The writing is so bad last few episodes. Not liking the way its going.
I actually loved the last few episodes 😂 After the revenge plan was resolved, I'm really liking the direction it took. Not one boring second for me and I'm excited for next week. Guess it's all a matter of taste :)
Both ep 13 and 14 were sooooo good and exciting! Not one boring second. They really stepped up their game after the stupid revenge plan was resolved :D I can't wait until evil uncle gets what he deserves. I want to slap that smug expression off his face. He's so shameless!
Really loving this drama! Except the unreasonable revenge plan in the middle of the drama, there is nothing that I dislike. And the acting is just phenomenal. Jo Jung Seok is slaying this role! And the evil uncle as well.
I know Lee Hong Ran's blabber mouth is there to bring the story forward with her meddling everywhere, but gosh... I hate her loose mouth so much! She can't keep anything to herself. She's so insensitive. I honestly can't stand her character. And it's getting pretty repetitive... even in the preview for tomorrow. The writers could honestly do better to bring information to the leads. But it's always them hearing from her or eaves-dropping her conversations.
I also dislike Ba Da's wannabe comedy relief character. I could just do well without them... Just want to skip their scenes.
I really didn't want to drop this but according to recent comments, there is no point in watching this drama anymore. No reason to waste time for this drama. Life is too short lol Shame on the screenwriters for ruining a completely perfect novel and writing their personal fan fiction of it. If I'd be the original author I'd throw a fit...
At least I know now which screenwriters to avoid 😂
Sweet drama overall. I enjoyed the calm and slow vibes. The skinship between the leads was really natural and they had good chemistry. Lovable characters, especially the trio friendship between Yi Yang, Xiao Dong and Jiang Yang.
Although it was a bit too cheesy and cutesy for my taste. I cringed a lot at some scenes, especially public affection/confessions scenes. It's just too cringe for me lol Solid 8.0 for me tho :)
It felt like Xiao Dong had a huge crush on Yi Yang 😂 His eyes were always so full of love and admiration when he looked at him. Also loved how he was so protective and supportive of him, even tho he didn't show it directly.... well actually no, he showed it directly. He loves Yi Yang very much lol
I really loved the friendship of trio Yi Yang, Xiao Dong and Jiang Yang 🥰
I'm currently watching Jo Jung Suk's drama "Captivating the King" and I miss his acting so much, that's why I'm on a rewatch spree of his dramas. He doesn't star in a lot of dramas recently, that's kind of sad 😭 His characters are always so iconic.
I know Jealousy Incarnate is not a popular drama and got a lot of hate because of the heavy love triangle and jerk ML, but I enjoy this drama so much and I think it's due to the phenomenal acting of all the leads, especially Jo Jung Suk. I know his character is a total jack*ss, especially in the beginning, but I can't help but love him 😂 Wouldn't want to date someone like him in real life, but why is he so funny and charming in this one? Jo Jung Suk's acting makes the biggest jerk into a lovable character lol Also I absolutely loved the dynamic of Na Ri and Hwa Shin in the process of the drama. They felt like a match-made in heaven.
But I can understand why it's not everyone's cup of tea. Still, it's one of my favourites :D
The actress is the same, but the character is not. She plays "Luo Lin" in Meet Yourself as a cameo, but here she is "Xu You Feng". So there is no relation to the characters she plays...
I am afraid it will get even worst as now the script doesn't follow up the novel at all. In general they picked…
Sad that we missed so much exciting stuff... And can't believe they casually killed Cui Yan off like that while he had a happy ending in the novel.
Always wondering why scriptwriters think they write better stories than the original. Because they don't. Most of the time they mess everything up. They should stick to the script. I would be so pissed as the original author.
I stopped at ep 16, because I lost interest in the show somehow and I am not fan of this past/present storytelling, but I resumed today and even if I won't like the drama that much, I will continue for Yang Zi. She is such a great actress who elevates this drama for me. I enjoy her acting so much in here!
I had to laugh so much at her drunken behavior in the Karaoke in ep 17. "Will he catch a cold from having his neck exposed? He has a really long neck." LOOOOOOL That was hilarious XD
This show had such a visible downfall since ep 12... There are just some dramas which should stick to 12 episodes to remain good consistently. I hate how they brought three new villains in the span of 2 episodes. I just can't with so many unreasonable evil villains. It brings the quality of a show down so much with forced drama, that I just can't stand. With the preview I don't see how this is gonna get better. Feels like it's gonna fall even more. Seduce him back?! Yeah, have fun... oh man 🙈
This drama was actually quite good in the beginning, but at one point, I felt the writing became so messy and characters' actions not relatable anymore. Quality and writing wise it feels like I'm watching one of those 10 minutes short-length dramas now.
They also began their massacre spree with side characters. I believe it will also end like that. Killing everyone off to make it more dramatic, but not logical or emotional. I came this far, so I don't really want to drop, but I guess I will skip-watch the rest of this drama. I'm still curious how this will end, even tho I'm not emotional invested anymore.
I absolutely love watching him in Captivating the King right now. Makes me miss his acting so much. Therefore gonna rewatch some of his dramas! Gosh, how I wish he would star in more dramas. Hopefully he won't be gone for a few years again after his recent drama finishes...
I just started watching it I kinda like it I like Jo Jung Suk he is an effective actor for me
He is incredible! He makes this drama 1000x much better for me. Watching this reminded me of how much I actually missed his acting. It's been a few years since HP and even longer since he played in a drama without comedy and with heart-wrenching emotional scenes.
He's absolutely slaying it :D It's amazing how he is so great at melo-drama and comedy equally.
I really want to love and enjoy this drama because the ML is so great, the leads have chemistry and the plot is…
I would've liked it if her revenge was solely to seduce him, make him regret and kill him off. Simple like that, without a "grand" plan of dethronement or involving innocent people.
Just a personal vengeance out of hatred, without acting righteous and portraying them as noble intentions for the nation. That would make more sense imo.
I can't wait until evil uncle gets what he deserves. I want to slap that smug expression off his face. He's so shameless!
