I feel bad for those who would get spoiled by the ending.

riiiight? i understand it’s not everyone’s cup of tea but it was the perfect drama to heal from.
For the first time in a while, I wasn’t anxious in watching a drama. I had complete trust in the characters because they were so beautifully introduced. They didn’t scrimp on the dialogues and scenes for us to understand them on a personal level.

So the entire journey for me was just an enjoyable watch. Letting them live their lives as a 3rd person rooting for all of them 🥹 That to me is so unique and healing.

Nothing’s final yet until official materials are released for broadcast promotions.

A lot of us loved the pacing! it was the perfect tempo for me for scarred characters to heal and grow and then fall in love again with the right person.

It’s about time the republican drama era gets on top again. It’s been a very long time since we’ve had good ones with good ratings.
Having these rising actors start the hype is really helping boost the genre up there.

It’s really hard checking on the crew’s equipments for filming but there are some BTS uploaded on line where the cameras they used for close-ups were shown, especially during the TCM consultation lunch scene in Guanan Huating. I just don’t know what kind of camera that was but it’s massive.

More likely. the trailer already showed scenes of a wrecked LingHe so we’d be expecting tragedy here.

It’s just Day 5 of filming but they’ve been serving angst, pain, and insane chemistry alreadyyyy.

So this is apparently a 2026 drama 🥹 I miss Xu Ruohan on screen that I really need this released faster.

Also, it’s noticeable that Zhang Ling He had picked up several of Ruohan’s mannerisms, plus they kept unintentionally mirroring each other during their interviews/promotional events too.

Captions, same-vibe posts, matching clothes— just those borderline delulu ones.

And maybe the reason why THE BEST THING’s He Su Hye casually commented on how beautiful the FL of this show was— the production wasn’t afraid of backlash or rumors as Zhang LingHe and Li Yitong are known as good friends.

Now on ep 2 and this seems like a fun show to watch after a tiring work day.
But can I just say how gorgeous Xu Ruohan is in here?? 😍
I thought her soft and calm aura- styling in TBT would be my favorite but this hot girl boss aura here might be taking the crown soon.

The ship is a minority compared to the ML’s prior ships but what’s making us borderline delulu is that they have a lot of coincidences even over a year after they’ve filmed this and their interactions are just very different compared to prior leads. Their co-actors and TBT crew tease them too.
I just hope they truly found a friend in each other as they seem to really click.
