It’s General Wei of S2 possessed by the demon lord that’s why he can use magic.

I’m about to finish this drama and I must say that Qu Xiang Tan is so blood thirsty, she doesn’t even deserve to be called QTE/QXT original self.

True. I saw him in Dr. Cutie and I think the FL did most of the acting there. Lol. But at least he has some chemistry if paired with a bubbly FL. With the never ending trope of cold prince, I think he’ll still get work in the future. But I do wonder if he has some rich parents or backer, because he’s the lead for some dramas from “decent sized” production houses.

The Eternal Love 3 is mostly for fans of S1 & S2 because we know what to expect, which is the best chemistry between Liang Jie and Xing Zhao Lin. So I don’t suggest watching S3 for your first drama because you will find it confusing since a lot of references for their shared memories and body swapping logic is from S1 & S2.

Also TEL is known for having a lot of smooches, so if you’re allergic to that don’t watch.

If yo want the more serious stories with more court drama, crime stuff, or family drama try watching the highly rated costume series below but be aware of the long episode count:
- Joy of Life - court drama, male lead is not IDOL level good looking but great plot (I commented on his looks based on my preference and not his acting, so JoL sasaengs hold your vile)
- Story of Minglan - family drama with great side characters
- Untamed - based on BL
- Under the Power - crime solving, with only 1 kiss scene

Try the following with dominant male leads with great qi gong/kung fu:
- Legend of Yunxi with Zhang Zhe Han
- Blooms at Ruyi Pavillion with Zhang Zhe Han
- General’s Lady
- Queen of Attack - mini drama but ML hates the FL at the beginning
- Love Better than Immortality - Li Hongyi is the misunderstood powerful evil sect leader that is dominant and loves to tease Zhao Lusi

I love our Chengcheng being so meta in this scene. XD IRL and in the story, all true.

AvenueX explained that the script for TEL3 was already finished before Tiger and Rose aired so just coincidence.

AvenueX mentioned in her vid that technically S3 was first on the plot because the script for TEL3 was finished before that of TrOTAR.

Liang Jie and Xing Zhao Lin’s chemistry is one of the best because it actually gained S1 a lot of fans even with the low production quality and budget. They’re the only CP that have 4 dramas together that are not or not yet a couple in real life. That’s how strong their chemistry is.

I wanted to do this but I just couldn’t resist so I’m watching as soon as each ep is dropped. But will definitely binge watch S4 all over again like what I did for S1 & S2 (4x). Tan’er and Chengcheng chemistry is just that great.

I think they don’t have control about losing their child in S1 & S2 because it’s basically up to the body swapping “train” what happens to them and where they end up in. They are the only 2 people who apparently can travel across time.

We can only hope. But Liang Jie’s sched is fully packed until 2022. If they do have S4 Yu’er might be a teen by that time. That or we finally hear the news that LJ and XZL finally made everything real. Lol.

TEL is definitely the drama you either like or you don’t. So if you didn’t like the S2 maybe S3 is not just your cup of tea? For all other TEL fans, I guess we just can’t get enough of the CP Liang Jie and Xing Zhao Lin so S3 is one of our most anticipated drama for 2021z

Hopefully not but so far LJ is pretty booked until 2022. But maybe if they get great ratings again and comments in WeTV channel they might consider S4?

Yes I think they used a different voice actress for the empress. It’s super different from LJ’s speaking and Tan’er voice. I totally liked it because they’re selling the mysterious scary empress.
