Someone commented that this is a short novel, like 24 chapters? And its being drawn out into 48 episodes, on TV. So there will be fillers, slower pace etc...There are fewer turn of events happening and more of peeking into daily affairs, etc. And if you expect a romance heavy drama, this isn't quite that.

That's the most logical assumption - for the baby. There's no way that's HS's kid as she isn't even pregnant yet, whereas TL is already on her way to giving birth.

I admire Di Xu for his wit and intelligence, and how fast he can grasp a situation. Actually, he doesn't have such bad EQ, as compared with FJM in certain quarters, just that his anger management is a huge issue!

Xu Kai Cheng was saying that everytime he puts on the ring on his finger, he becomes a different person, he has to develop this persona where he is furious most of the time and he has this haughty look on his face. Whereas in real life, he is nothing like that.

I believe so, we even get a scene where the camera shows her gown being removed, and her shoulders bared, so there will definitely be kissing scenes. More so as YM herself said that there were many, and they both didn't feel akward as they had worked together in the past.

The question is whether FJM survives, there is a rumoured ending that DX dies and leaves the baby to FJM's care. But then again, that photo could have jolly well been FJM carrying the baby during the filming for fun, which has nothing to do with the storyline at all.

Though I had a recent encounter with Stand By Me, and for once, I didn't mind one of those open endings, so I could make myself believe whatever made me happy.

yes I saw that baby photo too, on a YT channel, someone made a commentary, predicting what will happen. True, it could be photo shopped. Though if that is true, then the earlier so-call leaked ending is that HS and FJM stay in the palace as stewards for the crown prince till he comes of age, then they finally leave the palace. But that's an unconventional ending for the story. FJM dying is more typical.

I think DX will be heart broken, the term used in the video was to be buried with her, typically used for consorts/wifes to be buried with their spouses. He may take a poisonous wine? Though, that's a bit too irresponsible for him, unless he was so badly injured that the death of Ti Lan really breaks his heart and sends him to his grave faster.

The c-drama viewer who has been disappointed many times in me agrees. I've already consoled myself that at least they had some 'me' time together and definitely moments of intimacy. She told FJM that even if theirs was not a marriage for long, she won't regret it.

i like to get a feel of the drama from watching it, to make an informed choice. Reading others' comments, well, it's based on the viewers' perspective, and we all have our own preferences. So what someone likes may not be what I like.

She went to get reinforcements, thus could not fight with FJM by his side. I suspect she brings the reinforcements in time. But by the time she arrivesFJM is wounded (badly?) - I suspect he was at a recovery stage from the poison, so he may not have been the fittest and one man against so many isn't an easy fight. And prolly because Ti Lan was kidnapped, she gave birth to the baby but was too weak and died during childbirth.

well, look on the bright side, at least we got E45-47 with candy moments. Though I suspect only half of E47 will be candy.

So finally, HS finds out about the poison, and probably why she was carted off to be the consort, hearing all this from the Emperor. Sigh, the poor girl always finds out about things from others, way after they occur. She will probably be hard on herself for not knowing. This is why she will bring the mermaid to the palace, to calm the Lei Zhou folks and to cure FJM. And Prince JC will do whatever it takes to prevent her from making it back alive.
