Let’s take a moment to think about the type of CONFUSION that is going on, inside of Jang Bong-Hwan/Kim So-Yong.Is…
Let's take a moment to appreciate the writer's brilliant idea to trick homophobic haters.... 'we'll make the gay bits look straight, and the straight stuff look gay' ^^ Haters: 'confused pikachu face'
Yep, even I used to think 1million is the point where insta offers you the blue tick... but i have seen many a k-pop celebrities with the blue tick with around 500k/600k followers (the backup artists, choreographers etc)... Also, verification needs some id proofs and other formalities to be fulfilled by insta, including a close zoom-in of your face as your DP while your profile is being considered (last I heard was more than a year back)... Yep, KJH definitely is very intelligent, and seems to have a very high EQ (no wonder he is a method actor).. ^^ I'm happy he's in a position to once again indulge fan-requests <3
that since the lock on 'Simp-Brother' and 'Cool-Director with bad art-skills', was defective, they'd likely have made their escape and landed up in the forest (very conveniently) at the point of action? :3
I'm really not sold on the story of a male soul occupying a female body and falling in love with another male.…
It isn't 'male' suddenly falling in love with another 'male' that's not selling it to you......what you probably meant was a straight man, who is depicted as a serial womanizer/ player, ends up falling for another man. The sudden change in sexual preference isn't convincing to a lot, but the writers have adequately explained it, albeit in covert terms, which is kinda also stretched out a little?... (aka slow burn) I think you should absolutely join in on the watch, and join back on the comment section! ^^
The reason he doesn't have the blue-check on insta, and also very few followers, was because he closed down his account after his online bullying days. Guess he wanted to tune out the toxicity for the sake of his mental health. Once he got back, he started posting afresh, his old, ooolllddd posts no longer exist. A fraction of his followers returned for this account. Hence, the few number of posts. Plus his profile pic isn't a closeup of his face, he needs that to get verified (and can change to whatever he wants after that)... also, he's soo sweet, he promised his fans to post more, despite not being an active instagrammer <3
Dude, they are actors, it's their job. Imagine if all actors who played love interest would end up dating. Park…
Lmao, PMY was the reason I stopped shipping k-actors together. After following her filmography when I got into k-dramas, I thought she made a better pair with every actor who followed next. WTH....i was tired from following all the shipping threads, and was content to know two men got lucky with her at different points of her career, and now she's too big a star to publicly date anymore T_T Nonetheless, BinJin make an adorable couple, hope there is happiness abundant for them in the future :3
The acting is over the charts in the Korean version. The dual carried this drama for me, despite a flawed script…
Hi!.... as I read the blurbs of your historical CDramas that were problematic, I instantly knew which ones you meant, lmao! A peek at your watchlist confirmed my suspicion. About your question on Rebel Princess, I have a feeling you'll like it, it's along the lines of MingLan (and not the other kind which is like silly c-drama like chinese version of Mr. Queen)... The ML in Rebel Princess is amazing, and the absolute opposite kind from the tortured hero with problematic childhood who needs to assault his gf. Infact, Sleepless Princess is also a LOT like goofy dramas such as Tiger & Rose minus the assault bit, and has pretty good cinematography. The recos are by other users are pretty solid, hope you give them a try :3
What are the other 2? I know one is the letter writing mis-identity reference... but can't recall the other.
One was the mistaken identity of the childhood friend/ saviour. The other was the 'birdhouse-scene' parody, where the Queen decides to meet up at the secret spot, but the King turns up, and she's like: 'why, why is it you who's here' while some sad/ sweet bg music plays xD xD
The THIRD easter-egg reference to start-up from Mr. Queen... in the very words of our wisecrack FL: 'Life is like a treadmill. If you stop running, you fall down'. OMG, the writers are DAEBAK xD xD
This one had a very 'artsy' way of story-telling, and felt unique...The character interpretations too felt different...…
Yup, they changed some of the plot points too, which effectively changed the characters also to a large extent.... ugh, each movie has its own place. Not considering the slick cinematography (oof, that snow-scene was my fave).... I don't think I can pick out a 'better' one.
Really??? Did he accepted it that he likes her??? Romantically or just as a good friend???Pls tell me!!!
Now that you mention it, I see why she might have turned him down. He's an idol afterall, and comes with a rabid, problematic fan-base. Ain't no sensible person gonna risk that even for on-set attraction. Infact, I don't even see any of these idol-actors dating anytime soon. It's also heartbreaking with how an MS comes and takes away 2-ish years from your career, when you're getting started. Coupled with this, effectively, marriageable age for k-ent stars has been pushed from early 30's to late 30's and early 40's now. And this really toxic outlook towards 'married'= 'old' & 'less appeal' = 'dwindling fanbase'. Sad indeed. There are legit fans who will quit the fandom, if their 'oppas/ unnis' decide to settle down. Bizarre.
There maybe a lot of problems in C-ent, luckily, this isn't one of them... But then again, C-ent runs around 5-10 years behind the k-ent trend/ fad, so the younger gen of C-ent stars will be 'publicly single' for a looooong time to come T_T Ps. I feel married actors bring more sizzling chemistry on-screen. Which is why it's even more of shame none of them getting hitched :'( :'(

Hello peeps from the Start-up comment section!... :D PHS said PBY checks all of his boxes of an 'ideal' woman for him. She is also the type which makes him want to 'protect her at all costs'. Then went and commented *how* similar MinMin's character is to his IRL persona, which is why it's so easy for him to blur lines, between what was MinMin's feelings and what were his own. Since Bo Young is pretty low-key on soc-med, *even* if they were in a relationship, we would never know. The popular conjecture is, she didn't date him, and he went away heartbroken for his MS..... T_T Sadly, k-ent has become so toxic, we have caused an entire generation of actors to become commitment-phobic over the years. Gone are the days when co-stars would meet on set, take it beyond into the real world, and we'd get wedding news a few years later. All those 'couples in public relationships' belong to one/two generations earlier. :'( :'(

'Move aside noobs, lemme show you how it's done....' :P :P
Has So-Bong already started to affect the timeline, and make it an alternate universe?
