Oh, didn't even see that tag 😂 I enjoyed black comedy in other dramas, but I can't seem to enjoy it here. But I like other aspects of the drama, so it's okay 😊

Am I the only one who thinks this drama feels like a weekend makjang Kdrama? The amount of family members and their screen time is really high which usually just happens with 50+ Eps weekend dramas.

Tbh... I don't really care for some (almost all lol) of the side characters, so this is kinda a turn off for me. If the support characters were less makjang/caricature and more realistic, then maybe I would feel different.

I enjoy this drama, but I guess I had expectations for something different. The comedy is not my taste. I find it morbid, because it's partly based on someone being thrilled of their partner dying, therefore being free, without the need going to the length of divorcing. Not my style of "funny". Call it dark humor, if you want lol

But I'm surely here for the angst, which is foreshadowing. I'm staying for the angst, regret and lots of tears 😂

So ending of ep 14 is the beginning of ep 1. I'm wondering why there was a gun shot sound at the end of the scene in ep.1... because the father didn't die from a gun shot.

There is no romance at all so far. Though chemistry between the leads is there, offering a strong foundation for potential romance. But I doubt they will go there in the last 2 episodes. Too much other stuff is happening.

I came for romance partly, because I mainly watch romance dramas, but I'm still enjoying this regardless. So still recommended, if you just want to watch good drama 😊

Oh no... why did they have to kill the father off?! 😭 That's just horrible... I feel so bad for Yi Soo.

I actually think his father was not a bad person at all. He was misunderstood and not able to communicate properly. I believe he loved Yi Soo's mother sincerely and also Yi Soo. Manipulating Yi Soo's memories was wrong, but I strongly believe he did it for Yi Soo's sake, because the mom's death traumatized the poor child too much, making him unable to sleep, eat etc...

Also the father knew that Seung Joo was not his biological son, but still kept both him and his mom by his side, even though he could've easily abandoned them. So I think that speaks a lot for his character. It's a shame the writers killed him off.

I really thought Yi Soo and his father rekindle their relationship would be a focus in this drama...but no, they even had to part in such a way. How will Yi Soo ever recover mentally?!

If the butler turns out to be the villain... then it's over for Yi Soo's mental health. Seriously, the writers won't go there, right? 😭 It would make him too pitiful of a character losing almost every precious person he has...

Ep. 13 was such a good episode again! This show has really grown on me, turning out to be a total gem! At first, I wasn't feeling it, but it totally picked up in the second half! Lately, I tend to lose interest in KDramas halfway through, but this one's got me hooked the other way around.

I'm loving the vibe of our team now. They're all about the teasing and bickering, but when it comes down to it, they've got each other's backs.

I was kinda hoping for a bit of romance, though, especially with the genres listed on MDL. While I'm a little bit bummed there is none, I'm still fully enjoying it. The leads still have chemistry and a well-written built up of their relationship.

Leads with chemistry, but no romance is faaar better than no chemistry with forced romance… like in other current airing dramas… (Who knows knows lol)

Yes, her acting is not the best, but I have more problems with the character itself than the acting. And putting all of these factors together generates a lot of negative opinions. But the hate she gets on her personal Insta is bullying at this point. I feel bad for her...

They should find the screenwriter of this drama instead and let the frustrations out there 😅

Yes! Really looking forward to this! AOS was his best work so far. As ML he sadly didn't have many good dramas. Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol could've been great, but writers were on crack while writing the last episodes 😂

It's so frustrating when your favorite actor is entangled in subpar scripts 😅 The urge to drop is strong, yet so is the desire to watch his acting performance...

In Ha turned out to be the trash he always was. I bet he’s the real psycho of Kangoh family amidst all the other Kangoh psychos... His fake ass is giving me the creeps.

Even if Tae Oh and Hye Won make out behind his back, I don't feel bad for him. Back then he just made a move on her because Tae Oh was interested in her, so he shouldn’t act surprised lol He’s a jerk and his pitiful background is not working on me.

The only character I solely root for is Tae Oh. I want him to destroy Kangoh including In Ha.

The writing is so messy... Feels like a school film project sometimes 😅

The writers totally failed to make Tae Oh’s unwavering love believable. Why did he fall in love with her to begin with and why does he still love her after 10 freakin years? 10 years!!! Not 10 months… but a whole freakin decade and they want to make us believe Tae Oh still couldn’t get over her and vice versa?



He thought of his memories with her before his near death-experience? What memories? They barely had any scenes together lol

That was embarrassing and cringey af how those flashbacks were total meaningless scenes, because they didn't have emotional scenes to begin with.

Their relationship was never shown to be that deep and the 10 years time-skip without showing any development in that regard was just the worst decision ever.

Then they kiss, the next minute she marries In Ha and the next minute Tae Oh wakes up in a murder scene as a prime suspect hahaha What a mess of a drama 😂

At some point this got kinda boring... I don't even need them to be together as of now, but I lost interest. Will put this on hold and binge-watch when all episodes are aired :)

I know his behaviour is all part of the "comedy", but it's actually making it hard for me to root for the romance in this drama 😅 How can I support a character who finds joy in his partner's misfortune/death and is changing his attitude for inheritance gain?

Well, I can say for sure, it doesn't change my mind about how I feel about the protagonists right now, especially ML and his ecstatic behavior of his wife dying even tho he loved her once genuinely. That's just sick. Especially for a person who's overly friendly and good-hearted otherwise. I will just let it slide, because this is a rom-com... even tho I'm barely trying to understand his psycho behavior lol

He read those articles because he doesn't want a miracle happen to her, so he looked up how many times that actually happened. That's not him being hopeful for her staying alive but about the reassurance that she is going to die.

That's why he wanted accurate facts about her chance of survival and Doctor told him, that miracles happens... So no, he's not nearly anyway good or genuine as of now 😅

I had to stop at ep 2 temporarily... Idk why, but I find it utterly disgusting how ML is overly ecstatic about his wife dying in 3 months. I know this is a romcom, but I didn't find anything in that regard funny...
I mean even if they didn't have a good marriage and are not in love anymore... how can you be so heartless? I'm not sure how the writers will be able to fix that. How can I ever think he genuinely loves her if he's so over the moon about her dying?! And apparently he is the "good" person in that relationship or in general being friendly with everyone. That's the behaviour of a psycho... even more so than her.

FL is not an angel... but ML is even worse with that attitude... All characters feel like antagonists to me >_> I mean I know this is the journey, but I really don't know how I can root for any of those characters...

Yes, because I misunderstood, what I googled. I thought the mandatory swimming lessons in Police University meant that it's mandatory for police officers to be able to swim. But it just meant that there are swimming lessons which police candidates have to take in University in Korea 😅
