I love the leads but it’s so hard to follow the story. I’m still on ep 2 and the FL does not act like a lawyer.
Come on, being a lawyer builds within you the confidence to at least keep your chin up high at work or with anyone.
This FL acts like she didn’t pursue college at all.

It’s simply because he’s really the most popular traffic actor now, and bankable too that everyone has their own bets for him. Some would go as far as making baseless dating rumors.

I personally love his chemistry with Xu Ruohan and I hope they’d get a reunion project soon. The rest of his pairings just pale in comparison to his chemistry with her.

It wasn’t really a remote spot though. The West Lake is one of the most visited areas in Hangzhou. People gather there any time of the day/night as there’s a lot of activities that can be done in the area.

And it was so cinematic too! I’ve been rewatching this for 18 times now but I still hype my Xifan up in that scene, hoping she’d finally get the courage to tell him how she feels!

I really don’t know. Sometimes when people complain about the DP, it gets changed right away without anyone knowing who did it. So maybe someone’s really in charge. Sadly that somebody is being stubborn with our pleas here.

Remember, he was surviving on cup noodles pre-Shen Xifan so I guess this is more of a case of “if he want to, he would.”

Mom and Dad found out about the breakup about three months since it happened and they saw how at peace their daughter was with that decision, and even moved on to doing far better things for herself, so why the need to patch them up?

It’s kinda full circle for He Su Ye’s character though. He wasn’t able to save his mom before for obvious reasons, so at least he got to save Xifan’s. Also, it made him face his trauma and came out of it well- he handled his emotions better too unlike when there was another trigger moment for him with a Mom patient whose child opted for a comfortable exit instead of pushing through with the treatment plan devised by He Su Ye. He was really pissed at that and made him relapse.

Another thing, wouldn’t it be nice to finally see expansively how Oncological TCM works? We merely had hits and pieces of it in prior episodes but to finally follow a patient going through it from the start was truly nice to see. It made the show’s purpose more apparent considering how they’ve been advocating for TCM and western medicine to work together.

Not sure why but if we look back on TBT, Shen Xi Fan had a lot more internal monologues compared to He Su Ye so that could be why.
And wow, I didn’t know the dubbing percentage info. May I know where you got that?

I agree. It spoils the ending too. Not everyone is chronically online to know the ending beforehand so to not be technically spoiled.
Having that ending poster is just so unnecessary.
