If it's a drama/movie that's originally a certain language and was dubbed by a different language, I would always opt for the original with subs! But for Cdramas, they dub chinese with another chinese so I don't think there's a choice there xD

Now that I think about it, it does differentiates between Asia dramas! Other than them speaking Chinese, it was the dub over that make us know it's a CN production!

Me too, I was surprised too! But then when I think back and remember their voice I'm like: 'YEHH SAME VOICE'.
I honestly think Zhao Lusi is a mix of both her voice and a dub over? I could not really find any solid information on it so I didn't put her in.

Yes, I totally agree with you. I also once hated Cdramas because of the production and mainly voice dubbing. But it has been improving slowly. That is only why I started watching them. Now I can't get out of it xD

And yes, even though I really like voice dubbing, that does not include those that are badly done. Also, I'm very selective when it comes to Cdramas :)

Yes, sometimes I think that voice dubbing shouldn't be the reason why people avoid Cdramas. I once did that myself and kinda regret it ( you watch famous dramas only when the hype is over, no fun :'D )

Audio dramas are so interesting and so far I only find China doing it! And yes, I agree with you that CN actually has more than enough budget to make a better production. Voice dubbing aside, the editors/production team are the lazy ones that do bad syncing causing people to hate dub overs which is kinda sad as voice actors actually do a very good job.

You basically concluded my whole article. Many was blinded by how bad the production/syncing the Cdramas are and really overlooked the effort made by voice actors.

I myself am very into radio dramas/audio dramas and really appreciate how they produced emotions through only voice.

I could not deny that there are really times that the syncing really gets on my nerves but this could not be blamed onto the culture of voice dubbing but the production/editors team.

I strongly agree with you on how voice is where the heart of performance lies :) And, it would be great to give credits to voice actors in MDL :D

I hope Brazil will get someone to dub any Cdramas you wished to watch ! And yes, I think Cdramas has a lot of space of improvements. Maybe you could start with Cdramas that have actors dubbing their own voices? I reckon there are some on Netflix.

I TOTALLY agree with you!! Some might not realize how hard and amazing of a job voice actors do :') And not everyone is that great in controlling their voices cause if that is the case, they might as well just become a voice actor, aye?

Bian Jiang's voice just breaks down all the walls for me. His voice its JUST.SO.GOOD ! I could not imagine him whispering into my ears , it'll send shivers down my spine XD
