Eternal Love, Melting Me Softly and The King Eternal Monarch really surprised me to be on this list, especially…
Lol King The Eternal Monarch and Melting Me Softly were flops in Korea. And I think a lot drama-watchers struggle with Historical C-dramas (at least I do) perhaps that's why Eternal Love is on the list.
I'm seeing clips, comments, reviews, articles and posts about how good this show is and this is exactly the drama that I've been longing for... the good "old school clichéd yet oh so good Rom-com" that SKorea was once famous for BUT I am a bingewatcher and idk if I'd be able to wait every week if I start watching while it's still airing 😭😥 I wish if every show airs the way Netflix Originals airs.
Wow she's a specialist in writing for remakes of Movies? Crowned Clown was remake of the Masquerade and Hometown CCC was of Mr. Hong. But her works are good.
Out of 63 dramas in the list I have marked 56 I think. Though I have dropped majority of the dramas while tbh the dramas that didn't really catch my eyes were Mouse, Untamed and True Beauty. I was never interested in these shows otherwise all other shows caught my eyes and while I failed to complete some I like a few listed here.
Woah just completed watching it and all I can say is that I almost missed a good drama. I wasn't really excited to watch it cuz I've been in a slump and now gradually out of it. The show had those Reply Series type vibes where the show focused on each character rather than just solely focusing on the Leads. I felt so relaxed while watching this. It had that variety show feel too since they had a variety show filming in the drama itself. The Story was rather simple without any bad guys or anything. Had great acting, cinematography and OST was soothing too. It did felt a bit slow at times and I kinda skipped a few scenes here and there but the last 2 Eps were the best part. I cried and laughed the most in those two episodes. I loved the cast tbh everyone did a good job but my Favourite were Bora, Yi-jun and Gam-ri Grandma. Over-all a good watch. Especially when you are bored after a long day.
Idk what is Disney doing with Kdramas. I get that they're rebranding these dramas as "Star Originals" Star+ is a sub-channel on Disney+ but at least make the shows available globally when you already have purchased the rights then why stick to only 5-6 countries in Southeast Asia?
Such a beautiful Heartwarming family drama without any regular soap opera element like amnesia, birth secrets or villains. Although I can't say I hated any particular character but my favourite were the Main Couple and the Youngest, Im Heon and Geum Min-a. They had really great chemistry. Idk why this show had low tv ratings in Korea? Perhaps the target audience like “Makjang”.
Or you can always watch on Kissasian or dramacool.

I was excited cuz of Shi-Yoon but I don't know anymore.
