eps 15-16 were among the best of the show, not exactly good, but the rest was just annoying in most ways. it's not the worst thing i saw this year but it wasn't exactly good either. wouldn't have watched if not for dohyun 100%. would totally not recommend.

like i said, it was mentioned in the conversation i told you. you can go back to that part for reference. if there was no queen he wouldn't he looking for a concubine but a queen. and yes, i know the story too. she passes away after her son dies, but also i think it's unnecessary of you to tell me this because even tho it is a historical fact, it could be a spoiler for the people watching the show without knowing the history of it, and i could've been one of them who gets their drama spoiled.

actually, there is a queen. i think it was in ep 14 when he was complaining to his mother about choosing deokro's sister, he said something like "my mother is from XX family, my queen as well, so you're happy that my concubine is from hong's family too?" i don't remember the exact words, but he did say that here. i do think it's too implicit and no one ever mentions it, plus the fact that the queen has not given birth in 4 years of reign is never explained either.
