Lol... it looks like people are watching the trailers before tonight's episodes???
oh yes, that's my style. LOL. In fact for some dramas that had completed airing, I used to watch the ending first before deciding if I would watch the show. I know, weird, but to each his own!
where did you get that impression? Ti Lan has been kidnapped, the rebellion army is making an attack. and the Emperor wants to save her. There is going to be massive blood shed. This is the scene where HS rushes into FJM's bed chamber, and he lies on her lap - is that a death scene or not?
Today we will be getting the most awaited preview..The last 2 episode trailers..Is it going to be filled with…
It is indeed as we guessed, the rebellion army. And they've kidnapped Ti Lan and her maid. Hai Shi has gone for reinforcements. So the scene where Hai Shi runs with her white gown covered with blood, and then she rushes into Sifu's chamber and he lies on her lap, this is E48. Is that the scene where he dies in her arms?
William Chan said it's HEBE when asked about the ending.
I watched a Chinese youtuber not too long ago, of course it's speculative on her part, but what she says is that Ti Lan dies during childbirth and the Emperor collapses, the pain of losing not one but two women is too hard to bear, and he eventually dies from heartbreak. He appoints FJM as his son's steward and HS as the sole concubine has to ascend the throne to act as regent. This is possibly what HEBE means. Because HS as regent certainly is an impediment to the both of them living their lives together, as planned. Again, this is all speculative...so left to be seen.
Agree..The best part in this drama is no love traingle and annoying obsessed 2nd female lead..On ZL..I was so…
though I think Xu Kai Cheng looks like an expecting father when he shouted for the physician to check on FJM. It's quite hilarious watching him sometimes.
Tonight we will see the last trailers. Trailers can be deceiving, but we can see a glimpse from it. Perhaps Jichang…
the same thought crossed my mind, he escapes from prison, and the remnants of the Huku tribe attack from outside while a few stealthy rebels attack from within the palace.
I haven't read the novel, just caught bits and pieces of it from this thread. In the novel, the Emperor and FJM die. HS acts as regent for her son (with the Emperor) until he becomes of age to rule the kingdom. HS also frees Ti Lan from the palace to be with the one she loves, if not mistaken, General Tang. In the novel, FJM castrated himself so his future generation won't have to become baixi. He is completely loyal to the Emperor and though he dotes upon HS, the love part is not possible in his condition. As for the Emperor, though he knew HS loves FJM, he still forces himself upon her (or something to that effect) and eventually HS and the Emperor are romantically involved.
interesting! thanks heaps for summarising it for us. Much appreciated. I can imagine the howls of fury from those who wanted the original novel ending to be maintained. LOL
I don’t know why the writers change the novel story so much in the drama , why not stick with the novel . Ahh…
Pray tell, what is the leaked ending and where did you get wind of it?
@empress - really, that scene made me ever so slightly flushed. For someone who's been holding back all this time, and totally disciplined about his desires, he sure is in a hurry to release his pent-up emotions.
My heart exploded watching the review for episode 45. OMG finally he is really letting it all out! 😍I tell…
me too, i was grinning away from ear to ear. Even if the ending goes southbound, at least we have two episodes where they have their me-time.
Sorry, don't mean to be perverse, but you can say that again "he is letting it all out"... I am referring to the scene where FJM is in a hurry to complete the consummation night ritual, on the floor! (ROFL)
Haishi/Madam Pearl is now a politician and celebrity, my girl is moving on up in the world 😊. This is basically…
lol, oh yes, Hai Shi as his wife, when he has a grown-up daughter. Geez. Well, there was a scene with Zhe Liu on the horse with Zhuo Ying... I can't wait for them to reunite! Yes, she is showing her worth and ability to navigate the political arena, which makes sense for her to assume the role as Empress/ regent.

Indeed, Princess Tara not being a pain-in-the-neck is such a blessing.
