I have imagined such a scene. I have indeed imagined.

P.s: THIS IS A COMMENT ABOUT THE SOURCE MATERIAL IF IT MIGHT SPOIL YOU DON'T READ BEYOND THE CAPS

I read in these comments somewhere that in the novel Yai is dating a transgender person, which I wonder if it's going to show up in the series at some point. But I haven't read the book and I don't know how reliable this info is.

True but even so, in episode 7, when he was talking to Tharn at that event they were on security for? I was barely looking at Tharn. He is cast as supporting role comic relief, but he stands out a lot.

At this point I'll take scenes of Yai at least shirtless by the pool at Tharn's condo๐Ÿ˜‚I feel like the producers are being stingy about showing him off.

"Now if they'd only go back to giving us more shirtless Yai. " PREACH. Before this show ends, this is a MUST.

Ngl, the post credit scene of ep7 kinda put me off this show. Why are these two grown ass people literally physically struggling with each other up the stairs? I assume it's meant to be for comic relief, but it actually just came across as dumb. It's bad enough they're both simping after Liu Li for no clear reason, but they both seem like two dudes who have their sh*t together, even if they are both pursuing the same person, that last scene seems like ridiculous behaviour and makes them both look like idiots. ๐Ÿ˜•

This show has taken the lead for me for BL's this year, it's even ahead of Last Twilight on my list. This episode cemented that, I mean, DAYUM, the layers of the characters in this ep? The acting? The interaction of all of them as family and friends? The humor? The tension? The chemistry of Phaya and Tharn? The pacing? The plot? Yai being all around amazeballs? JUST WINNING ALL THE WAY. Keen for episode 7.

Adorable. Great Episode. The scene where they fake each other out on the beach was pretty funny. I also think that Mhok playing a mediator between Day and Night is hilarious but also shows what a good guy he is, trying to help them clear up their differences slowly but surely.

But how's that doctor talking to Day like he's gonna die.
'Do everything you want to in 3 months.'
I mean, bro he's got lotsa life to do things all the things he wants, it's not like he's been seeing sh*t for a year, making it sound like he's on his way out ๐Ÿ˜‚

And thanks for that reminder. I am thinking about rewatching because I cannot wait for their next show, SunsetxVibes…
I'm also keen for SxV. I hope the story is better for them this time.

LOLLLL you are one of those who thinks everything made by Japanese is superior...thinks a pile of shite by Japanese…
Lol I like your username so I'm going to comment here. I agree, JBL's on a scale of 1-10 are about a 3.5 to 4 for me. One in every ten passes muster, which is barely anything. But that's just taste at the end of the day. The original commenter is pushing JBL's here because the Japanese Cherry Magic was one of the very few good ones, so that gives them a reason to cry a river about it in this comment thread so they can draw attention to whatever's made them butthurt about the adaptation.

But real talk; many of Thailand's mid BL's are better than Japan's 'best'.

The Sign, Last Twilight and Cherry Magic ALL served this week.
This episode was hilarious, from Karan internally admitting he couldn't fight those guys after acting so macho and then his bad singing, to the cat's inner monologue and Jinta freaking out about physical proximity in such an awkward way, it was a fun episode.

I'm baffled by the high ratings, I enjoyed the series until the recent episode. I'm disturbed by the msg the series…
The show aside, as someone who is totally pro getting some BRUTAL and violent consequences for r@pists and thinks general law is too lax and soft in dealing with them, the reality is the police (law enforcement) are literally meant to stop anyone from killing or harming anyone else, no matter who did what. It's dumb and the law fails over and over again, but it's how it is, and with regards to the show, if the cop characters were portrayed to ignore the laws they serve, then they would technically be corrupt (which cops often are) but I don't think the writer wanted their MC's to be corrupt cops so ๐Ÿ˜‚

Before he walked away from Phaya, he did that thing with his eyes that Hyuna (the singer) does when she wants to look a little crazy, and it really carried the 'villain' look ๐Ÿ˜‚

This was a damn good episode. I wasn't keen on the supernatural aspect of things at first but this episode changed that, I like how they're incorporating it into the story. The fight scene were it was added was very nicely done. I also like how every episode feels full, not laggy. The police work side of things is still a little wishy washy with some holes in the writing, but not bad, certainly not anything that takes away from the show over all.
I also think the build up of Phaya and Tharn's attraction is great and so well paced, and them fantasizing and thinking about each other while tip toeing and hedging around getting together is so fun.

I do think they could go a little easier on the music in every scene. ๐Ÿ˜‚

I dunno how many people know this, but for readers of the MDZS manhua, the original artist posted the illustrated NC17 scenes of the novel, including the final scene, you know the one in the forest? That one, on their personal account a while back (which can also be found online in other places) So for anyone who read the manga and wished it hadn't been censored, the artist did us a favour and drew it unofficially. It's fantastic.

Ep 2: I'm realizing this is one of those BL's where you have to just go with the flow and try to ignore all the stuff that doesn't add up. e.g: the clawfoot bathtub that is situated so far from the faucet and showerhead ๐Ÿ˜‚ and the fact that Lai Dai Yi is an epically bad friend.

As the watcher of the JP ver, I check this one, and it's not bad as I think. I enjoyed it. It's cute, make me…
Hm, good points, I was wondering why the relationship development felt so smooth, too smooth. I watched the Japanese version when it came out more or less, but I couldn't figure out what was missing, but I think this does explain it. There is a lack of a certain kind of intensity between Karan and Achi, which might be that Achi is not an 'underdog' sort of character, like AK was, due to the different environments and cultures. Generally, when the underdog of a show finally gets seen and appreciated, there is usually a lot of empathy, happiness, and for some, a relatable feeling, from viewers, especially if the 'underdog' is well liked, but Achi doesn't need that since he's got a good social/work environment for the most part. So it's lacking in that way. Like, it feels like him and Karan click too easily compared to AK and KY.

This makes me wonder if the Thai version is going to introduce some other kind of emotional drama to compensate and whether that'll be a good or bad thing. Either way, the Thai version is still enjoyable so far.
