A very nice observation. It ties in well with the Jinx theory you had earlier too and it made it into Pran ready…
Yes, theres nothing concrete to back the statement that Pat knew Pran liked him, as many are claiming. Had he known he would have turned the whole world upside down, im sure of it. Yes the MV is pretty relevant to the plot and pleasing to hear too.

Say, if there are people leaving around reviews or ratings with one stars, how will it seem good for Bad Buddy? Hate rating was the term coined by someone here. What these people were hoping to see I have no idea. Many are probably put off by the fact that Pat and Pran are not showing off their abs. What does love have to do with people being sizzling hot in bed, is something I cannot seem to wrap my head around

I just re-watched ep 3 and I think your commentary is interesting especially because it's a slightly different…
Yes , youre right it might be an extension to that night also. But I certainly feel like theres something more to Pat's teases than what meets the eye whatever that might be. You're spot on about your observation that Pran suffers from some sort of trauma. I had shared it somewhere down here . Thank you for reading and sharing your views as well

Thank you for reading my observations. I do feel good when people say they read it. I'm pretty introverted, but here I get to interact with so many people. Makes me happy

Yes, that might be the case also. As you rightly pointed out, Pat did once say to Pran "You keep looking at me".

But Pat in my perception is not someone who' ll pretend to be oblivious of Pran's feelings ( teasing equates to oblivion for me , since Pat as a person , is pretty sincere in everything he does for Pran. Others might not agree with me on this one, I know) had he known it for sure. He's always high on his emotions, and does what he feels like. He would obviously act upon it if he knew for sure that Pran loves him.

Moreover Pat is a person whose actions speak louder than words. He would never arrange for an elaborate proposal or do other sweet things. He just treasured his guitar for years( pran's name was written on it, so he never cared about what their parents think),kept their telephone cans.

That is the reason why i think Pat was trying to tell Pran that he had missed him for a long time with those teases. But he does everything in a way like he doesn't really mean it. It becomes hard to see through him as well

A few observations regarding episode 3

Pat goes onto tease Pran about missing him at least 2-3 times in the episode

"If you miss me, don't knock just come in"
"Yes , I'm going , don't miss me" ( library scene)

Given the person Pat is , it is easy for Pran to shrug it off as a joke. But Pat seems to be obsessed with the notion of Pran missing him.Pat's teases meant that he had himself longed for Pran during those three years that he was gone. He's trying to GAUGE his POSITION and IMPORTANCE in Pran's life now through these actions since he was gone from his life for 3 years ......

"Are you this nosy with others as well? "

But since he hasn't come to terms with his own feelings, teasing is the only thing he does for now.

Another was the bus stop building scene

Pran: "Do you think they'll like it?"
Pat:" Yes they will, because I do"

This scene is symbolic to Pran asking Pat whether their parents will like and acknowledge thier relationship. Pran has always been apprehensive about their relationship. All it takes is one stren look from his mother to shut down (as seen during the music festival), or one pause from his friends( like Wai stopped him during building the bus stop) to leave him reconsidering. Pat knows that he's been through a lot, and reassures him that he has nothing to worry about. Their parents will like their relationship too, since he likes it

As always, great to have these insights from you. I still think these fights could have been staged better - they…
Yes, you're right the fights could've been staged better. I agree, the action sequences don't seem pretty serious. That's why they don't appeal to the viewers. Many of the fights are illogical too. But what to do, it's still a part of the plot. Hopefully when the fighting reduces, everyone will heave a sigh of relief. Till then, we need to put up with the Keystone Cops for the sake of the plot
LOL 😆

Gang rivalry is an essential part of the plot that's why it is there. It's okay for people not to like it,( I completely understand where you're coming from) but there's a good reason it is there.

The story is just not about Pran and Pat falling in love. The story draws inspiration from Romeo and Juliet.

As the story will unfold ,we will get to see how Pat and Pran along with their friends will bridge the differences and grow stronger by being together.

Just like the Capulets and Montagues learnt to sort out differences due to Romeo and Juliet's death, friends of both of Pat and Pran will grow because of uniting Pat and Pran

To quote P'Aof ... " The romance in this series will be used more than as a mere source of entertainment, but as a catalyst for change and learning"

It was unfair for their band mates in High School to blame Pat. He did not do anything bad. He was kind to Pran…
Yes but everyone held Pat responsible, knowing fully well that he had nothing to do with it. Pran considers him to be bad luck, because it helps him push Pat away. In the end , Pat is the one who is being affected the most. He might not show, but it does really pain him.

(Pay attention to last part of episode 3 when Pat's smile vanishes while Pran was playing. He's contemplating whether he really is the jinx in Pran's life as they claim him to be)

I think that the whole point of the scene was that anyone can be anything in a relationship as long as they are…
Yes agreed. I think the director is doing a marvelous work here. He's trying to bring about a revolution in the bl industry. Hopefully other directors also will take a note and present us with healthy relationships like this one. Love is an eternal emotion, it should not have anything to do with who's top or bottom. The story is about two boys who spent an entire lifetime pining for each other and I think thats so pure. Let us just not confine them to their actions in the bed room
