i was liking this drama a lot and i wont keep on adding fuel to the fire cause enough has been said about the…
I don't understand how people say it was normal and on character for Saeon to ditch her like that. He knew she would be waiting for him in pain and desperate, not knowing anything about him. In Ep 11, he told his mother that he knew she would keep Heejoo alive for years and once he moved on, she would bring Heejoo so they both regret the time not shared together. Why would he ditch her to fight some country's war without telling her anything, knowing how much time they've lost together? It's so out of character and nonsensical. The whole Argan plot could've been skipped, not to mention that one news scene that didn't add anything to the plot, nor did it mean anything. That scene could be removed from the ep and it would change nothing because it added nothing to the plot. Such a stupid ending, honestly. Almost feels like someone else directed it.
I was done at Ep 11, 52 minutes. that was the stupidest thing to do in the whole series. press the ⛽ gas and…
Literally! Like why would you stop ans get out of the car when the man that wants you and your wife killed is outside with a shotgun? Also, they never explained the gunshot on Saeon, or did I miss that? So weird.
Dude literally threw his career away with his own hands just while he was gaining respect and love from all fans.…
I haven't seen anyone defending him. Everyone is calling him out both on Twitter, on Insta and on K-sites. There will always be those who defend any actions of a man, unfortunately, but by the looks of it, the response to this incident has been generally negative, as it should be.
This drama was like 5 dramas in one. Started with one theme and ended with another completely different.Thr main leads are great obviously, but even they couldn't really save it. I feel bad because the wife of Jeongwon's friend was miserable from start to end and it didn't serve any purpose to the story. Very weird writing in general.
LET ME SAY SOMETHING. I trust Somin and Haein acting so much so I know they will nail it but I keep thinking about…
I'm also still hoping for the twist where we find out that she loved him all along too but she didn't want to do anything in order not to damage their friendship. I have the same concerns as you. If SR didn't like him as a man all along, it would feel too sudden if she suddenly falls for him now. I hope she realizes that all that time, she was just in love with him too.
This wasn't the greatest watch, but it surely was entertaining. I agree with the comment below that the switch up of genres was a bit strange, but I wouldn't say it was necessarily bad because of that. The main reason why I started it was because of Kuanghan anyway, and I'm quite satisfied with his performance and character, so I don't complain. I absolutely need a S2 after knowing how apparently important Kuanghan's character would be in the event it comes out, so I need D+ to be serious and get this show a S2. I just absolutely love the idea of Kuanghan in K-shows. He's incredible.
I think it can be because of different genre. Where they wanted the even crying scene to be bit funny. Or if can…
You are so spot-on with that scene because I watched that drama years ago when it came out and yet I was immediately transported to the scene with your description. She's really great! Tho I agree with OP that the delivery in those emotional scenes in this show wasn't that good.
What's with the low rating? I know slow and sad stories aren't for everyone, but this movie was beyond beautiful. Scenery, background music, cinematography, acting, storyline... I feel like this movie has a great balance of everything and leaves you a beautiful bittersweet savor within.
Kuanghan was amazing as always! I loved how he once again could be both a teenager and a grown adult in the same movie just with a small change of hairstyle and clothing. He truly is such a versatile actor! Also, I absolutely loved his Japanese both when he was shy still learning it and later on when he was much more confident and proficient. I didn't expect him to be so good at it but of course he was! So proud of him. Can't wait for his appearance in NO Way Out and see him hopefully speaking Korean.
Overall, I loved this movie and I think it's a great watch with rewatch value despite the theme. I'll definitely recommend it a lot.
